Chapter 277 Wang Xie's Side Story: I Miss You So Much

A separate courtyard.

The moonlight was serene and its cool glow spilled into the courtyard, illuminating the two people in the veranda.

Wang Hezhan stared intently at the person in front of him, the words that had been lingering in his heart seemed to be suppressed and unable to be spoken. They clung to her face like a greedy, vicious dog, as if afraid that this was just an illusion of flowers blooming at sea, and that after the dream ended, it would just be a mirage of nothingness.

Xie Rongyue looked away from his gaze and said coldly, "That's how it is. Is the general satisfied?"

He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. "You're lying to me. You took the opportunity to leave with your brother. That corpse was faked by him. You wanted to escape from me."

"---"

She remained silent with a cold expression.

Wang Hezhan wasn't angry. He slowly pulled her into his arms and whispered, "It's my fault, it's my fault for being blind and not recognizing you."

Xie Rongyue didn't want to be so close to him, so she reached out to push him away, but he was as hard as a rock and she couldn't budge him at all. She got angry and her eyes turned red, so she punched him.

"Wouldn't it be better to spare my life?"

"But I'm going crazy thinking about you." He roared angrily, holding her tightly. "Do you know how I've been these past three years? You dared to fake your death and lie to me, hiding in this godforsaken place. I thought you were dead and didn't want to live anymore."

Xie Rongyue's back stiffened, and the hand that was pushing his shoulder froze, her fair fingertips turning white.

"What exactly is going on with that man? What have you been doing for the past three years?"

She didn't want to talk to him, so she turned her face away and didn't say a word.

Three years ago, she fell seriously ill after returning home and spent most of her time staying at home. Her father was gone, but her stepmother never deprived her of anything, so she lived a relatively peaceful life.

But after her mother died, her aunt was afraid that she would be mistreated at home, so she took her to the main residence in Yandu. This displeased her grandmother, who didn't like her. Her elder brother loved his younger siblings, but he was not in Yangxia for many years, so she didn't leave the mansion much.

But she was getting on in years and couldn't stay in the mansion all the time, so her grandmother asked someone to find her a husband.

When her elder brother took her to Changzhou, she met the governor's son once. Later, he often came to Yangxia to see her. In fact, they didn't have much interaction, but he suffered this undeserved disaster because of her.

As the thought flashed through her mind, she looked at the man in front of her, her throat feeling sore and dry, filled with sadness, anger, and sorrow that seemed about to burst forth from her chest.

Three years have passed, and the person she thought she would never see again suddenly reappeared in front of her, once again disrupting her peaceful life.

The night wind blew through the eaves, ruffling the two men's robes and making a soft sound.

Unable to hear her response, Wang Hezhan's eyes darkened. He hugged her tightly, savoring her exquisite and graceful body, and took a deep breath.

"Come back to Yandu with me."

Xie Rongyue paused slightly, then looked up over his shoulder at the vast sky outside the corridor. Memories, like fluttering butterflies, gradually became clearer in her mind.

He held her tightly, greedily sucking and kissing her neck, uttering threats without restraint.

"I've never failed to get the person I want, whether it was three years ago or now, Yue'er, you can't escape."

Her heart grew colder and colder, and hot tears streamed down her face. She listened silently without saying a word.

“Killing your brother is as easy as crushing an ant for me. The Xie family of Chenjun will not oppose me because of a son from another family. They will come back to Yandu with me. I will forgive and forget those things.”

The night was pitch black, and the cool moonlight shone on their clothes, giving off a faint, cool glow.

Xie Rongyue stood quietly, the lamplight under the eaves illuminating her pale face, her voice as deep and unfathomable as a still pool.

"Will you only let me go if I really die?"

Her voice rolled across his heart like muffled thunder, burning his soul, meandering as if it had taken root and was gnawing at his bones and flesh.

Wang Hezhan felt as if something was being torn apart, his heart aching as if being stabbed with a knife. He held her tightly, pressed himself against the red pillar by the corridor, and hissed.

"Don't do that."

Xie Rongyue glanced at his face, gave a cold smile, and tears streamed down her face.

"I've already fled to the southwest, why won't you let me go?"

A chilling desolation drifted through the air with the cold wind. The moonlight illuminated his eyebrows, his slender eyes, and his high nose, casting a shadow of unprecedented dejection on his usually arrogant face.

The usually aloof young master didn't know what to say. Suddenly, he leaned down and forcefully pressed her against the pillar. His cool lips kissed her tears, her face, her nose, and then stopped at her mouth.

"I miss you so much."

Xie Rongyue paused slightly. His voice was so low, as if a pebble had been gently dropped into her body, echoing softly and rippling in circles.

"Moon, I really miss you."

He gripped her body tightly, pressing her down and fiercely kissing her lips, his tongue greedily sucking into her mouth.

Xie Rongyue's eyes reddened from his kiss. She reached out to push him away or kick him, but he held her firmly, gripping her wrist tightly. He was so strong that she couldn't break free.

The moon hung brightly in the sky, and the gentle breeze blew through the crabapple trees on both sides, lifting the robes of the two people as they kissed passionately.

He rubbed his teeth against her delicate collarbone, reached out and caressed her softness, kneading her like a wolf through her clothes.

She gasped for breath, unable to utter a word, but her hands pinched and twisted him mercilessly.

Wang Hezhan felt no pain at all. Instead, he felt a thrill from her vibrant life. Whether he loved or hated her, it was better than ignoring everything. Regardless of her reaction, he kissed her lips and sucked on her soft flesh without feeling any pain.

Xie Rongyue was so angry that she went mad. She lay in his arms, her hot, wet tears falling in streams, soaking his robes.

He kissed her fiercely, as if he wanted to devour her piece by piece.

Unable to bear it any longer, she forced back the sorrow in her heart and asked in a hoarse voice, "Are you going to force yourself on me?"

The surrounding air suddenly became still for a moment, the man on top of her stopped moving, and the wind from the clear pool in the distance blew, moistening their cheeks.

Looking at the tears in her eyes, Wang Hezhan forced himself to suppress the malice in his heart and lowered his eyelids.

“I have already made things clear to the general today. I did not wrong you three years ago. Please, general, do not humiliate me any further.”

She gathered her clothes to cover her exposed skin and turned to leave.

Wang Hezhan couldn't bear to see her leave, so he grabbed her wrist.

Xie Rongyue didn't turn around, her voice choked with sobs, "Please let me go back to the manor first, my family will worry."

"I'll send someone to tell them."

She trembled, turned to look at him with teary eyes, and pleaded, "Please, I don't want my family to know about those humiliating past experiences."
