Cass roared so loudly that the anger contained within was visible to the naked eye, and even the white mist behind him churned several times, indicating his intense emotional fluctuations.
"What's wrong?" Wilbur asked curiously.
"Listen to yourself!"
Cass handed the headphones to Wilbur with an angry expression. Wilbur took them and put them on his head. In just a moment, he closed his eyes and smirked.
"hehe..."
Wilbur laughed as if he were having a wonderful dream. After a few minutes, he frowned, opened his eyes, and took off his headphones.
He stared at the headphones, his expression extremely complex, shifting between longing and twisted anger, before finally tilting his head back and letting out a long sigh.
"If only it were true..."
As he spoke, he loosened his grip, and the earphones fell straight down.
Seeing the earpiece fall, Inlava grimaced, lunged forward, and caught it before it fell. He rolled twice on the ground, clutching the earpiece and yelling, "What are you doing!"
"nothing..."
Wilbur looked down at Inlava and said, "I just feel that this kind of thing is of no practical use to us."
"Why bother listening if it's pointless!"
Inlava's teeth were almost crushed:
"As expected, you bastards have no idea what an ideal world is. I thought you would become like-minded, but not only did you reject my good intentions, you even tried to insult the ideal world! The World Government's lackeys are just that—the World Government's lackeys. You have no understanding of such ideals. You are not worthy!"
Upon hearing this, Cass raised his head, narrowed his eyes, and stared at Inlava, saying each word slowly and deliberately:
"We're not worthy?"
The white mist behind them was so fierce it looked like it was about to explode.
"We're not worthy?!"
Just as Inlava was about to answer, he heard Cass's voice grow louder. He instinctively looked up and saw the bearded man staring intently at him. Besides endless anger, his eyes held an indescribable meaning.
It was as if...they had been greatly insulted.
Inlava had seen that look before; whenever someone insulted Utopia at sea, these people would have the same look in their eyes, only not as intense as this bearded man's.
"We're not worthy?!"
The bearded man repeated himself, his voice rising even higher.
He stared at Inlava and said slowly, "Tell me, what do you see in this so-called utopia?"
Stared at like that, Inlava, as if possessed, obediently replied, "Of course there are many. Different races live together harmoniously, no one discriminates against anyone, and every day many people are willing to fight alongside me. On the high seas, everyone is striving together to realize our ideal world..."
"That's all?" Cass asked.
Inlava nodded, his voice softening slightly: "That's all..."
"Donald!"
Without turning his head, Cass shouted, "Grab someone and bring them to their senses!"
Donald, carrying the cross-shaped gun in one hand, turned and walked into the back. From among the defeated pirates, he picked out one who was less seriously injured, woke him up, and then brought him over.
"I'm asking you!"
Cass turned and glared at the man, saying, "And what is your ideal world?!"
The pirate, still groggy and disoriented, had just been woken up when he saw a bearded man staring at him. For some reason, he didn't dare not answer, so he went along with it and said:
"Yes, he can plunder freely. He has a lot of treasure and many women. He's a hero in his hometown..."
Cass stopped looking at him and turned to Inlava, saying, "It's confirmed..."
Determine what?
Before Inlava could even ask a question, Kas uttered a sentence that infuriated him:
"You are not ideals, you are just daydreams!!"
Inlava's eyes widened, and he retorted angrily, "What makes you think we're just daydreaming! We also strive for our own ideals. The ultimate goal of the ideal world is to give everyone the right to dream freely. We can live in our ideals every day and freely realize our dreams!"
“Unlike you, I don’t only focus on such ugly realities. The name ‘Utopia’ represents the wish of Lady Red. She wanted everyone on the sea to have happiness. What a noble cause that is! How could you possibly understand!”
Cass didn't say much, only asking him, "What do you want to eat?"
"Huh?" Inlava paused, seemingly not quite understanding. "What?"
"What do you want to eat?"
"Of course, it's time to eat!"
Inlava replied matter-of-factly, "Meat is fine too!"
"Who will produce it? No, to put it simply, who will take care of it?"
Cass looked down at him, his expression growing increasingly disdainful. "When it comes to food, it always has to be cooked, right? You can eat raw food, but what about the others in your so-called utopia? They want cooked food, right? Who will cook it?"
“Of course I’ll do it myself.” Inlava said impatiently, “What exactly do you want to ask!”
Cass's eyes widened, his voice turning into a roar that shook even his own beard:
"It's very simple. What I want to ask is, do you eat in reality or in your dreams?!"
"Of course, we eat in reality; dreams can't fill our stomachs..."
Inlava continued speaking, but before he could finish, he stopped mid-sentence, pausing on the last word, "stomach," and froze, lying motionless on the ground, his body stiff.
"Dreams can't fill an empty stomach, can they?"
Cass's tone became extremely indifferent, "Then, with so many people, where will the food come from? Can your dreams, your ideal world, conjure up food?"
