Chapter 137 The Knife is My Wife

"Courage?"

Zoro nodded subconsciously upon hearing Kuro's words and said, "Interesting. If I can escape, I'll give it a try!"

"Zoro, that guy is just trying to trick you out of your sword!"

Nami yelled at him.

Zoro turned to look at Nami and exclaimed in surprise, "Is that so?"

"You're not being fair, little girl!"

Kuro looked at Nami and said righteously, "This is the spirit of a swordsman! To forge one's own sword into a 'black sword' with one's own hands, that unique feeling, that feeling that belongs only to oneself, is what a true swordsman pursues!"

"Think about it, the process of a swordsman's sword, from never having mastered it to becoming one, is like the process of meeting a woman and getting married. Day and night you spend time together, you're inseparable. Until it turns black, then she is your wife, your spouse!"

Kuro picked up Shusui, his expression very serious: "This Shusui is the sword of Ryuma, the great swordsman of Wano Country. He forged it into a black blade, so this is his wife. As a swordsman, one should seek out one's wife; that is what makes a swordsman, that is the spirit and responsibility of a man!"

His words were so powerful they were deafening, and those who heard them suddenly understood.

Luffy punched his left fist into his right palm, then suddenly realized, "So that's how it is! This is what a swordsman is all about! Awesome, Zoro!"

"That sounds impressive. So, if Green Moss Head has three knives, it means he has three women by his side. Unbelievable! He actually has three! I don't have a single one!"

Sanji knelt down and pounded his fists, displaying a kind of defeated dog mentality.

"Oh, I see!" Usopp nodded, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "Three women? No wonder Zoro trains every day."

"Yohohohoho, then my sword is a woman too."

Brook looked at his cane sword, his voice turning deep: "So, would you like to show me your fat spikes? Even though you're a sword, you don't have fat spikes, yohohohoho!"

Skull...

Having lived for over twenty years, this was the first time Kuro had ever seen a living skeleton.

Of course, I've seen far too many dead ones.

That's why it's so strange.

"Zoro is such a man! He truly is a real man!" Franky gave him a thumbs up.

"Zoro is so cool!"

A cute little animal over there was also making noise.

"A tanuki?" Kuro looked over.

"I'm a reindeer!" Chopper shouted angrily.

Nami remained expressionless, looking at everyone as if they were idiots.

Lida and Kuro, standing next to Kuro, had strange expressions.

Lida, in particular, seemed to express a sense of disdain.

“He’s beyond saving…” Lida shook her head.

Kro nodded in agreement.

"If that's the case..."

Nico Robin thought for a moment, analyzed the situation briefly, and found a blind spot. She said to Kuro, "Then by using this knife, aren't you just stealing that 'Ryoma's' wife?"

Immediately, the surroundings fell silent.

The atmosphere was somewhat silent.

It looked like a few crows flew across the sky.

Everyone turned to look at Kuro, seemingly waiting for his explanation.

Kuro was silent for a moment, then put the Autumn Water back into his waistband, raised his head, took a deep breath, and slowly said:

"I like married women."

Nami's expression immediately turned to disgust, with a hint of nausea, as if she were looking at scum.

Robin nodded: "A nice hobby."

"Is this the time to talk about this?"

Kuro realized what was happening and shouted, "Grandpa, didn't you say you were going to arrest someone? Hurry up!"

"Oh, I think so."

Kizaru scratched his head. "I forgot too."

Then he lowered his head, and his feet continued to glow yellow.

The others' expressions changed instantly, and they all shouted in worry, "Zoro!!"

"I will finish him off now."

Kizaru stepped on it.

Just then, a figure flashed past and kicked Kizaru's leg, lifting him high into the air.

The beam of light from Kizaru's foot shot out into the air and struck a large tree directly in front of him.

boom!!!

With a tremendous roar, a huge crater was blasted into the trees above.

Kizaru gently put his foot down, looked at the person in front of him in surprise, and pouted, "Is it your turn to appear? 'Dark King' Rayleigh."

The man had white hair and beard, wore a tattered cloak, and carried an ordinary longsword at his waist. He smiled at Kizaru and said, "Don't pluck the tender shoots. Their era has only just begun."

"Pluto?"

Lida and Kuro were both taken aback by what Kizaru said.

One came from the Grand Line, the other was a former pirate; upon hearing 'Pluto,' their first thought was naturally...

One of the three ancient weapons?

Is Crocodile looking for something in Sabaody Archipelago?

"Rayleigh? The vice-captain of the Roger Pirates?"

Kro stared at the old man in shock. "Really?!"

"No way..." Lida exclaimed in disbelief, "Is that Rayleigh here?"

Sentomaru asked, "Brother Kuro, is that the real thing?"

Kuro lit another cigar, tilted his head back, and exhaled a puff of smoke. "It's him. You can tell just by his aura. He's so old, yet he's as strong as a monster."

Kizaru looked at Rayleigh and said, "Well, I also quite like to mentor young people, but pirates are out of the question."

"But you actually are on this island. I thought it was just a rumor... Even if you're old, do you still have that decadent pirate vibe in your bones?"

“If you’re willing to withdraw the bounty, I’d be happy to retire,” Rayleigh said with a smile.
