Mihawk was clearly determined to fight Kuro, and his merciless stab to Lida completely enraged Kuro.
Previously, they would launch attacks without any explanation, and if it weren't for me and Lida blocking the attacks, everyone on this warship would have been in trouble.
Pirates are indeed a lawless and undisciplined bunch.
"One-Sword Style: Divine Cross!"
Kuro flipped his blade upwards, parrying Mihawk's black sword and instantly slashing out in a cross shape.
"Interesting swordsmanship."
Mihawk took a step back, parrying with his black blade, and then swung it backhand after receiving a blow from Kro.
when!
Kuro blocked the attack with a single strike, the blade slicing through the black sword and sending sparks flying, before slashing across Mihawk's neck.
"Not bad, that's imposing."
Mihawk flashed forward and asked, "Why would a man like you be in the East China Sea?"
If it weren't for the overwhelming power, that ordinary knife would have shattered the moment it touched the black blade.
"One-Sword Style: Rock Slide!"
Kuro leaped high into the air, gripping his sword with both hands and bringing it down with a powerful slash.
Ta-da!
On the deck, the two exchanged words.
The navy was dumbfounded.
That's the world's greatest swordsman, yet he managed to fight their warrant officer to a standstill.
So, even the world's greatest swordsman doesn't seem that strong...
Limited by their limited knowledge, these naval officers wouldn't think their warrant officer was that great; they would only think that Mihawk's strength was limited.
I think I could probably do it too?
Kuro dodged Mihawk's attack, sheathed his sword with a backhand motion, and then drew it again.
"One-Sword Style: Crushing Pressure!"
A strong killing intent emanated from the swing of the sword, spreading throughout the entire ship. Kro, who was watching the battle, felt dizzy and almost collapsed.
It's that feeling of being on the verge of death again...
Thump.
Thump.
The sailors stared blankly, and one by one they fainted on the deck.
Mihawk was taken aback. "Conqueror's Haki? No, is it killing intent? To use it to this extent, you're a genius."
"Kuro is getting serious."
Lida, who had stepped aside to watch the battle, chewed on an apple and said calmly.
"You mean Mr. Kuro isn't serious yet?" Kuro asked, barely suppressing the murderous aura emanating from him.
You're still not taking it seriously even after playing like this?
He wasn't one of those ignorant navy men; the way the two fought made his heart pound. Either of them was a powerful warrior who could kill him with a single blow.
Lida said, "That Hawkeye man didn't have any murderous intent; he just wanted to have a match. Kuro wasn't really keen on fighting him at first, but he seems to have been provoked."
"Oh? Are they getting serious now?"
Mihawk sensed it too, and a hint of expectation flickered in his eyes.
"The Unknown Divine Wind and Amorous Killing Sword - Flood Dragon!"
Kuro spread two fingers across the blade, emitting a golden light, and slashed at Mihawk.
It's not a 'jiao' (蛟), nor a 'shen' (蜃), but rather a combination of both—a true 'jiaolong' (蛟龙)!
The moisture in the air stirred the sea, gathering on Kuro's sword and forming a dragon shape made of water.
Mihawk's expression turned solemn as he gripped the black sword Night with both hands and slashed it out.
The two intersect, but are offset from each other.
Click!
Kuro's sword shattered into pieces. He gripped the hilt and said calmly, "Did you hear that? The soft sound of the divine wind."
laugh!
Mihawk's hand splattered with blood. He turned around, revealing a wound on his cheek from which blood was still flowing.
Despite his injury, he showed no anger. Instead, he said with regret, "Very interesting swordsmanship, the power to control water, and blood... It's a pity that the sword prevents you from using your full strength. You need a famous sword."
He's injured! The world's greatest swordsman is actually injured!
Others might not know, but how could Lida not know what was going on?
An ordinary knife can harm Hawkeye; Kuro has the qualifications to challenge for the title of the world's greatest swordsman!
Kuro took a deep breath, picked up a military knife, and reapplied Armament Haki to it.
"The dragon is useless against you. Come to think of it, it makes sense, considering he is the world's greatest swordsman."
He touched the blade again and said, "Lida, stay away from me. The Mysterious God's Flowing Technique - Azure..."
"That's enough, I've had my fill today."
Mihawk suddenly waved his hand, sheathing his black sword. "If we really fight, your ship will fall apart. I'm not here to fight the Navy."
Kuro said angrily, "Lida was injured after blocking your attack and almost destroyed my ship. Now you say you won't fight? So what if you're a Shichibukai!"
Since the Navy had already passed out and no one saw it, he really wanted to test how big the gap was between himself and the world's greatest swordsman.
"I'm injured too, so let's call it even."
Mihawk said nonchalantly, then flashed and jumped onto his small boat. "Sorry, the Seven Warlords of the Sea are so great, we have special privileges."
He smiled with satisfaction. He had come to Donghai out of boredom, but unexpectedly, he had met two interesting people.
That Roronoa Zoro, and the man before him who could challenge his throne.
"Young man, state your name."
"My name is Chloe!"
Kuro said solemnly, "Remember my name, Dracule Mihawk. I, Kuro, will one day replace you as the world's greatest swordsman!"
"???"
Kro, who was still shocked by the two's fighting prowess, was immediately filled with question marks.
What does this have to do with me?
Did you mispronounce it?
"I've got it."
Mihawk nodded solemnly, "Find a famous sword as soon as possible. A swordsman without a good sword will be less capable. Come back to me when you are truly confident. I will be waiting for you on that throne."
