Kuro ultimately couldn't tell whether Hancock was wearing clothes or not, and Hancock didn't actually gouge out Kuro's eyes.
Because this is Mary Geoise.
With a major battle looming, no one wanted to cause trouble.
Once Hancock arrived, the group set off, taking the elevator from Mary Geoise to Sabaody, and then from the port of Sabaody to headquarters.
Upon arriving at headquarters, the Seven Warlords of the Sea were taken to their accommodations by the Marines, while Clow Reed, who was planning to go find Lida, was led by Tsuru to the conference hall.
Inside the conference hall, high-ranking officials were gathered.
Sengoku, Garp, and the three admirals are all sitting here.
"He's here."
When Sengoku saw Tsuru enter, he greeted her, then glanced at Kuro who had followed behind her and said, "You're back too. I've heard about what happened."
Upon hearing this, the generals all smiled at Kuro.
"Hahaha, you did a really good job, kid!" Garp laughed heartily.
Kuro rolled his eyes, said nothing, and stood behind Kizaru without thinking.
"Alright, let's talk about that later, let's talk about the present first."
After watching Tsuru take her seat, Sengoku's expression turned serious. He said, "We have received news that the Red-Haired Pirates have clashed with Kaido in the New World."
“Kaido…” Akainu adjusted his hat, which hung low, obscuring his expression.
"Oh~ How scary. Have two 'Four Emperors' clashed? If so, Whitebeard's side will only have him left, right?" Kizaru exclaimed in surprise.
Sengoku nodded: "One is fine, that was our goal anyway, it will reduce our pressure a lot. But we can't let our guard down, that man is no ordinary person after all, if we can find a way to weaken him, our chances of winning will be much greater."
He paused for a moment and said, "Whitebeard should be going all out. Besides his captains, his pirate crew will also be setting off together. One of them is... Squard. He can use him."
Crane thought for a moment and said, "Squardo... that pirate, I remember he used to fight Roger, right?"
"This is all thanks to you, Kuro."
Sengoku looked at Kuro: "In the Den Den Mushi we intercepted, the 12th Division Captain Harta mentioned Squard's name, which reminded me of him. He used to be the captain of an independent pirate crew, but he was defeated by Roger, and his crew was wiped out by Roger. That guy had a grudge against Roger."
"?"
A big question mark appeared above Kuro's head.
My credit?
This has absolutely nothing to do with me, old man from the Warring States period, you can't make me take the blame for everything!
Sengoku continued, "In short, we can use him to weaken that man."
Upon hearing this, Aokiji hesitated and said, "Wouldn't doing something like this be dishonorable for our navy?"
"Forget about reputation, Kuzan."
Akainu suddenly spoke up, saying to Aokiji, "There's no need to be picky about pirates of that caliber. Pirates must be wiped out. I'll bear the burden of reputation and ridicule."
He looked at the Warring States and said in a resounding voice, "I'll do it."
“Sakazuki…”
Zhan Guo looked at him for a while, and finally nodded: "Alright, then I'll leave it to you."
The detailed battle plan had already been discussed at the last meeting, and after giving a final briefing, the meeting adjourned to begin deploying all the arriving naval personnel.
Kuro was also freed. After leaving the conference hall, he sighed and looked down at the sea of people below.
The entire conscripted navy has arrived.
"A storm is brewing, really..."
Kuro took out a cigar, lit it, and then looked at a group of marines in the distance. It seemed to be a large square formation, and the leader of the marines was raising his arms and shouting wildly. He didn't know what he was saying, but it seemed to invigorate the other marines, and they all shouted back.
It's quite inspiring.
Kuro smiled and shook his head. "It's best if everyone survives."
However, in war, it is clearly impossible for everyone to survive.
Even the generals don't have that ability, and neither does Kuro.
Once they become members of the Navy, they must be prepared to sacrifice for it, a point that Kuro is very open-minded about.
He went downstairs, left the main building, and walked into the city of Marineford.
At this moment, the families of naval personnel in the city were boarding the warship one by one.
Kuro summoned a Marine and asked, "Where are we going?"
"Report! These family members will all be going to Shambaud for refuge." The navy officer saluted and shouted.
Kuro glanced at it and asked, "When will the evacuation be complete?"
“Before tomorrow morning!” the Navy reported.
"Okay, I understand. You can continue working."
"yes!"
"Kuro!"
As Kuro was about to continue forward, he saw a small figure waving at him from the port.
"Lida?"
Kuro paused for a moment, then walked over and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"As you can see, direct the family members to board the ship."
Lida looked at Kuro and asked, "Where did you go? I haven't seen you for days. Is something wrong?"
Something serious? That would be a huge problem!
Thinking of this, Kuro looked around and gritted his teeth, saying, "Where's that idiot Kuro?"
"Crow? I think he's over there."
Lida looked around and pointed to a figure next to a warship not far ahead.
At this moment, Kro was wearing a black suit and a navy cloak, which made him look rather imposing.
He seemed to sense something, turned his head, saw Kuro and walked over, greeting him: "Mr. Kuro."
