"Is this guy so resilient? He was hit by two of your 'Unknown Divine Wind' attacks, and he can still talk."
Lida walked over, surprised.
Kuro glanced at the silent Gugas, "An awakened Zoan-type has boundless vitality."
Aside from awakening, Zoan-type attacks of this level wouldn't last more than two hits from him.
In terms of strength, he is no less than a lieutenant general.
No wonder it has been able to stand guard over the gates of Tada Town for so long; it truly deserves the title of 'gatekeeper'.
"What do we do next?" Lida asked.
Kuro glanced at the sky and looked outside. With his eyesight, he could see that this night only existed within the Kingdom of Tada; in other places, it was still daytime.
His Observation Haki couldn't find the ability user because the aura was too mixed, with all sorts of auras present.
The atmosphere in Tada Town alone was chaotic and mixed, but in the inner kingdom it was even more exaggerated. The powerful and the weak were mixed together, densely packed, and the frenzied atmosphere completely covered anyone who might be hiding in it, making them impossible to find.
"Let's get back to the ship first, and we'll talk about it once we're at sea."
He didn't care, but these subordinates were not suitable to stay here.
Kuro clenched his fist, and the rain subsided slightly. He activated the Den Den Mushi on his wrist, dialed Kizaru's number, and walked outside.
The captain and his men, weapons in hand, swallowed hard, filled with tension.

Kuro lit his lighter, trying to light the cigar in his mouth. He had gotten soaked in the rain, and although the cigar box was waterproof and the cigar inside was dry, the lighter wouldn't light.

Kuro pressed the lighter a few times, veins bulging on his forehead, before throwing it away.
"I'll ask the old man to ask Vegapunk to make a lighter that works even in wind, rain, lightning, and thunder!" Kuro said resentfully.
Suddenly, a ball of fire rushed around the corner, illuminating the surroundings.
The tense captain jolted awake and instinctively pulled the trigger. With a bang, the lead bullet struck the ball of fire, momentarily halting its movement.
Then it became even more violent!
"roar!"
That wasn't fire at all, but a humanoid being engulfed in flames, charging madly towards Kuro and the others.
The lead bullets hit him, but they had no effect whatsoever; his charred skin provided him with sufficient protection.
This shows that cutting with an ordinary knife is not very effective.
"Lieutenant Colonel!"
The captain shouted, and saw that the fire monster was almost in front of Kuro.
Kuro took a cigar out of his mouth, waved it at the fire monster, and said, "Friend, can I borrow a light?"
"roar!"
The humanoid monster's fiery claws lunged at Kuro's head.
Bang!!
A long spear fell from the sky and pierced its head. The force sent the fire monster flying backward, crashing to the ground. Its head exploded, and its body trembled and convulsed on the ground.
Kuro caught a flying burning fragment with his Haki-covered hand and used the flame to light his cigar.
"No need to be so polite, I can do it myself," he said casually.
"roar..."
"Waaah..."
As the fire monster made its noise, flames began to ignite around them, and a large number of fire monsters, accompanied by strange roars and whimpers, surrounded them.
"Lieutenant Colonel..."
Dozens of sailors huddled together, the captain looking to Kuro for help, his expression one of extreme fear.
Anyone who is attacked by this fire-breathing monster, which is impervious to swords and spears, will feel fear.
"So that's how it is. This is the curse. They were just ordinary people before, but they became very strong after the transformation."
Kro adjusted his glasses and said with a hint of inquiry, "Immortality, invulnerability to blades and spears, and flames attached to his body—as a soldier, he would be extremely powerful. If taken outside, this threat would be a major headache for anyone."

Kuro slowly exhaled a puff of smoke, looked around, and said, "One person is enough to light a cigarette, but since you're all so enthusiastic, I'll give you the same treatment as him."

A sharp sword descended from the sky, piercing through a fiery monster that was about to approach.
Boom boom boom!
Above the sky, weapons rained down like a barrage of bullets, relentlessly bombarding everything in sight. The immense destructive power emanating from such a height was beyond the capabilities of something as fragile as this, capable only of defending against ordinary swords.
In an instant, these things were cut and shattered by the powerful inertia, turning into pieces that burned on the ground.
