Chapter 199 What the hell?

While Smoker was agonizing over whether the Marines could combine, he watched as the twisted, enormous white monster rushed toward the Marines who were fighting the pirates. Like a white whirlwind, the pirates, covered in wounds, collapsed as the thing stirred things up.

That speed actually relieved a lot of pressure on the navy.

On the battlefield, beneath that distorted thing, the previous stalemate was gradually easing.

"That thing..."

Beckman, who was fighting Kizaru, glanced over there and his expression hardened. "We can't let this go."

"Oh, you're still looking in other directions while fighting me, Ben Beckman?"

Seeing an opening, Kizaru unleashed a flying kick, his legs flashing with light.

Beckman was kicked and staggered, letting out a muffled groan. He gripped the butt of his gun and slammed it down on Kizaru. The butt touched Kizaru's body, and the latter turned into light and flashed behind him.

Bang!

In that instant, Beckman turned the butt of his gun, aiming it at Kizaru before he could even materialize, and pulled the trigger, sending a bullet straight towards Kizaru.

The luminous form that Kizaru had transformed into disintegrated under this attack. The light visibly staggered, revealing his true appearance, with a noticeable scratch on his cheek.

"Too bad, you dodged it." Beckman said, taking a drag of his cigarette.

"How scary."

Kizaru let out a cry, crossed his arms, and his body flashed into the air, shouting, "Yasakani no Magatama!"

Numerous lasers appeared from the sky, bombarding the rear of the battlefield, where the pirates were located.

Boom boom boom!

The explosion occurred in the center of the pirates' territory, knocking many people over.

"How could I possibly let you unleash that move!"

Beckman fired another shot, the speed of which forced Kizaru to shift his body.

"That won't work, Beckman."

Kizaru's attack continued.

Bang bang bang bang!

Beckman calmly fired four shots in quick succession and said, "A battlefield is not just made up of one or two people."

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a blond samurai jumped behind Kizaru, gripped the hilt of his sword, and slashed down fiercely.

Kizaru was startled and was about to dodge when he realized that all the directions he could move in were blocked by the three shots Beckman had fired earlier, and the last shot was aimed at the opening when he actively transformed into his elemental form. No matter what, he had to take a hit.

"You were careless, Kizaru," Beckman said calmly.

"Oh~ how scary."

Kizaru pouted, but his expression showed no fear whatsoever.

Just as the blond-haired samurai swung his blade, another figure appeared behind him. His pupils contracted, and he abruptly changed the direction of his blade, slashing backward. In his eyes, he could vaguely see a black light slashing towards him.

when! !

A black blade of light was placed on his sword, carrying immense force, and crashed to the ground along with the blond-haired warrior, kicking up a cloud of dust.

At this moment, Kizaru let the bullet pierce his head, then returned to normal, and said with a smile, "Indeed, a battlefield is not made up of one or two people."

"That person is..."

Beckman, peering through the smoke, clicked his tongue and said, "This is a bit troublesome."

That navy guy is a troublesome character.

As the smoke cleared, the blade that had been held aloft by the blond samurai was now a black sword, and the owner of that black sword was none other than Kuro, who had flown back.

"Kuro, you're back. How's Blackbeard?" Kizaru asked.

"I don't know, but anyway, we'll sink it at sea for now."

Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke, gripped Shusui tightly, and suddenly slammed it down, shouting, "Slash Wave!"

The black blade unleashed a golden slash, directly striking the blond samurai's sword.

The blond-haired warrior suddenly stepped back, shifting his body to the side to dodge the slash. At the same time, he smoothly tucked his longsword into his waistband and drew it out in a flash, creating a streak of light.

"Is it Iai again?"

Kuro was startled and stepped back as he put the blade into his waistband, but he was still a step too slow. He leaned back and saw the blade glide past him, lifting a strand of hair.

The blond samurai smiled slightly, stopped his long sword above Kuro, changed direction, and slashed down.

"A poisonous snake!"

Kuro braced himself against the ground behind him with one hand, causing the ground in front of him to surge and churn up waves of stone that rose from all around, blocking the blond samurai's longsword. At the same time, several stone spikes also pierced towards him.

Bang!

The blond warrior drew his sword, shattering the wave of stones, and swung it again to crush the incoming stone spikes.

"You're not bad!" He looked at Kuro and smiled.

"It's iaido again..."

Kuro clicked his tongue and looked closely at the blond samurai.

This person had his hair tied back in a bun, a scar on his forehead, and his hairstyle was somewhat reminiscent of a samurai from Wano Country. He was also a high-ranking officer in the Red-Haired Pirates.

And that knife...

“This is the first time I’ve seen an Iaijutsu using a greatsword,” Kuro said.

The blond samurai was wielding a large katana with an unusually long blade, but his iaido technique was no slower than his own.

“Keep him occupied, get this man moving, and the situation will change,” Beckman said.

"Ah...I know."

The blond samurai gripped his greatsword with both hands, his eyes gleaming with fighting spirit.

"Ben Beckman..."

Kuro looked at the man behind the blond samurai.

Among the Four Emperors, there are quite a few who can be called 'Emperor's Vice-Presidents', who are basically the strongest people in the Four Emperors' forces besides the captains.
