Chapter 794 Eavesdropping on Conversations

Upon hearing this, the people burst into laughter. What a joke! You think you can take on all of us by yourself and throw us all down? Do you really think you're Superman?

"Kid, are you going to jump down yourself, or do you want us to throw you down? The choice is yours," one of them laughed.

Liu Xiaoyuan said, "Since that's how you are, then I won't stand on ceremony. Let's go!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Liu Xiaoyuan made his move. He kicked all of them down in an instant, just like a gust of wind. The crowd erupted in cheers.

No one expected Liu Xiaoyuan to be so skilled; these henchmen couldn't even last a single round against him.

Liu Xiaoyuan didn't leave, but stood there waiting for the manager to come, because the owner would surely find out what had happened through the surveillance cameras.

Just as Liu Xiaoyuan had predicted, the owner here immediately saw this scene through the surveillance camera.

"Boss, what should we do now? That kid seems pretty skilled," one of the boss's henchmen asked.

The boss, a middle-aged man, was sitting with his legs crossed, smoking a cigarette. Hearing his henchman's words, he put his legs down and said, "This kid doesn't seem like an ordinary expert. I'm afraid we can't handle him. Here's what we'll do: you take some people over to meet this kid, and I'll figure out the rest."

Upon hearing this, the henchman immediately left the boss's office and closed the door.

After the henchman closed the door, the father picked up the phone on the table and immediately made a call.

"Hey, Master Hou, a troublemaker has come to our area. He looks tough, and our people here can't handle him. Master Hou, could you send someone over to check him out? Otherwise, this kid will ransack our place!"

"Alright, I'll come over myself. Let's see who's got the guts to cause trouble here."

"Master Hou, it's wonderful that you came in person. With you here, that kid will definitely be beaten to a pulp." The boss flattered Master Hou. "Master Hou, should I drive over and pick you up?"

Master Hou said, "No need, you keep that kid calm and wait for me to come over."

"By the way, Master Hou, what should we do with those policemen who came to cause trouble? Although we've got them under control, they're a hot potato," the boss asked anxiously.

Master Hou said, "I'll take care of this when I get here. You don't need to worry about it. All you need to worry about is how much income you can bring me each month, understand?"

"Understood, Master Hou!" the boss nodded, wondering what Master Hou needed so much money for. Despite being the owner, Master Hou took the lion's share of the profits every month.

You could say that a boss is someone else's employee.

Although the boss was unwilling—who would want all the money they worked so hard to earn to be taken away by someone else?—he dared not utter a single word.

Because in the boss's eyes, Master Hou was a god-like figure, and crushing him was as easy as crushing an ant.

For the sake of his own life, the boss had no choice but to give almost all of his monthly income to this Master Hou.

After hanging up the phone, the boss decided to go out himself to calm the troublemaker down and prevent him from causing any more trouble.

Liu Xiaoyuan was waiting here when suddenly a dozen or so thugs walked over and immediately surrounded him.

"Kid, you've got some nerve, haven't you? You dare to cause trouble here? Have you lost your mind or something?" The man stepped forward and pointed at Liu Xiaoyuan, cursing him, but he looked like he was all bark and no bite.

"Are you the person in charge here?" After saying that, Liu Xiaoyuan went straight to the man, grabbed him by the collar, and asked.

The man was so frightened that he could barely speak: "I am, I am the person in charge here, what do you want?"

Liu Xiaoyuan asked, "I'm asking you, where are the police officers you arrested being held?"

"Brother, we're respectable people, how could we arrest a policeman? You must have made a mistake, you must have made a mistake." The man quickly denied it, something he would never admit to under any circumstances.

When the man saw Liu Xiaoyuan asking about the police, he knew that Liu Xiaoyuan was probably in cahoots with those police officers, and if he confessed, his fate would be even worse.

Besides, the man thought Liu Xiaoyuan was a colleague of the police officer, so even if he hit him, the officer wouldn't do anything to him. Police officers are disciplined, and if they hit someone without warning, they would be breaking the rules and would lose their jobs.

Therefore, the man would never admit to it unless a knife was held to his throat.

"You won't talk, huh?" Liu Xiaoyuan punched the man directly in the face, causing blood to stream down the man's nose.

The man was about to cry. "Didn't they say the police shouldn't hit people randomly? Why did they hit me?"

"You're a police officer, how can you beat up ordinary people like us?" the man said, his voice trembling with tears.

Liu Xiaoyuan snorted coldly and asked, "Who told you I'm a policeman? I'm just an ordinary citizen. If you don't tell the truth, believe me, I'll take your life right now."

Seeing that Liu Xiaoyuan didn't seem to be joking, the man was immediately startled. How terrible it would be to be beaten to death!

"Okay, I'll talk, I'll talk, about those guys who were arrested..." The man was about to confess honestly, but before he could finish speaking, the boss arrived just in time and interrupted him.

"Brother, what brings you here? This is a society governed by law; such violence seems inappropriate, doesn't it?" the shopkeeper said with a smile.

When Liu Xiaoyuan saw that his boss had interrupted the man, he was furious. He was about to get information from Lu Siyao and the others, and this guy came over and interrupted him. He was practically asking for death.

Liu Xiaoyuan walked straight over and slapped the boss across the face without warning.

"Shut up! Can't you see I'm asking you a question? How dare you interrupt me? You deserve a beating!" With that, Liu Xiaoyuan slapped him again.

The two slaps drew blood from the boss's mouth, leaving him completely stunned. He hadn't expected Liu Xiaoyuan to be this kind of person, acting so decisively and without hesitation.

After slapping the boss twice, Liu Xiaoyuan walked up to the man and asked, "Speak now, you can talk now!"

Seeing Liu Xiaoyuan's fierce demeanor, the man dared not hesitate any longer and said, "Those police officers are all locked up in the basement!"
