"You're saying I scared you to death?"
Kuro, recalling his earlier words, didn't stop sheathing his sword. He raised an eyebrow and said to William, "So, you've seen me fight before?"
William, finding himself unharmed, gripped his rapier tightly and grinned maliciously, "Of course! I witnessed you, at two years old, wipe out the pirate crew, but I also owe it to you. I spent a lot of time in the East Blue, though I now realize that all that time was wasted!"
Don't worry, he wasn't hurt. After all, he's a Logia-type, and a Logia-type with Haki. Few people can hurt him easily.
So now, it's time to make Kuro suffer!
"Oh, I see. No wonder there was an extra old coward..."
Kuro nodded in realization, then said, "Having seen what I've done, can't you hear me now?"
"What did you hear?!" William thrust out his sword and roared menacingly.
"Of course I heard it..."

The blade is sheathed.
laugh!!!
William's body froze, and a huge cloud of blood mist burst from his chest, spraying forward, causing him to sway and his eyes to widen in horror.
"The soft sound of the divine wind," Kuro uttered calmly.
Thump!
At that moment, William collapsed face down, his chest heaving, blood flowing profusely from the wound, staining the deck beneath him red.
Kuro walked up to him and looked down at him. The sun was now completely blocked by his head, and Kuro's face was shrouded in shadow in William's view.
"If we could believe everything in the newspapers, the world would be at peace long ago. A fifth emperor? What is that?"
