After entering the Ghost Gate, the sounds of fighting outside faded away and everything around became dark. As expected, Fan Zhiyi and Cen Jun dispersed again, Bai Bai also disappeared, and he was the only one left in the whole world.
The barrier kept making sounds of being hit by something, and ghosts cried from time to time, making Fan Zhiyi terrified and nervous. He guessed that his small barrier would not last long, and hurriedly prepared countermeasures.
How is he going to find Bing Nandong?
As Fan Zhiyi pondered this, he pulled out the ghost-exorcising lantern Bing Nandong had given him before the barrier shattered. The moment the light came on, he could clearly see the various evil spirits swirling around him. Each one had a unique appearance, frightening him so much that he shuddered and screamed numerous times.
Fortunately, he always carried the self-defense items given by Bing Nandong with him, including the outer robe, which Fan Zhiyi used to cover himself from head to toe.
But the evil ghost in this ghost gate was extremely ferocious. Fan Zhiyi's barrier was broken, so he could only use the lantern to drive away the ghost spirit and ghosts. He used his thumb to push open the sheath of the dagger, holding it up and walking slowly forward, exploring carefully.
During this time, Fan Zhiyi remembered the red rope on his wrist, but Bing Nandong had cut the rope with a dagger when he lost control and used it to tie him up that night.
But Fan Zhiyi still tried to drive the red rope with a lucky mentality. Unexpectedly, it succeeded. One end of the red rope was tied to his hand, and the other end led to the distance, becoming the only guide in the darkness.
Fan Zhiyi ran in the direction he was going. He felt like he had been running for a long time and a very far distance. Everything was unknown and there was nothing around him.
He couldn't stop. He was determined to find Bing Nandong as soon as possible.
"What's your name?"
Fan Zhiyi heard Bing Nandong's voice and immediately stopped looking.
The light from the lantern instantly dissipated into tiny fireflies that broke through the lampshade and flew toward his side and back, gathering into a sea of stars that was reflected in Fan Zhiyi's eyes.
He saw Bing Nandong among the stars, still holding the sharp sword, but the sword body was intact without any cracks, and the sachet was no longer on the hilt.
The white hairband fluttered in the wind, and Bing Nandong descended like an immortal. He made a sword flower with his hand, slightly tilted his eyes, and stretched out his hand to the person kneeling in front of him while his hair fluttered.
The man reached out his hand tremblingly and shook it: "Fan Zhiyi."
Seeing this, Fan Zhiyi suddenly felt a headache, as if he was pierced by thousands of needles. He could no longer stand, and his legs went weak and he fell to the ground.
The lantern swayed left and right as he moved, and the light and shadow rolled like waves on the sea.
It was obviously not the same face, but Fan Zhiyi knew that the person was himself.
Countless memories rushed into Fan Zhiyi's brain without giving him a chance to breathe. Fan Zhiyi felt like his head was about to explode.
By the way, this was the first time he met Bing Nandong.
He was found by Bai Bai and traveled into this book because of his sudden death. He was asked to find a way to dispel the male protagonist's idea of eventually destroying himself, others and the world.
The beginning is the same as the beginning of the original book, except that he happened to travel through time and space to the body of a person who had just been scared to death by a ghost, and was then rescued by Bing Nandong. It also happened that Bing Nandong wanted to maintain his image as a righteous person, so he tried every means to follow Bing Nandong while doing his best to complete the task.
But for some unknown reason, Bing Nandong made him discover his other identity, and then confined him to the ghost town, but still wanted him to stay by his side.
In the end, Bing Nandong still ended up destroyed according to the ending in the original book.
This memory ended here, and Fan Zhiyi was gasping for breath, almost crawling on the ground, in excruciating pain.
The second paragraph follows immediately. This time he is reborn as one of the many supporters and admirers of Bing Nandong, the leader of Tianyun Sect. He deeply reflects on the fact that his last attempt to influence the male protagonist with words was not feasible, so this time he has to win over his heart and deeply understand why Bing Nandong has the idea of destroying the world.
So he practiced hard and did not miss any opportunity to attract the male protagonist's attention. With his last understanding and analysis of the male protagonist, he finally became the male protagonist's open and close friend.
He noticed that when the male protagonist occasionally smiled at others, there would be a hint of amusement and indifference in his eyes, but this feeling was fleeting, and the male protagonist was still the immortal who could save them from the sea of suffering in everyone's heart.
But the ending this time was not good either. The male protagonist went crazy and didn't want to act anymore. He became the enemy of the entire cultivation world and was hunted down and despised.
When they met for the last time, Bing Nandong wanted to kill him, but the sword was only one millimeter away from his eyeball. Bing Nandong suddenly put away the sword and just looked at him expressionlessly, heading towards the ending of the original book.
As the second memory ended, Fan Zhiyi was overcome with grief. He tried to ease the torment within his body, as if his soul were being torn apart, by banging his head against the ground. He didn't care how ferocious the surroundings were, or that he couldn't release the lantern. He simply wanted to find a way to stop the pain.
When did all this happen? Didn’t he only lose his memory twice? Once he was Cen Jun’s brother, and once he was Cen Jun’s master. Where did this memory come from?
In the third paragraph, Bai Bai gave up the method of persuading the male protagonist, gave him a weapon, and gave him clear instructions to kill Bing Nandong.
This time when he actually met Bing Nandong, Bing Nandong was surrounded by thousands of ghosts, and the tip of his sword pierced Bing Nandong's shoulder.
Bing Nandong laughed sarcastically, "This sword of yours is different. It seems like it can really kill me."
After saying this, Bing Nandong reached out and grabbed the sword, then took a few steps forward and peeked in curiously. "I've seen you several times. You've been hailed as a rising star, comparable to the Tianyun Sect's leader, right? How come I gave you the chance but couldn't even stab you in the heart?"
