The sky above the narrow valley cleared up again, and the beautiful sunset shone in, illuminating the Yuezhi people who were still beaming with joy.
Moon Wolf and several strong young men from the tribe reacted quickly, leaping up nimbly to catch the five children before they fell.
After a brief silence, led by Moon Wolf, everyone cheered, then knelt on the ground, shouting something loudly, except for...
...The Yuezhi with furrowed brows and the Yuejun with lingering doubt on its face.
"Why does the serpent god's voice sound somewhat familiar..." Yuejun thought blankly, but couldn't figure it out for a moment.
The Yuezhi quickly calmed down. She picked up a long stick from the ground and stomped on it. The Yuezhi people then stopped their excitement and got up one after another.
They were still having a strange conversation, seemingly wondering why the snake god hadn't appeared.
The Yuezhi then spoke a few words loudly, as if explaining and comforting, and the group of people were relieved.
Led by the young and strong, the Yuezhi people dispersed, their faces still showing signs of excitement.
"Chieftain, is the Snake God really still alive?"
The Moon Falcon ran to the side of the Yuezhi and asked excitedly. The Moon Wolf also came over and looked at the Yuezhi tribe expectantly.
The Yuezhi glanced deeply at the stone house in a certain direction behind him, but did not answer Yuejun's question. He turned and walked into the depths of the clan.
Moon Falcon was somewhat bewildered, but she quickly remembered something and turned to run towards the stone house where she lived before Moon Wolf could speak.
The door was pushed open, but the room was empty.
"Have they left...?"
Not seeing Chen Qian's figure, Yue Jun felt a strange sense of loss.
For some reason, she always felt that there was something special about Shen Qian that attracted her, but she didn't know what it was.
Moon Wolf walked over and stood at the door. He seemed to understand something from Moon Falcon's expression. He said incredulously, "You actually let that stranger of unknown origin into your room?"
"He's human too!"
Moonhawk, however, did not see anything wrong with it.
Moon Wolf snorted coldly, glanced at the empty room, and sneered, "So cowardly, he must have run away when God Qi appeared."
Moon Falcon instinctively wanted to refute, but remained silent. Just as Moon Wolf was about to speak again, a voice came from behind.
Has that deity left?
Yuejun turned around, somewhat surprised yet delighted, "Shenqian, you didn't leave?"
Shen Qian, whose face still held a thoughtful expression, shook his head.
"Moon Falcon, did you tell him about the clan's secret passage?"
Moon Wolf noticed the dirt on Shen Qian's body. After a brief moment of stunned silence, he realized what had happened and his expression turned extremely grim.
"Shenqian, did you hear the Snake God's voice just now?"
As Yuejun was speaking, he suddenly froze.
She seemed to suddenly realize something, and stared at Shen Qian with wide eyes.
Moon Wolf, oblivious to his own rage, said, "You can't discuss the Serpent God with outsiders, Moon Falcon, have you forgotten again...?"
"Can you take me to see the clan chief?"
Shen Qian ignored Yue Lang and looked at Yue Jun, who was still in a daze, and said, "I have some questions I would like to ask her."
