Chapter 1155 One After Another

As Sazel dropped the pebble and then pulled out a Den Den Mushi to make a call, Moore was instantly teleported there in a flash of white light.

"It's only been a few minutes. Uncle, I was just about to set up my bed on the floor to rest. Do I have to get back to work already?"

The white light disappeared, revealing Moore's figure, scratching the back of his head with a troubled expression.

Kuro pointed at the fallen Runte and Page One, "Enough talk, take these two away."

Moore walked up to the two men, grabbed them by the waist with one hand, lifted them twice, whistled, and turned to face Kuro and the others:

"Uncle, I'm giving you a friendly reminder: don't get too drunk, whether you're a man or a woman. It's easy for someone to pick you up while you're drunk, especially for men. When you wake up, you'll find that a certain part of you hurts, and you'll go to take a shower while crying and saying things like, 'I'm so dirty.'"

Kuro rolled his eyes. "Stop joking around and get your people out of here."

"Yes, yes..."

Moore gave a perfunctory reply and was about to move when a strange sound rang out, making him twitch his ears and look to the side.

That was also a corridor, with a fork in the road ahead. There were many unconscious pirates lying on the ground, foaming at the mouth.

At the fork in the road, there were several people and a komainu (guardian dog).

Nami crouched on the ground, her eyes filled with terror, desperately covering Tama's mouth. Usopp, his back against the wall, was drenched in sweat, his finger pressed against his lips, frantically gesturing for Tama to be quiet.

Moore asked doubtfully, "Did I hear that right? There was a sound? Is someone still alive?"

Upon hearing this, Usopp almost cried; how could he be so unlucky?

Having just dealt with two of the Flying Six, they encountered a large number of Beast Pirates. Fortunately, Big Mom's Conqueror's Haki reached them, allowing him to use Tama's dumplings to subdue the Gifters and intimidate the pirates, enabling them to escape.

They thought everything was fine, and the conquered Gifters had gone to support other places. Usopp and Nami took Tama and prepared to go out first, but unfortunately, the castle was too big, each floor was ridiculously large. They walked around and found themselves lost, and ended up back in their original place.

To make matters worse, they had just turned back when they heard other noises and then saw a navy man standing at the front of the corridor, carrying Runty and Page One in his hands.

navy!

Before Usopp could react, Tama exclaimed in surprise, but luckily Nami quickly covered it up.

I just didn't expect that such a soft sound would be heard by that navy officer. Are his ears that sharp?!

And why would there be a navy?!

This is Wano Country, so what does the Navy have to do with this place?

Or did they know they were in battle with Kaido and his crew, so they came to take advantage of the situation?

Step, step...

The navy man seemed to be approaching, making footsteps.

Usopp was terrified. He and Nami exchanged a glance, and Nami gave him a look, meaning they should think of a solution quickly.

What could he possibly do?

Usopp was sweating profusely from his long nose. Hearing the footsteps grow louder, he held his breath, gritted his teeth, and opened his mouth to let out a suppressed sound:

Meow~

The voice was very high-pitched, just like a real cat's.

"Oh, it's a cat. Never mind, let's go."

Usopp heard the navy's voice, then the footsteps faded into the distance until they were no longer audible. His body relaxed, and he slumped down.

An arm reached out, and Nami silently gave him a thumbs-up, her eyes filled with gratitude.

That's right, don't you even know who I, Usopp, am!

Usopp was about to return a smug look when he turned his head and his eyes suddenly froze, staring blankly at what was behind Nami, his gaze gradually turning to terror.

Nami, drawn by Usopp's gaze, turned her head and froze in place.

Moore appeared to their side, carrying two people, a smile on his face, and whispered:

Good afternoon, everyone.

"ah!!"

The two were so frightened that their eyes rolled back, tears and snot streaming down their faces. They scrambled out of the fork in the road with the komainu and Xiaoyu. Before they could even find their way, Moore suddenly appeared in front of them.

“This road is blocked,” Moore laughed.

They screamed again and ran haphazardly toward another exit of the corridor, but stopped as soon as they reached it.

Because a group of naval captains, armed, were waiting for them there.

"Ah...who is this?"

Kuro, cigar in mouth, glanced at them. "They look familiar."

Kro frowned. "Oh? Usopp?"

Usopp and Nami froze for a moment, then simultaneously tilted their heads back and opened their mouths, as if their souls had left their bodies.

Who did they see?!

Golden Lion!

They were deeply impressed by this; they had learned a lesson from this golden lion two years earlier when they set off from Chambord.

Luffy almost died there, but luckily he met Law and was saved.

Moreover, more than half a year ago, Luffy told me that this guy had come to Wano Country and fought a big battle with Kaido. It was because of that battle that they had the opportunity to get together, and they spent more than half a year in Wano Country before officially starting the war with Kaido.

Tears streamed down Nami's face as she sobbed, "No! I haven't lived enough! I haven't become the richest woman, I haven't bought enough beautiful clothes, and I haven't drawn a complete world map..."
