Chapter 7 Director Yue's Shock

This request is truly absurd...

Even kindergarten children know that eating raw meat from World of Warcraft will drive a person insane.

Consuming large quantities can even pose a life-threatening risk.

Eating thirty pounds of raw, bloody monster meat every day...

This is no longer a question of whether or not someone has gone mad; it's a question of where to bury them.

Any normal person would probably be internally criticizing Ye Ran by now.

However, Wang Dachun was only shocked for a moment before saying to Ye Ran:

"Teacher, I'll go get the meat right now."

His tone was so calm, as if he were preparing an ordinary lunch.

Looking at Wang Dachun's calm demeanor, Ye Ran couldn't help but wonder:

"Da Chun, don't you have any doubts at all? This is raw meat from a magical beast; eating it could drive you crazy."

In response to Ye Ran's question, Wang Dachun nodded seriously:

"Teacher Ye, of course I know. When I was a child, someone in our village accidentally ate raw meat from a monster, and now the grass on his grave is two meters high."

"So you just agreed?" Ye Ran asked curiously, Wang Dachun's reaction was just too calm.

His calm demeanor made Ye Ran wonder if he was already planning to say one thing but not do it in private.

Wang Dachun looked at Ye Ran, his clear eyes revealing a simple and honest nature.

He scratched the back of his head sheepishly: "Ah, wasn't this what you instructed, Teacher Ye?"

Listening to Wang Dachun's simple and honest answer,

Ye Ran was slightly taken aback, then couldn't help but laugh.

This time, I found myself judging others by my own petty standards.

Looking at the honest and simple Wang Dachun in front of him, Ye Ran felt a warmth in her heart.

Having lived two lives, I've been an adult for too long.

It's rare to experience such pure trust.

Ye Ran patted Wang Dachun on the shoulder: "Work hard and trust your teacher. In less than a month, you will be reborn."

Wang Dachun nodded earnestly as he listened to Ye Ran's encouragement:

"Okay, Teacher Ye, I will carry it out carefully."

Ye Ran became more and more satisfied with Wang Dachun the more she looked at him.

Which teacher wouldn't be proud to have a student who trusts them so much?

With a student like Wang Dachun, his individual performance in this final exam is at least guaranteed.

Watching Wang Dachun leave,

Ye Ran also packed up and prepared to return to the classroom.

There is one month left until the end of the semester.

It's not enough for just one student to stand out; the final exam includes both individual and team competitions.

I need to work harder and try to find a few more geniuses from the class.

However, this can also be seen from Wang Dachun.

There must be many undiscovered geniuses in my class.

After all, Shanghai Martial Arts Academy is one of the top ten universities in the country, and the students it admits are all the cream of the crop when they first enter.

As for why they came to this "lazy" class, they all probably have their own stories.

Thinking about this,

Ye Ran couldn't help but touch his chin, his eyes revealing anticipation.

At this very moment, inside the Academic Affairs Office,

Le Wanyi was bent over her desk, revising documents.

She was in a bad mood today, and even her handwriting was a bit messy.

The thought of standing on the podium of Class 2, Grade 1 today, looking down at those lazy students below, made her angry.

And Ye Ran,

Even though their grades are absolutely terrible...

And yet he was still there, nonchalantly acting as a peacemaker.

"Hmph, you stinky Ye Ran, how can you still laugh when you're in such a state?!"

Thinking of this, Le Wanyi muttered to herself, sulking. Her slightly puffed-up cheeks added a touch of playfulness to her usually aloof face.

Thinking of Ye Ran's indifferent expression, Le Wanyi couldn't help but frown:

"You really don't know why I came here...?"

Le Wanyi murmured to herself, her gaze fixed on a doll on her desk, lost in thought.

It was a cute little girl clay figurine.

This was a gift Ye Ran had once given her, and Le Wanyi always kept it with her.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

A rapid knocking interrupted Yue Wanyi's thoughts.

Le Wanyi instantly reverted to her aura as a cool and powerful businesswoman: "Go in."

The person who entered was Yue Wanyi's assistant, Wang Xiaoman.

A fat man followed behind him; he was Xu Youcai, the head of the freshman supplies department.

"Director Le, Teacher Xu has something urgent to report to you."

"Professor Xu? What a rare guest! You usually avoid our academic affairs office. Why did you come here today?"

The Shanghai Martial Arts Academy separates its academic affairs from its financial affairs, with the two departments checking and balancing each other to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

Le Wanyi gestured for Wang Xiaoman to pour water, then glanced curiously at Xu Youcai standing to the side.

With his large pregnant belly, Xu Youcai said in his unique southern accent, "Director Le, you're being too polite. I'm Curry Gong, and we're all in the same grade, so it's only natural that we should visit each other more often."

Le Wanyi blew on the floating tea leaves in her teacup and said, "I'm afraid that our Mr. Xu has come here specifically to embezzle our freshmen's supplies."

"Director Le, I am Curry Gong, what are you saying? I, Xu Youcai, have devoted myself to our freshmen, risking my life for them. I have a heart full of passion for teachers and students. Director Le, you are chilling the heart of a loyal minister."

Unsolicited kindness is either a sign of ulterior motives or theft.

Le Wanyi squinted at Xu Youcai: "You, Xu Youcai, have to haggle with our academic affairs office for ages over something as simple as an eraser. How can I believe you? Tell me, what brings you here today?"
