Chapter 81 Strange Twist

The round-faced girl was taken aback at first, thinking she had misheard, but when her colleagues turned around to look, she realized that the notification sound was not a hallucination.

"Someone broke the record on the basic level?"

Many people gathered around, marveling at the sight.

"This is a very rare thing..."

"The last time the record was broken was probably two years ago, right?"

"It should be the Narrow Pass. I remember the highest rating for this level is only S. I guess some genius came out of nowhere and got two S ratings."

Some people speculated on this, which drew nods of agreement from many others.

Although they are just ordinary researchers, they have often witnessed the extreme operations of various martial arts geniuses and are very familiar with the situation of each level. Statistically speaking, the possibility of "a narrow passage" is indeed the highest.

"Ah Ying, hurry up and open it!"

The round-faced girl called Aying was also a little excited. She quickly clicked on the information bar that had just popped up, and a page displaying data appeared.

"I knocked, and it's actually the 'Bronze Men Formation'?"

"Wow, three S's, is it for real...?"

Many people, however, were shocked by the bright red "SSS".

"What's different about the 3S?" Ah Ying asked blankly.

She knew that SSS represented the highest rating in the simulation game, but there was clearly something else she didn't know.

"If you knew how many times the 'SSS' rating has been given since the simulator was developed 170 years ago, you wouldn't react this way."

The data team leader said in a complicated tone.

"How many times?" Ah Ying asked subconsciously.

"Twenty-three times..." After saying that, the team leader added, "Moreover, this is the total number of all levels combined."

All levels...

Ah Ying was somewhat dazed.

The total number of levels in the martial arts simulator is at least close to two hundred.

Across the country, countless martial artists attempt to pass the levels every day, generating nearly a million data points for each level. Multiplying that by a million over a hundred years creates an astronomical number that is terrifying.

Despite such a large number of achievements, there have only been twenty-three SSS ratings in history, demonstrating just how difficult it is to achieve an SSS rating.

"What's even more remarkable is that this is a basic level."

The team leader sighed, "Of the seven basic levels, apart from the bronze man formation we're facing now, only the wooden dummy has ever produced an SSS rating."

"Think about it, are there more high-level martial artists or low-level martial artists?"

Seeing Ah Ying's confusion, a colleague next to her laughed and said, "Anyone below the ninth level of the beginner martial arts realm can pass through the Bronze Man Formation, but how many people can pass through some of the higher-level challenges?"

Ah Ying suddenly realized that this was still a probability problem caused by cardinality.

"I think the most difficult part is still the 'Bronze Man Formation' itself!"

This viewpoint immediately garnered support from many people.

"That's right. Back then, those stubborn monks from Shaolin Temple, in order to prove that they were the origin of martial arts, completely ignored the advice of the research and development center and made a mere basic level three stars in difficulty!"

"That's right, the ultimate form of the Bronze Man Formation is not something that ordinary beginner martial artists can pass. Even 'Z' from Su Ke Martial Arts University, with his talent, spent months honing his skills before finally achieving an SS rating..."

"Even this was suspected of cheating by Shaolin Martial Arts University. You wouldn't believe it, they even formed a special investigation team..."

"Cough cough!"

The team leader coughed, interrupting the conversation, "Alright, Ying, quickly check who broke the record; we need to apply for an award."

"Probably someone from one of the top four universities again..."

"It's hard to say. What if it's one of those military academies?"

People speculated freely.

"This martial artist's username is 'Dried-up Confusion'."

Ah Ying clicked on more detailed information and then introduced it.

The group exchanged bewildered glances; the ID was unfamiliar, they'd never heard of it before…

This doesn't make sense.

"User registration and frequently used address are in Jingcheng..."

"Jingcheng? Which Jingcheng?"

The team leader was taken aback, and the others were also somewhat puzzled.

"Jingcheng is a second-tier city in the first province of Southwest China. Its best university is Jingcheng Martial Arts University, which was established a few years ago. Its honorary president is the Marquis of Jingcheng. However, in the official evaluation of the Ministry of Education, Jingcheng Martial Arts University is only a second-tier university..."

Soon someone pulled up Jingcheng's information and read it aloud.

"Wow, is this a phoenix emerging from a remote mountain village? How could a second-tier martial arts college have such a genius?"

"Perhaps it has some connection with Marquis Jingcheng, who knows?"

"I just don't know what year of college they are..."

As everyone was still reminiscing, Ah Ying, finally snapping out of her daze, weakly raised her hand and said, "That... isn't university."

"Huh?" Everyone was taken aback. The team leader seemed to realize something and asked, "Could it be a martial arts gym?"

"It is... Jingcheng No. 7 Middle School."

Inside the monitoring hall, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

After an unknown amount of time, everyone came to their senses and showed expressions of disbelief.

"Middle school?!"

"Are you kidding me!"

Are you sure you didn't see it wrong?

Some were even more impatient, pushing Ah Ying aside and going forward to check on her themselves.

"Is it really a middle school...and a high school student? Could the equipment be malfunctioning?"

After confirming it, the person exclaimed in surprise.

"Idiot, the checkpoints are connected to the network, how could an instrument malfunction affect the data?"

"But this is just too outrageous!"
