Chapter 1132 The Navy's Face King and the Pirate's Face King

The ocean is vast, and even the Grand Line, a sea area named after a 'sea route', is extremely large.

The seas of the New World are the most dangerous seas in the world. Due to the magnetic field, sea kings from the surrounding calm zone come more frequently than in the first half of the world. As the seas with the most unstable climate, they are also accompanied by some unique phenomena that are almost 'miraculous'.

Lightning, thunder, wind, and snow are nothing compared to this.

The rare 'rainbow fog' phenomenon in the first half of the story is not common in the New World, but it is certainly not rare.

Who knows, a towering ocean current might suddenly appear somewhere, sending you flying directly to a sky island.

But snakes have their ways, and rats have theirs. For people living in the new world and still able to make a living, such a climate is not unbearable.

Of course, the navy also has a set of methods for identifying climate and maritime security.

On the sea, a golden object is gradually moving forward.

Upon closer inspection, it was an enormous golden ship, as large as an ordinary fortress. The hull was covered with a series of fortresses, all equipped with cannons, and the prow was a magnificent golden lion's head.

The Golden Lion, Kuro's flagship.

Beneath the wide, street-like fortress complex, a large number of naval personnel moved about, maintaining the basic operation of the flagship. In the largest fortress above, in the office on the top platform, Kuro sat on a large chair that resembled a throne, leaning back against it, his fingers tapping idly on the armrest.

Before him, Kuro held a report and asked, "Mr. Kuro, is it unnecessary to summon the Seven Warlords of the Sea?"

Before setting off, Kuro instructed Koro to verify the true situation in Wano Country.

Because he is the captain-general of his 'Sword', and in Wano Country, there is a squad leader there, who is also one of the 'Flying Six'.

'Red Flag' Drake.

Their navy also has personnel who infiltrate enemy lines.

However, the result of the investigation surprised Kuro greatly.

The battle is currently very chaotic. The Flying Six are all struggling to survive. Apart from Jack the Drought, who was killed by Kuro, the other two calamities are exactly as the Navy received from CP0, being held back by the Straw Hat Pirates. Kaido and Linlin are also in a tough fight.

It was a real, hard-fought battle, not a sham.

This made Kuro take it very seriously, although he was still a little skeptical. After all, Drake's skill level was limited, and he couldn't really tell what a real hard-fought battle was.

Based on Kuro's habits, Kuro asked whether to summon the Seven Warlords of the Sea just to be on the safe side.

These combat forces are too valuable to be wasted.

Kuro thought for a moment and said, "No need. The Seven Warlords of the Sea are currently maintaining stability. We need to consider the impact of the outbreak in Wano Country. Most of our forces should remain in our Navy's base."

Just in case, it's best to stay there and wait to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.

"We're going to fight Kaido and Charlotte Linlin!"

Lida, who was battling with a pile of snacks on the sofa, looked up and said excitedly, "You didn't take me with you when you went to Wano Country last time, but I'm going to go this time!"

"What's so interesting about it!"

Kuro glared at her and said:

"Let me tell you, once you arrive in Wano Country, your most important task is to protect yourselves. Don't think that Haki will necessarily protect you. This time, our infiltration will be no less dangerous than the Marineford War. Although we won't be directly involved in the battle, don't concentrate your firepower here. What kind of people are in Wano Country? Two groups of pirates are fighting, and the rest of the people are on one side or another. But in the end, aren't they all pirates?"

They're pirates no matter what, but these are marines. If they break in, they might get focused down.

"Besides, don't you know how risky the battle against the Four Emperors is? Last time we were dealing with Teach, if I hadn't reacted quickly, you would have been gone, you know that?"

Kuro continued, "And Shanks, if Mihawk hadn't wanted to fencing with me that time, I might have ended up fighting him. Don't ask why, it's just that I have a bad temper. Seriously, he can't just bully me like that, where would I put my pride?"

"Red hair..."

Kro thought for a moment and said, "I don't know what he's doing. There's been no news of him on the high seas. As one of the Four Emperors, he's been holding back for too long lately."

"Being a charlatan, what else can you do?"

Kuro scoffed, "He keeps saying he'll protect and lead the era, but how old is he? He's 41 this year, still in his prime. Straw Hat Luffy is old enough to be his son, yet he's already pinning his hopes on the next generation. He's one of the Four Emperors, yet he acts like an old turtle charlatan. With such a big incident happening this time, if he's not stupid, he must have received the information. I'm on my way now, and he might intercept me halfway, just like he did with Kaido back at Marineford. I wonder what he's thinking."

Kuro is the most unfathomable person when it comes to Shanks' thoughts.

He intercepted Kaido back then, and then went to Marineford to stop the war, acting like he was a savior.

He's a pirate!

Why should pirates be saviors? The Navy is the real savior.

Whoosh!

Just then, a flash of white light appeared in the office.

Moore flashed in, his face somewhat grave. "Kuro, something bad has happened."

"Huh?" Kuro looked over, his gaze sweeping over the person in front of him, and suddenly froze, his eyes widening as he jumped up.

Kro's pupils contracted as he stared intently at the floor-to-ceiling window in front of him. From this vantage point, they could see everything around them, including the small dot approaching directly in front of them—a phantom of a ship.
