The young man was naturally Shen Qian. Upon hearing this, he glared at Huo Ling'er again, who playfully stuck out her tongue at him.
Shen Qian never expected that Huo Ling'er was hidden in the medical team in Shancheng. He only found out when Huo Ling'er contacted him that Huo Ling'er's family headquarters was in Shancheng. And now it was winter vacation, and Huo Ling'er, who couldn't stay idle, somehow got into the volunteer team.
After dusk, Shen Qian and his group set off from the base and went directly to the garrison camp that had been attacked by monsters. Upon arrival, they learned that the medical team had been hit by a sandstorm and many people had been separated from the group.
Having just received Huo Ling'er's message, Shen Qian instructed the other team members to search for the missing medical personnel along the way. "I'm talking about your own armored vehicles," Shen Qian said, pointing behind the group.
Thinking the young man was unaware of the situation, Mr. Wang quickly explained, "The car is broken down and can't be driven. You need to contact the rescue team immediately and have them send another car over..."
As he spoke, a question flashed through Master Wang's mind: if the young man did not come by car, how did he get here?
"I know the car is broken, but it's not a big problem. Just get in, and I'll take you to your destination."
He waved before sinking.
His words carried a certain persuasive power, and led by Huo Ling'er, everyone subconsciously returned to the cabin.
"Could he be a car mechanic?" the freckled girl asked, somewhat puzzled, as she settled into her seat.
Shen Zongwen then realized how he had gotten into the car in a daze. He was about to ask Huo Ling'er about the young man's background when he suddenly felt a jolt beneath him.
The others also gasped in surprise, their faces showing panic as the sudden shaking began, thinking that the unknown monster had returned.
"Excuse me, it might be a bit bumpy, please hold on tight."
At this moment, Shen Qian's head peeked in through the crack in the carriage. After smiling, before anyone else could say anything, he grabbed the wrist of the bottom of the armored vehicle with one hand and suddenly exerted force.
With a loud "boom," everyone in the cabin experienced a dizzying, weightless sensation. When they regained their senses, they were startled by the howling wind and the rapidly changing scenery around them.
The armored vehicle... flew up?!
