Chapter 396 Truth and Falsehood

Su Cheng slowly retracted his leg, followed by a loud bang!

If the anchor point hadn't blocked that kick, it might have killed the original owner!

As he climbed out of the shattered boulders, the original owner squinted, feeling a pervasive killing intent. At this point, there was no way out!

Su Cheng gathered his strength and swung a sword light in the direction the original owner was coming from, then turned the sword to catch the giant scythe that was heading straight for his face.

Chu Youwei's skills were no joke. With graceful movements, she swung like a swing, dodging Su Cheng's giant sword. She drew her sword from her waist and lunged forward, her long sword aimed straight at Su Cheng's chest.

But this power to destroy the world is no joke either. Su Cheng kicked the blade, and the giant sword flipped in front of him, forcing Chu Youwei, who thought she had found an opportunity, to retreat!

But that's not enough. Su Cheng needs Chu Youwei to stay away from him!

As the giant sword spun around, Su Cheng struck the blade with his palm, causing it to slide straight across and slam heavily onto the frail body.

As a punishment, this is sufficient.

Su Cheng doesn't have that much time to waste on Chu Youwei. It's time to end things between him and this real Su Cheng.

He flashed past Chu Youwei, then drew Zero Two and instantly slashed horizontally with his sword!

"Part the clouds!"

This is the first supernatural power that Su Cheng has used so far. The rest seem to be things like downward slash and upward slash from the Frost Sword Technique, or aerial slash.

After all, it's unnecessary to deal with those small fry.

The sword energy swept across the sky, even severing light. Wherever it passed, metal and stone were shattered, and not a blade of grass grew!

The sword energy stretched for thousands of miles, traversing the nine heavens. In a true sense, it cleared the clouds, leaving the sky cloudless!

Even with all its might to resist, and even with its anchor point positioned above all living beings, it ultimately appears somewhat powerless in the face of forces beyond the world.

The immortal robe, resembling a beggar's garment, was stained with blood. His internal organs were shattered, and the original owner could only rely on his true energy to protect his heart meridian, barely managing to stand up.

He never expected that a mere imposter could shatter his dignity with a single sword strike.

"Impossible! This is impossible! I am at the Nascent Soul stage! I have a celestial artifact! This is impossible!"

Looking at the mess around him, the original owner never expected it to end like this.

No one could restrain those three protégés, nor could anyone suppress Zero Two.

"Cheng Liang! You betrayed me! It was you! You betrayed me!"

Cheng Liang didn't speak, but Shangguan Rou stepped forward and spoke.

"You're the imposter! Do you think we can't see through you?"

Hearing this, everything became very clear: losers are destined to be abandoned!

But he was unwilling to accept it. Why should he?

That man stole his life; it should all have been his!

"You can't kill me! The Immortal Venerable will save me! You can't kill me!"

The fact that these words were spoken made it quite obvious that the original owner had also realized the difference in strength.

This is a power far beyond what mortals can comprehend. Even with a celestial artifact, he is no match for Su Cheng.

Su Cheng was amused: "Hehe, the immortal you're talking about is called Stealing Jade and Stealing Fragrance, right?"

"That's right! I am the Immortal Venerable's person! You can't kill me! The Immortal Venerable will not let you get away with this!"

Su Cheng felt that this guy was a bit too confident. He was probably being treated like a dog, yet he thought that people liked him.

Who is the big fox?

How long have he known the big fox? He and the big fox have known each other since they were children!

Those big foxes are all my people, and you're saying you're one of them?

"Then call her to come and save you. It just so happens that I haven't seen her for a while."

As for not letting him go? Hah, it's not like releasing the original fox would make them forgive him...

The giant sword named Zero Two rested on the original owner's neck. Su Cheng's eyes no longer held that bloodthirsty madness, but had returned to their usual calmness, though now they were filled with more contempt.

To Su Cheng's surprise, he saw a fear of death in the original owner of this body.

In this respect, Su Cheng felt that he was quite different from the original owner of the body; the man in front of him was nothing like him.

Su Cheng felt nothing but resentment at death.

Those who survive this war against the gods must carry on the glory and courage of the deceased and continue to live.

Today's peace was bought with the lives of countless heroes. The so-called defense line is a wall built with corpses. A casualty ratio of 57 to 1 is hardly a victory in any war.

This means that an attack launched by ten hunters would require the lives of five hundred and seventy people to be sacrificed.

Even so, this rare peace is not eternal.

Only by completely rewriting the rules can the world they once lived in, the world before them, and countless similar worlds, usher in true peace.

To put it another way, Su Cheng was afraid to die, and he didn't know how to face his deceased old friends.

He couldn't bring himself to tell them that their trusted lord had failed.

There was no turning back from the very beginning of this war.

Su Cheng has a solution, especially after seeing Li Shiyao pause time. Su Cheng has truly discovered the difference in this world and has seen hope in reviving them!

The dark-colored sword blade, pieced together from building blocks, actually has no sharp edge, but it looks like it could kill someone if you hit it.

Zero Two was held back by the anchor point, which was meaningless, but ultimately the original owner could not accept death calmly.

"Youwei! Kill this imposter!"

Seeing that the sword blade formed from the black mist had already slashed his neck, the original owner had no choice but to take a gamble, hoping that Chu Youwei would continue to act.
