Kuro?
Hearing Marco's shout, Chopper, who was making medicine, subconsciously glanced in that direction. At that single glance, his entire body—not quite human—jumped up, exclaiming in surprise:
"It's General Incense Burner!!"
Kuro's face fell. "I am Jin Ni! Say it again, Jin Ni!"
Chopper asked in surprise, "Huh? Didn't they say he was a vice admiral?"
Kuro stiffened his neck. "Is this what you're focusing on?!"
call!
A gust of wind blew up, and the frost on the half-blue demons turned into white wisps of air that swept towards Kuro, where they were absorbed by a curvaceous woman.
"Alright! Alright!"
The pirates and samurai stretched their bodies and found that they no longer felt cold, so they all cheered.
"this..."
Chopper gaped, completely bewildered. He had been painstakingly crafting medicine, and now Ice Demon had vanished?
"Yo, Dr. Tanuki, it's been a long time."
Fanny raised her hand in greeting, the movement causing her ample bosom to tremble, dazzling to the eye.
"It's a reindeer, you bastard!"
Chopper instinctively called out, then looked at Fanny and quickly remembered her, "Ah! You're the doctor who couldn't remember the medication!"
They had crossed paths in Chambord back then.
"Did you add Golden Herbs to your Hunger Pill? It's much better than adding Shaking Herbs, isn't it?" Chopper thought of the pill he had pointed out as having the wrong ingredient.
Fanny nodded and said, "You mean the 'Strength Pill' from the Navy? It's been added. Excellent, thank you, Dr. Tanuki."
Chopper's eyes crinkled into wavy lines with laughter, and he swayed his body back and forth. "It's a reindeer, you bastard~"
Sazir, standing to the side, looked at him strangely. "Strength pills? Don't those things have the side effect of making you lose your appetite?"
He remembered this most clearly: Fanny confidently said that her 'strength pill' was perfected and would not make people hungry. After taking it, in addition to becoming stronger, people would also stay full.
At the time, Sazir didn't know what came over him, but he believed Fanny's nonsense and actually went to try the drug. As a result, he did become stronger and didn't feel hungry, so there seemed to be no problem.
But I never feel hungry. The feeling of fullness is too strong. I can't eat anything for several days in a row. But where will the nutrients that the human body needs to absorb come from if I don't eat?
With increased strength, the body's energy was depleted even faster. The pill's positive effects only lasted half an hour, while the side effects could last for several days. Helpless, Sazir had to go for an IV drip to get through that period of side effects.
The pills are better than starving, but the side effects are not without flaws; at the very least, they are quite problematic.
Fanny looked up and said, "It's already much better. I'm already correcting my mistakes. Even Admiral Kuro praised the pill, saying it's a great weight-loss medicine!"
Why are you still so proud?
You're a doctor! Your medicine has serious side effects! Don't you feel ashamed?
Sazir opened his mouth as if to say something, but then realized that Fanny had always lived like this, and he didn't know what to say.
Marco timely salvaged the awkward situation by asking again:
"Hey, Kuro, you still haven't answered my question. Why are you here? Your Navy never sets foot in the latter half of the New World. What are you doing here?"
Kuro chuckled lightly: "You seem to have no idea? Marco, you're an old hand at sea. Don't forget that there was a time when the navy's footprints were all over the world. There are precedents for entering the second half of this era."
Decades ago, the navy was indeed all over the world, but there were too many pirates, and they couldn't stand fighting pirates all the time. In the end, under the intervention of the World Government, they gave up the second half of the Grand Line and focused their attention on the first half and the four seas. That's why it was called the 'New World'.
Marco shrugged and shook his head, saying, "Hey, are you trying to use this opportunity to arrest everyone here? Aren't you afraid of starting a war among all the pirates?"
"Don't be so serious, Marco."
Kuro grinned, revealing a glint of white light. "At least if you don't resist, I might let you go back and continue your fight with Teach. He hasn't been doing well lately, so you have a chance to get revenge instead of getting involved in Wano Country's mess."
Upon hearing this, Marco narrowed his glasses, his pineapple-shaped hairstyle shifted, and he glanced back at Chopper, then looked up at the top of the castle tower behind him, before turning back to face Kuro and sighing.
"No, that won't work."
He shook his head, his tone relaxed: "Well, I'm already here, and Izo is here too. If I leave now, Izo will scold me."
"Oh..."
Kuro placed his left hand on the hilt of his sword, his gaze gradually sharpening. "You're not moving aside?"
"Well, that's hard to say," Marco said softly. "Anyway, thank you for your people removing the Ice Demon, which allows me to fight freely."
Without these ice demons, he no longer needed Qingyan to maintain the treatment, freeing up his hands.
We definitely can't win in a fight, but if we can stall, we can definitely win.
Pirates who originally belonged to the Beasts Pirates and samurai from Wano Country suddenly stepped forward and shouted, "We'll help you!"
"You bought us time and kept us alert, so we're on your side!"
"Yeah, so what if they're from the navy? They can't get in!"
The pirates gripped their weapons, each one facing the Navy with a fighting spirit.
