That night.
A black silken curtain hung over the sky, obscuring even a single star; the deep darkness seemed to foreshadow something.
The city remained brightly lit, with passing vehicles occasionally kicking up gusts of wind.
Silently, the gate of Yulin Company slowly opened, and two figures walked in.
"My lord, all the believers are ready."
Qin Sheng led Yu Rui into Yulin Company and pressed the elevator button again, but this time it went down.
In the enclosed space, Qin Sheng suddenly spoke.
"After the mission is completed, with your current strength, you can also join the Kaitian Academy."
Yu Rui asked, "Sir, will you go?"
Most likely.
"Then I will go as well."
Qin Sheng nodded and said nothing more, waiting for the elevator to continue its downward journey.
With a ding, the door opened, revealing a pitch-black space.
"Sir, please."
He lifted his foot, and his gleaming leather shoe landed on the ground with a crisp sound.
Bang bang bang…
As he stepped inside, flames suddenly ignited on the walls, spreading outwards and illuminating the entire space.
The appearance of the light also illuminated the figures around them.
The cultists, each with a different appearance and the characteristics of different strange beasts, knelt on the ground with their heads bowed, presenting a chaotic scene of demons dancing.
Blood began to seep from Yu Rui's body, forming a long dress as she followed behind Qin Sheng.

Qin Sheng walked unhurriedly towards the central platform, glancing around with a hint of surprise in his eyes.
Did he actually conduct so many experiments?
Upon reaching the high platform, Qin Sheng recognized some of the closest figures.
After all, the potion they were taking contained the remains of high-level alien beasts; it was specially made to prepare for tomorrow's plan and was an extremely crucial part of it.
To this end, Qin Sheng did his best to preserve their unique characteristics, allowing them to unleash their full potential.
As he stood in the center, Yu Rui also came in front of him and knelt down on one knee.
At the same time, all the believers spoke in unison, as if they had rehearsed countless times.
"We walk in darkness, we forge a path!"
The believers all raised their heads, their eyes of various colors gleaming in the firelight, focusing on the figure on the high platform.
"We will lead the world!"
"Marching Towards a New Beginning!!!"
Qin Sheng's expression froze, and he turned to look at Yu Rui, his eyes seeming to ask a question.
What the hell is this?!
Is he praising himself?
Yu Rui blushed and nodded, whispering, "My lord, this is what I should do."
Qin Sheng: ...
Oh no, this is starting to look more and more like a cult...
Having shouted all the slogans, he could only nod indifferently and speak slowly.
"Get up, everyone."
With permission granted, the believers stood up, their eyes burning with fervor as they gazed at the figure on the platform.

"Do you know why you're hiding here?" Qin Sheng asked, uttering a completely nonsensical question.
"Do you know why you've never seen genetic experiments, and why humans consider it taboo?"
Qin Sheng said with a playful tone, "Because our predecessors failed, and failed miserably."
"Not only did it fail to enable humans to master the power of the beasts, it also created a beast with intelligence, causing enormous disaster."
His deep gaze swept over each believer.
“But I’m different, and you’re even more different.”
“Each of you has wielded the power of the beasts with your own reason, and each of you is a successful case in the past.”
He paused.
"Each one is a step toward salvation."
Some believers who still had doubts and fears were stunned at this moment.
I thought he was just a meaningless experiment, a failed experiment.
Unexpectedly, the power they possessed was the result of past experiments that had failed, and it truly represented a step towards the future!
Qin Sheng changed the subject: "But humans are already afraid, and no longer believe that they can control the power of the alien beasts."
He sighed.
"As you just said, the road ahead is dark, full of slander and doubt."
"but!"
Qin Sheng's tone became impassioned.
"Believe in the real power within you! It is the piece of the puzzle that can reclaim the world from the beasts! It is the path to rebirth!"
"It is also proof of the Creation Church."
As the last sentence fell, the believers' eyes were now fixed on that dark figure.
"Creationism!"
"Creative Creation Cult!!!" xN!
Qin Sheng's lips twitched. This wasn't just a cult, it was a pyramid scheme!
Qin Sheng lightly pressed down with his hand and said calmly.
"Proceed according to plan tomorrow. You may die, or you may stand on the opposite side of Kaitian City, but remember, these are all necessary sacrifices for exploring the darkness."
"In the future, you will leave a significant mark on history."
After Qin Sheng finished speaking, he turned around and left with his last words.
"Let's begin."
The cultists at the front nodded to each other and, according to plan, led their followers out of the underground space, where they lay in wait in the darkness.
