The four people, along with a little girl, jumped off the komainu (guardian dog) and disappeared from their sight.
Kuro stared at the bottom of the hole and said in a deep voice, "Mr. Kuro, should we give chase, or continue investigating?"
Although he was a bit annoyed by Usopp, their main purpose in coming here wasn't to find someone to capture. Judging from what the woman had said earlier, there was something even more exciting up there, and it would be easy to snag a bargain.
He could still distinguish between their tasks; they were there to investigate, and then he would decide whether to take action.
"You make the decision, I'll go up and take a look."
Kuro looked up at the top of the hole, a smirk playing on his lips. "Fifth floor? Perfect, saves me the trouble of finding the stairs."
As he spoke, he rose into the air and flew towards the hole in the ceiling.
Yamato opened up the castle from top to bottom, which saved Kuro some trouble, since the atmosphere here was too dense and mixed to be detected with Observation Haki. However, Yamato's words revealed that Kaido was on the fifth floor.
Kaido and Linlin—whoever they find, that's who they'll be. Now that Kaido's location has been exposed, Kuro will definitely have to go check it out.
Seeing Kuro leave, Kuro said in a deep voice, "Saziel!"
"Yes!" Sazir opened his eyes and saluted sharply.
"You, Kikyo, and Fanny, take some men and continue to investigate to see if there are any important figures. Also, give me some of Moore's beacon; I'll go after Usopp and the others."
Kro quickly assigned the tasks, then looked at Lida, "Miss Lida, you..."
