Chapter 164 The Garbage at Sea

At this time, the Seven Warlords of the Sea were gathered and having a meal in Mary Geoise.

No wonder Major Job hesitated to speak earlier.

If Kuro had known earlier that it was a Shichibukai here, he wouldn't have bothered eating here.

But since we're already here, it doesn't really matter.

He's just having a meal, what else could it be?

Hearing Granny Tsuru's words, Kuro could only smile wryly.

"Don't joke with me, Granny Crane."

Kuro beckoned and instructed the Marines standing behind him, "Give me some food, a large portion, and some alcohol."

"Yes!" the navy officer replied and went out to prepare.

After saying this, Kuro glared fiercely at the bear opposite him.

However, the tall figure, holding a book, remained silent, as if he hadn't seen anything.

It seems that he has lost much of his consciousness.

Immediately afterwards, Kuro felt a scrutinizing gaze.

He turned his head and saw the man with eagle-like eyes leaning back in his chair, his feet propped up on the table, looking up at him.

Seeing Kuro looking over, Mihawk smiled at him: "Long time no see."

His gaze shifted downwards and landed on Kuro's waist. "You seem to have acquired a fine knife."

"No, it's not as good as yours."

Kuro quickly shook his head.

Just kidding, look at the way he looks at me, it's like he's about to have a fight with me.

"Oh? You know him? A junior navy officer?"

A tall figure not far away looked at Kuro with a scrutinizing gaze and laughed: "Fufufufufu, how interesting."

The man sat at the dining table with his legs crossed, completely unkempt. He wore capri pants and pointed shoes, and a pink feather coat. He had blond hair, wore sunglasses, and exuded a dangerous aura.

Of all those present, his aura was the most dangerous.

'Heavenly Demon', Donquixote Doflamingo.

The most dangerous man among the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Beside him was a burly man with several missing teeth, eating a cherry pie.

Marshall D. Teach.

Nearby was a long neck, with bandages still on its head, resembling that of a demon.

Moonlight Moria.

With the addition of Bartholomew Kuma and Dracule Mihawk, there are now five Shichibukai.

Kuro ignored Doflamingo, pretending not to see him. These dangerous men were not on his side, so why should he have anything to do with them?

I originally wanted to cause trouble for Xiong, but he's almost out of consciousness now, so there's no need for that.

He probably paid a price for what happened in Chambord.

Soon, the food was served, and Kuro unceremoniously picked up a piece of meat leg bone and ate it in a few bites.

Tsuru, who was standing to the side, looked at Kuro, who seemed to be starving, and shook her head with a smile. Then she glanced at the Seven Warlords of the Sea opposite her and said, "What do you think if you encountered them?"

Kuro, who was wolfing down his food, paused. Sure enough, the entire upper echelon knew about it.

He thought for a moment and answered truthfully, "It's very impressive. If it weren't for some factors, I wouldn't have been able to come back so easily."

He knew that Crane was referring to Whitebeard, and since the higher-ups already knew, these questions could be answered.

Kuro is currently thinking about how to avoid being promoted; as for the rest, he'll find out when he finds out, and there's no need to hide it.

Anyway, his abilities were known to the higher-ups a long time ago.

It's not a big deal that he killed Shiki; if he denies it to the death, the Navy has no evidence to claim credit for him.

If it's fake, then the Navy Headquarters will lose face big time.

He nodded. "After all, it's that person. It's normal. But it's good that you're back. Young people should take on more responsibility. The future depends on you."

Kuro finished his bowl of rice, reached for the roast suckling pig in front of him, took a big bite, and said while chewing, "Grandma Tsuru, please spare me. You should know me. I really didn't mean it."

"Lazy fellow," Crane chuckled and scolded, "Whatever, just remember your sense of justice."

There are people like Kuro in the Navy, the most famous one being his superior.

He didn't find this unreasonable; everyone has their own thoughts, and he wouldn't force anyone.

But as long as it's the navy, that's fine.

Such formidable combat power, unless it reaches the opposing side, signifies that the navy's own strength is increasing.

Tsuru rubbed her temples, looking at Kuro with a hint of relief.

A chaotic power struggle, with new threats emerging every year.

Two years ago, there was 'Fire Fist' Ace; this year, there are the Worst Generation. Every year, there are people with great potential who emerge.

In contrast, the Navy doesn't actually have as many new recruits as the pirates.

Garp's apprentice is good, but it will take time for him to grow up.

Although Smoker and Tina have emerged, they are still somewhat lacking in the ability to determine the direction of the Navy.

Kuro, on the other hand, is someone that everyone at the top has been satisfied with in recent years.

He's a veteran of the navy, having served for ten years.

He has a strong sense of identification with the Navy. Although he is a lazy guy, his combat power is enough to offset his laziness.

"Hey, hey, hey, this is so boring, why hasn't that woman come over yet?"

Suddenly, Doflamingo shouted, "I'm getting impatient, fufufufu!"

"Hahaha, you can't be impatient. You have to be patient in everything you do." Marshall D. Teach laughed loudly while eating cherry pie.
