Chapter 255 Xie Wang's Side Story: Wedding Night

Xie Xuan listened to her tearful accusations, grabbed her hand, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

Wang Wan struggled angrily, trying to push his shoulders with both hands, but he was too strong, and she couldn't break free at all.

He buried his face in the crook of her neck and inhaled deeply, his hand slipping inside her clothes to caress her fair skin, moving upwards to her smooth, snowy white flesh.

She froze, hurriedly tried to push him away, and shouted angrily, "Let go—"

Xie Xuan didn't let go, but instead lifted her onto the table and pinned her down, holding her hands above her head, and smiled like a fox.

"You're so worried about my second brother, but his men saw me take you away and didn't do anything."

Wang Wan was taken aback, bit her lower lip, and glared at him resentfully.

“Ah Wan, have I told you that my second brother deeply loved his deceased wife? If you marry him, you will only be left alone in an empty room, lonely and isolated.”

"---"

Her cheeks flushed red from his arrogant and frivolous words, and she remained silent for a moment.

Inside, everyone quietly bowed and withdrew, closing the door behind them. The cold moonlight from the west window spilled onto the empty floor, while the flickering candlelight of the palace lanterns illuminated the faces of the two, casting soft shadows.

Xie Xuan reached out and untied his belt, wrapping it around her wrists to restrain her. The cold white light shone on her face, adding to her vulnerability.

He smiled faintly and touched her eyes, nose, and eyebrows, finally stopping at her lips, where he gave them a hard squeeze.

She hissed in pain, glared at him, and struggled, twisting her waist.

Xie Xuan pressed her down and reached out to undo her clothes, slowly peeling them off until they scattered on the ground, leaving only a bamboo-colored bodice that could not contain her delicate, snowy breasts.

What are you going to do?

He gently stroked her skin, then leaned down and kissed her lips softly.

"A beautiful day, a lovely scene, and the wedding night is filled with joy."

"crazy---"

Before he could even utter a curse, he grabbed her head and forcefully kissed her, drawing her mouth in and frantically savoring her sweetness.

The room was dimly lit, with two palace lanterns burning on ancient bronze branches on either side, covered with soft white lampshades, illuminating the space with a hazy, ambiguous light and shadow.

Wang Wan was held firmly in place, unable to move, the man's wild and intense aura lingering on her body, leaving her with no way to escape.

Moonlight streamed in through the window, and two intertwined figures could be vaguely seen.

Xie Xuan kissed her frantically, like a wild beast that had been starving for a long time, greedily leaving his marks on her body.

The thought of her family possibly being thrown into chaos made Wang Wan struggle in anger, and she raised her leg to kick him.

As if sensing something, he pressed down on her knees and kissed her deeply and passionately, their ears and cheeks rubbing together tightly.

Her lips were flushed and glistening from his kisses, her eyes were misty, and the broken sounds were especially enchanting in the quiet room.

What exactly do you want?

She had no idea that he would be so crazy as to disregard the reputation of both families and kidnap her on the eve of their wedding.

Xie Xuan pressed her body down, kissing her earlobe repeatedly, "When you agree to marry me, I will let you go back to Yandu."

Since the soft approach didn't work, he'd have to resort to the hard one. He just couldn't stand seeing her marry someone else, so he'd tie her to his bed if he wanted.

"You've gone mad! You've completely lost your mind! The news of my marriage to your second brother has already spread throughout Yandu, yet I ran away on our wedding day, bringing shame to both our families. If I were to marry you later, would it make us a laughingstock in the eyes of everyone in Yandu? Not to mention the Wang family of Langya, even the Xie family of Chenjun would not agree to our marriage."

"You don't need to worry about these things, I will take care of everything."

"---"

“Ah Wan, I gave you a chance, but you forced me to do it.”

Hearing his accusations, Wang Wan's reddened eyes welled up with tears. She twisted her waist and struggled, saying, "If the Xie family finds out about the despicable things you've done, they'll beat you to death."

Xie Xuan didn't care at all. He pinched her cheeks and curled the corners of his mouth. "Things can't be turned back now. Awan, you should think about our relationship."

Without giving her a chance to speak, he silenced her with a kiss, pried open her teeth, and probed inside.

Wang Wan groaned and kicked and thrashed at him, but his breath lingered around her, and her body went limp uncontrollably, letting out soft moans.

Her eyes reddened with anger, hating her own weak will and the trouble she had brought to Xie An and the shameful secrets to her family.

Having been kidnapped before marriage and utterly humiliated, how could she possibly face returning home? She might as well fend for herself.

Xie Xuan was unaware of her thoughts. He touched her smooth, jade-like waist and fiercely kissed and gnawed at her lips.

He couldn't let go, and he couldn't bear to see her touched by someone else. Even if it meant bearing a bad reputation, he was willing to do it.

The palace lanterns in the corner occasionally crackled with sparks, and the two people's voices echoed softly in the room.

Wang Wan was pale, with a metallic taste coming from the corner of her mouth, and she pushed him with difficulty.

"Pain -- Heartache -- Medicine --"

Xie Xuan paused, looked up at her, his expression changed slightly, picked her up and walked into the inner room.

The sound of the night watchman striking the gong and drum rang out in the quiet of the night, and the entire courtyard was instantly illuminated. A well-trained maidservant quickly carried the medicine to the main courtyard.

Inside the dimly lit tent, the young girl lay curled up in pain on the couch, her slender fingers gripping the luxurious brocade quilt tightly, cold sweat pouring down her forehead.

Xie Xuan sat on the edge of the couch, took the medicine brought by the maid, held her shoulders and pulled her into his arms, carefully bringing the medicine to her lips.

Wang Wan was weak and powerless. She leaned against him, frowning as she smelled the bitter medicine.

He threatened, "Does Awan want me to feed you by mouth?"

She ignored him, opened her mouth and took small sips of the medicine, then rinsed her mouth.

Are you feeling better?

His low voice lingered in my ears, rippling through my heart, slowly drifting and echoing.

Wang Wan felt the pain in her body gradually subside, so she shifted her body and lay down on her side.

Xie Xuan didn't mind. He placed the porcelain bowl on the tray carried by the maid, waved his hand, and signaled the maid to leave.

The door was closed, and he sat on the edge of the couch, watching her improved complexion. Taking advantage of the situation, he leaned down and kissed her lips again.

She was startled, then snapped out of her daze and glared at him angrily.

Xie Xuan straightened up, raised an eyebrow and smiled, "To deal with you, I need to use tough methods."

The point is to force her into a corner where she has no choice but to marry him.

"You—you weren't like this before—"

"What else can I do?"

He chuckled self-deprecatingly, climbed onto the bed, wrapped his arms around her waist, and held her in his embrace.

The tent was dimly lit, and Wang Wan couldn't see his expression clearly. He was holding her, and many people and things popped into her mind: Xie Er, Heng Zhiyan, her parents and elders, the elopement, power, and all sorts of thoughts made her feel breathless.

Xie Xuan noticed her stiffness and her dark, lifeless eyes, so he turned her around to face him.

They'll be doing even more intimate things in the future, so why are they being so stiff?

He held her in his arms, pressing her back down, and kissed her forehead. "I'll let you off the hook for today. We'll consummate our marriage when you're feeling better."
