The New World Behind.
boom!!
A powerful laser cannon shot erupted from the sea and struck an island in front of it. With a tremendous destructive roar, the middle of the island was flattened, leaving only the two sides of the island and the surging sea in the middle.
As the laser beams faded, a golden ship appeared on the sea.
Inside the Golden Horse.
"Oh? This thing..."
Moore peered through the floor-to-ceiling window, exclaiming in surprise, "Water is leaking between the two halves, overflowing and incredibly slippery..."
Kuro, sitting in the main seat, rolled his eyes and muttered, "If you have nothing better to do, go to sleep! You start talking as soon as you wake up, huh? There are kids here!"
"child?"
Lida, who was picking up a bunch of grapes to try, peeked out and said, "Where are the children? The royalist isn't here."
Kuro peered at the island through his binoculars for a moment before turning to ask, "Mr. Kuro, it's almost cleared out. There are still some surviving pirates. Should we arrest them?"
"Kuro, try this, it's delicious!"
After Lida took a bite of grapes, her eyes lit up, and she picked one and put it into his mouth.
"Yeah?"
Kuro opened his mouth and let Lida stuff the grape into his mouth. After chewing it a couple of times, he pursed his lips, spat out the grape skin, and nodded, saying, "It's not bad."
Then he said to Crow, "I don't have time for that. Send a message to Cass and Wilbur. Aren't they on their way? Tell them to sail along our route. Capture those you can, kill those with serious offenses, and release those that are barely acceptable."
"Yes, Mr. Kuro, I'll connect the power right away." Kuro replied, took out a small Den Den Mushi from his pocket, and ran to the side to make a call.
After Kid and Law died, they've been wandering around here for a week. Kuro did the same thing with some of the pirates he captured from Law's main island. Since he only had one ship, he didn't need to fight, so he just played the game of escorting prisoners.
The mission I took on was the mission of those four main characters, and maybe some of the silver medalists around them would also work. That's just how pirate crews are; once the core members fall apart, they're pretty much scattered. Who has time to care about those nobodies?
There are so many pirates on the high seas; if you capture them all, there's nowhere to put them except on the seabed.
"Bolo bolo bolo..."
The Den Den Mushi on the desk rang loudly, startling the sleeping Mushi awake.
“Lida,” Kuro called out.
Lida pouted, got off the sofa, and muttered, "Don't you have a messenger? Why am I the one who answers the phone in the end?"
Moore, the naval officer in charge of "messengers," was recently promoted from lieutenant commander to captain, but he's still the same as always. He doesn't do his job properly, and you rarely see him. When he does come out, he's just yawning and talking.
Ugh, he deserves a beating.
Just as he said, he's just looking for a stable job to make a living.
Don't ask. The reason is to comfort lost young girls, relieve the worries of lonely older women, and explore the inner world of confused young women. The reasons vary, but the only common point is that Moore often doesn't have enough money. When he doesn't have enough money, he goes to Kuro. Although Kuro grumbles, he still gives him the money.
Sometimes Lida felt that Kuro was more lenient with him than with himself.
Is it really just a case of like attracts like?
Muttering to herself, Lida walked to the desk, stood on tiptoe to take down the microphone, and said, "Moshi moshi, this is Lieutenant General Lida from 'Butterfly'."
The Den Den Mushi's expression gradually transformed into that of a domineering, ruthless yakuza with a cigar in his mouth, emitting a deep, hoarse voice:
"White Whale? Give the phone to Kuro, I'm Sakazuki."
Lida's temples bulged with veins as she roared, "It's Haodie! It's Haodie! You..."
She made a move to throw the microphone down, but Kuro snatched it away and pressed down on Lida's head, saying, "Moshi moshi, Marshal, you wanted to see me?"
"ah..."
The Den Den Mushi exhaled a long puff of smoke, paused for a moment, and then slowly said, "Come back."
These words stunned not only Kuro, but everyone else present.
After a long while, a question mark appeared on Kuro's forehead, and he uttered a sound full of doubt: "Huh?"
return?
Where to go back to...?
"Don't you understand? I'm telling you to come back," Sakazuki said in a deep voice.
"Wait, wait..."
Kuro released his hand from Lida, who was equally stunned, and gave her a slight push forward, asking, "You mean, you want me to go back? And stop fighting pirates?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end, then the voice continued, "Due to some special circumstances, you need to retreat, retreat to Marineford."
These words made Kuro burst into laughter. He plopped back down in the main seat, one leg still propped up on the armrest, and teased, "What's this? Mary Geoise has been breached? Who's so powerful? Dragon? Teach? Or the Straw Hat? They've abandoned Wano Country and just left like that?"
"This is an order, Kuro."
The Den Den Mushi said in a deep voice, "You're a Marine, you need to follow orders, you don't need to worry about anything else!"
Kuro raised an eyebrow: "No, I am a general, Marshal Sakazuki. I respect you, so you can usually make the decisions. But for something like this, which has no beginning or end, you want me to just say we should retreat? What about all the effort I've put in over the past year?"
These words brought Klo, who had been stunned by Sakazuki's words, back to his senses, and he pursed his lips.
Do you still have any heart or soul left?
If you had any sense at all, you shouldn't have said that!
