As if waking from a dream, Shen Qian quickly caught up with Liu Changqing.
During this time, all the black-clad figures underground dared not breathe. They had no clear understanding of the level of the being who could seriously injure Zhao Guangshou, a high-level martial artist, with a single punch, but they felt as insignificant as ants.
As Shen Qian dragged his ailing legs to his side, Liu Changqing grabbed his shoulder with his right hand and lifted Zhao Guangshou with his left, then suddenly leaped into the air.
Go straight up from the third basement level.
Boom!
As the building broke open and stones collapsed, faint screams could be heard from below.
"Don't look at me like that. You're not exactly a cultivator, are you? Do you think you can just get smashed to death?"
Liu Changqing seemed to notice Shen Qian's gaze and said calmly, "Just giving him a lesson."
Shen Qian wanted to say something, but the next moment they had already passed through the ground and flown out of the first floor of the main building. Under the high speed of flight, the violent wind rushed in their face, and Shen Qian could not even open his eyes. He could only keep his mouth tightly shut.
...
The police have more than twenty posts throughout the city, with the post in the east of the city being one of the larger ones.
It was early morning, just as the sun was rising, and a large number of police officers and armed personnel were coming and going in the eastern part of the city, creating a busy scene.
Two police officers were walking forward in the courtyard, discussing a case, when suddenly one of them stopped. "What's that sound?"
The other person also listened intently, and then looked up as if he had sensed something.
Not only the two of them, but also many police officers and armed personnel in the compound and on the upper floors of the office buildings peered out and looked up at the sky.
The ear-piercing sonic boom grew louder and louder, followed by a rapidly falling black shadow.
boom!
Liu Changqing, carrying two people, landed heavily in the courtyard of the police officers.
Click!
Spiderweb-like cracks extended across a radius of ten meters on the blue bricks of the ground.
Liu Changqing appeared calm on the surface, but inwardly he was thinking, "Carrying two people at high speed is still a bit strenuous. Controlling the power is so difficult, and my legs are killing me..."
Seeing that Liu Changqing had been silent for a long time after landing, Shen Qian asked curiously, "Teacher Liu, what's wrong?"
"It's alright."
After Liu Changqing and others regained their normal blood and qi circulation, he exhaled a breath of stale air. Looking at the somewhat chaotic encampment, he casually grabbed a police officer and pulled him over.
"That Zhao... Zhao something again?" This question was directed at Chen Qian.
"Zhao Guiying".
"Oh, right, where is Zhao Guiying?" Liu Changqing looked at the police officer again.
The police officer glanced at Zhao Guangshou, who was being carried by Liu Changqing, a look of shock flashing across his face. He then swallowed hard and honestly replied, "Third floor."
Shen Qian subconsciously looked up, his gaze quickly sharpening as he pointed to a window on the east side of the third floor. "There it is!"
Liu Changqing followed his finger and saw Zhao Guiying, whose face had changed drastically, shrink back and turn to run away.
"Oh."
Liu Changqing smiled contemptuously, threw Zhao Guangshou to the ground, and then grabbed Shen Qian's foot and moved.
Boom!
The scenery before their eyes shifted rapidly, and when Shen Qian regained his senses from the dizziness, they had already passed through the broken glass and appeared inside Zhao Guiying's office.
Zhao Guiying froze as she opened the door. She slowly turned around, her eyes filled with barely suppressed fear as she looked at Liu Changqing, a far cry from the indifference she had shown when they first met.
"Why...why are you backing him up?" Zhao Guiying shouted in disbelief. "How dare this kid get involved with you!"
"Looks like you recognize me." Liu Changqing chuckled. "Do I need to explain what I do to you?"
"Teacher Liu, I can do this myself."
Shen Qian suddenly spoke and then walked towards Zhao Guiying.
"Come on, kick me again."
Shen Qian limped over to Zhao Guiying and stopped in front of her, then spoke.
Zhao Guiying stared at Shen Qian with resentment, without saying a word.
"Kick me."
He repeated it again before sinking.
Kick me!
Shen Qian suddenly roared, and Zhao Guiying's body trembled. She screamed and kicked out.
But her legs froze in mid-air; she gasped for breath, unable to kick down.
Shen Qian stood quietly, letting Zhao Guiying's expression change. Seeing that she still dared not make any further moves, Shen Qian sneered, "Nothing special."
Bang!
Shen Qian kicked out hard with his intact left leg, slamming it into Zhao Guiying's right leg.
Click!
With a scream, Zhao Guiying, her leg bones shattered, collapsed to the ground, her face deathly pale.
"Your cultivation at the third level of beginner martial artist is far superior to Chai Mushui's."
Having vented his resentment, Shen Qian made a comment and walked back to Liu Changqing's side.
"You don't need me to deal with that Zhao Xin guy anymore, right?" Liu Changqing asked.
“No need.” Shen Qian shook his head. “With those two gone, he’s no longer a threat. I can handle him.”
Liu Changqing nodded, grabbed Zhao Guiying with a casual gesture, and then, with Shen Qian in tow, leaped out of the window and returned to the courtyard.
No one knows where Liu Changqing found the rope, but he had Shen Qian tie Zhao Guangshou and Zhao Guiying together, and then carried them in his hands like dumplings.
"It's reasonable to help you vent your anger by making a scene today, but it's not legal, so this matter needs to be settled. Let's go."
Liu Changqing said something and was about to leave with Shen Qian when he seemed to remember something. He turned around and shouted in the direction of the office building, "How much did the repairs cost? Go to the Tower of Babel and I'll reimburse you... Remember to get an invoice!"
After saying that, Liu Changqing, carrying Shen Qian and the "zongzi" (rice dumpling), soared into the sky once again and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
