Chapter 1183 The Fire of the Soul

Bang!

The blade pierced Charlotte Linlin's burning hair, knocking her head down. Soon after, she let out a roar, turned her body, and swung Napoleon in her right hand, creating a giant windmill-like attack that slashed at Kuro in the air.

call!

But this attack only missed its target. In this environment where others were unable to move freely, and Kuro was like a fish in the ocean, it would be difficult to defeat him in this space.

Kuro dodged to the other side, flicked the Ragi in his hand, and remained silent.

The steel balloon is still just a steel balloon. Its defensive capabilities in this form are not as strong as Kaido's, but that's due to the limitations of her Devil Fruit. The Devil Fruit likely increases her power considerably, along with that specific, eerie soul attack, but that doesn't mean the old woman's defense has decreased.

Ordinary slashes still won't do anything to her.

but...

"This is my home turf. If I let you move around freely here, wouldn't I lose face?"

Kuro pulled the demon back to his waist, his left hand gripping it like a scabbard, and with one leg bent, he appeared like a ghost at the opening on Charlotte Linlin's side as she slashed backward.

"Secret Technique: A Thousand Strikes in an Instant..."

His figure quickly disappeared around Charlotte Linlin.

A crimson ball of light appeared around Charlotte Linlin in that instant, enveloping her before bursting like a bubble.

Kuro appeared on Charlotte Linlin's other side, his back to her, and with a flick of his blade, said, "Instant Hell Azure Dragon Slash!"

Hiss hiss hiss hiss!

Countless wounds suddenly appeared on Charlotte Linlin's skin, splattering blood. Under this blow, Charlotte Linlin tilted her head back, her eyes turned white, her mouth was wide open, and the white flames around her seemed to go out at this moment, dimming and losing their light.

“Mom!!” Perospero cried out, his voice filled with worry.

Mom had been fighting those two brats for many days, which had already exhausted her. Now, a heavyweight had come along. How could she possibly fight back?

"It's not over yet!"

Kuro turned around immediately, and as he did so, he put the Ragi back into his waistband, squatted slightly, and assumed an iaido stance.

"Secret Technique, One Strike to Sever All Thoughts: White Tiger Slash!"

call!

The wind was blowing, swirling around Charlotte Linlin and stirring her low-burning, fiery hair.

Just then, Charlotte Linlin suddenly opened her eyes, the white flames in them almost turning into light. With a ferocious snarl, she glared down and slammed her huge fist directly into the empty space in front of her.

The fist slammed into the air, only causing the air to vibrate erratically.

Pfft!!!

A huge gash of blood flew from her shoulder as Kuro appeared above it, smiling. "I told you, only I can come and go freely in this place."

The White Tiger Strike is a guaranteed hit, but it is essentially a straight-line, fixed-point attack. However, within this space, Kuro can freely change its direction; the disordered space gives him great convenience.

If Charlotte Linlin wants to go head-to-head like before, Kuro won't give her the chance.

Just as Kuro was about to continue his attack, he suddenly froze, his figure vanishing from the spot and reappearing far away, looking in astonishment at Charlotte Linlin's location.

There, his original spot was taken over by a burning white flame of soul.

White flames continuously erupted from Charlotte Linlin's body, and the white flames in her eye sockets rose upwards as if they were burning.

The flames continued to surge outwards, igniting all the air and making the eerie sounds created by the air currents even louder.

Charlotte Linlin let out a strange roar, opening her mouth towards Kuro's direction, "Yūsōng!!"

A beam of white flame shot out from her mouth, igniting the air and carrying a strange shockwave straight towards Kuro.

This move cannot be taken head-on...

Kuro frowned, his figure vanished, and he reappeared below Charlotte Linlin.

The white flames struck and grazed a Whitebeard Pirates captain behind them.

He was a tall, blond man with brown skin, wearing a pair of metal-jointed gloves that covered his forearms all day.

If I remember correctly, that person's name was Kingo, and he was one of the people who survived Kuro's Mukuro attack.

The mere glancing blow to Jin Guduo's shoulder caused his face to stiffen, and white flames erupted from his shoulder, instantly spreading throughout his entire body.

"Horse, Marco..."

Jin Gudu stiffly reached out to Marco, but the flames quickly burned his head, freezing his outstretched hand in place, leaving him motionless like a statue.

Thud...

The white flames enveloping him suddenly exploded, turning the surrounding air into air homies, and Jin Gudo's eyes had already lost their vitality, as if they had lost their souls...

"Was his soul burned away?" Kuro narrowed his eyes. "No, not only that..."

The living Homies leaped and thrashed about, emitting rhythmic, eerie sounds, but soon burst apart, transforming back into soul fire that spread outwards like fireworks.

If those 'fireworks' get on you, the outcome probably won't be good.

raging...

The flames around Charlotte Linlin also began to flourish, bestowing a soul upon the air around her, transforming it into tiny, sparkling flames, like a sky full of stars.

"Ma ma ma ma ma!"

Charlotte Linlin grinned maliciously: "Kuro brat, awakened power isn't something only you can do. I'm different from those newbies!"
