Chapter 66 None of you can teach him

I felt very uneasy before sinking.

One reason is Gao Wenyuan's status.

On the other hand, it was because, for the first time before sinking, he felt nervous about "what if his secret was discovered?"

Even Shi Dingyan could hear through the walls and easily know the conversation between him and Liu Changqing in the elevator. Who knows what kind of extent Gao Wenyuan could do?

The three of them, each with their own thoughts, entered the elevator, and Shi Dingyan pressed the button for their floor.

Before sinking, he realized that the Tower of Babel had 99 floors according to the elevator, and Shi Dingyan had pressed the button for the 99th floor.

The three remained silent as the elevator ascended. Shen Qian could tell that Liu Changqing had originally wanted to say something to him but gave up, and then wanted to say something to Shi Dingyan but gave up with a cold snort.

Soon, the elevator arrived at the 99th floor. Shen Qian followed the two out of the elevator, only to find that unlike Shi Dingyan's 17th floor, this was the 99th floor...

It's still a bare shell.

Shi Dingyan seemed to see through Chen Qian's doubts and smiled, "Many floors of the Tower of Babel are uninhabited, so they haven't been renovated. The 99th floor is no exception. As for the teacher... he's upstairs."

Shen looked towards the empty center of the floor and, sure enough, there was a separate small staircase leading to the next floor. He was relieved.

The three of them went up another floor along the winding staircase. As soon as they stepped out of the stairwell, a biting wind hit them, causing Chen Qian, who was caught off guard, to stumble and lose his footing.

"This is already very high up. Jingcheng's weather regulation system is hidden in the clouds above your head. This wind is generated by the engine. If you go any further, it will stop."

Shi Dingyan's voice rang in his ears, and Shen Qian followed his advice and took a short step forward. Sure enough, the surroundings became calm again.

Shen Qian then opened his squinted eyes and looked around, and was immediately shocked.

The place where he was located was an incredibly vast platform, much wider than the floors below, which did not conform to the logic that the top of the tower is narrower.

Looking up, there were thick clouds and a sky that seemed within reach. Dark shadows loomed within the clouds, with faint traces of metal visible. Above Shen Qian's head, a turbine with a diameter of 100 meters was spinning wildly, yet eerily silent.

"Is this Jingcheng's weather control system?"

Shen Qian glanced at it curiously a few more times. He remembered that when he was in elementary school, because he had never seen snow before, he had mobilized his classmates to write a joint letter and send it to the newspaper, hoping to ask the Marquis of Jingcheng to send snow.

Less than a month later, it really snowed in Jingcheng.

It was probably from that time on that Marquis of Jingcheng, Gao Wenyuan, became an omnipotent god in his heart.

Although it was later learned that the weather in Jingcheng was regulated by the weather system and that it was not the Marquis of Jingcheng who made it snow, the fact that such a person could respond to a child's wish was legendary in itself.

The roof is simply against the blue sky, but the layout on the platform is not monotonous and is quite novel.

Fine grass carpets the ground, pebbles pave the path, and a stream flows across the platform, seemingly without beginning or end, yet its waters murmur gently.

Peach trees are planted randomly every ten meters or so along the stream. Under the peach trees, you can see modern bookshelves, chairs, and even computer desks.

Several cats and dogs of different breeds chased after him, circled around the sinkhole once, and then ran away.

It seems the big shot still loves life.

Shen Qian's tension eased somewhat, and as he followed Shi Dingyan and Liu Changqing, they finally saw the legendary figure in an open space at the edge of the platform.

Marquis Gao Wenyuan of Jingcheng, dressed in a long white suit, sat with his back to the three men on a black sofa at the edge of the platform, quietly looking down at the Tower of Babel.

He had short, jet-black hair and looked no more than forty or fifty from the side. He had handsome features and resembled a dashing older man from a TV drama.

As the three approached, Gao Wenyuan's magnetic voice rang out: "You haven't seen Jingcheng from this angle before, have you? Come here and take a look."

Although no names were mentioned, Shen Qian subconsciously knew that Gao Wenyuan was talking to him.

Slightly stunned, Chen Qian took a deep breath and walked over.

Not daring to stand shoulder to shoulder with Gao Wenyuan, she stepped back a step and cautiously peeked out to look down.

The faint fog dissipated quickly as the camera head sank forward, revealing buildings of varying heights and tiny cars moving along streets that were either neat or uneven.

"How does it feel?" Gao Wenyuan asked.

"The scenery is nice, but you can't see people clearly because it's too high up," Shen Qian replied honestly.

It's at least 500 meters above the ground here.

"That's right, if you can't see the people clearly, you can't see the rules either."

Gao Wenyuan said calmly, "Changqing, I'm punishing you by making you face the wall in the underground cave for three days."

Shen Qian then realized that Gao Wenyuan was using his words to warn Liu Changqing, and immediately fell silent.

"Teacher, I accept your punishment, even though I don't think I did anything wrong by acting chivalrously and bravely..."

"But you have to be the judge! That guy surnamed Shi actually tried to steal my disciple and even said I couldn't teach him. That's outrageous! Teacher, you have to make the decision!"

Liu Changqing immediately started shouting.

Just as Shi Dingyan was about to explain, Gao Wenyuan gently raised his hand, and Shi Dingyan immediately shut up, leaving Shen Qian, who had been hoping to see the big shots fight over him, somewhat disappointed.

"None of you can teach him."

With a casual remark, Gao Wenyuan drew a conclusion for both of them.

Liu Changqing was stunned, while Shi Dingyan tentatively asked, "Teacher, what do you mean?"

"I'll do it."

All three of them were stunned.

Did I hear that right...?

All three of them shared the same thought.

"Teacher... are you also trying to steal my apprentice?"

After holding it in for a long time, Liu Changqing blurted out a sentence.
