In response to Kuro's roar, Luffy replied, "So you're here to stop me from taking down Kaido? Incense Burner."
"I... never mind, I'm too lazy to correct you, you idiot."
Kuro rolled his eyes, leaned against the wall, and gestured, "You guys continue. You don't mind if I watch, do you?"
"Oh ho ho ho ho, Kuro, are you here to wait for the results before you come to arrest me?" Kaido laughed loudly.
"That's what I've thought about."
Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke and said quietly, "But looking at it now, it's still uncertain who will win..."
Kaido's face darkened upon hearing this, and he shouted, "You look down on me, Kuro!"
"No, I was just surprised." Kuro shook his head.
How could he not be surprised? He was surprised by Luffy's growth and also surprised that the two of them could fight for so long.
Kuro hasn't seen the specifics, but after fighting for so long, Kaido must have used his full power form. If they've fought to that end and still haven't decided the winner, then there's something going on.
"Good that you're not stopping me, hehe..."
Luffy slammed his feet into the ground, licked his lips, and roared, "Kaido, I will defeat you!!"

Luffy yelled and jerked his neck back, pulling his head directly towards Kuro, who was watching the spectacle, before stopping. This action prevented Kaido from biting him.
