port.
Bang bang bang!
The navy personnel remaining on the warship looked on in horror at the fiery monsters roaring at them below.
Just now, night fell, and those staff members turned into this thing.
"What is this?!"
A lieutenant in temporary command gritted his teeth, staring in horror at the monsters.
Lead bullets wouldn't penetrate; they'd tried. And cannons...
A sudden seawater rain caused their cannons to become damp and are temporarily unusable. Even their muskets are not all working.
As for swords and blades... bullets aren't even being fired anymore, so forget about hand-to-hand combat; the opponent is on fire.
If they hadn't all been on the ship, preventing the monster from getting ashore, they would probably have been finished with their strength.
Fortunately, we are in the water now.
"Lieutenant, if such a monster exists, then the lieutenant colonel and his men..."
A navy officer shot one of the fiery monsters below, and the lead bullet shattered on his body. He asked worriedly.
"impossible!"
The lieutenant said decisively, "Who is Lieutenant Colonel Kuro? Even Whitebeard is wary of him. These mere monsters cannot possibly harm him!"
Many people witnessed Kuro's performance during the Marineford War, and the lieutenant had great confidence in Lieutenant Colonel Kuro's abilities.
"Did you make the call?" the lieutenant asked.
"We tried, but couldn't get through," the navy responded.
"Damn it, hit me again!"
The lieutenant gritted his teeth. "We'll wait here. We won't move until the cannon is ready."
"Lieutenant, there's still a living person!"
A navy officer pointed ahead and saw a man kneeling in a corner, his hands covering his head, trembling.
Isn't that the old man who scolded their boss before?
Has he not changed?
"roar!"
Some of the fire monsters spotted the person in the corner, and instead of staring blankly at the navy on the warship, they turned and ran towards him.
"They're here! They're here!"
Nilo's eyes were filled with madness, his arms were clasped together, and his expression was one of extreme fear and distortion, yet he still managed to laugh, "The day of atonement has come again! Ah! I must atone!"
boom!
Suddenly, several slashes shot out from the gate, breaking it open. At the same time, a large number of weapons shot down from the sky, annihilating all the fire monsters that had gathered around the port.
Kuro, cigar in mouth, swaggered in with Shusui slung over his shoulder. His Den Den Mushi was open, and he was on a phone call with someone.
"You old fool, answer the phone!"
He grumbled irritably, looked around, and spotted Nello, who was laughing and crying loudly in the corner. "Oh, there's still a living person here."
"Lieutenant Colonel Kuro!"
The lieutenant on the warship shouted excitedly.
"Everything's fine..."
Kuro glanced at them, nodded, and said, "Lower the steps, everyone else go up. Lida and Kuro, you two come with me."
"clear."
The lieutenant behind him saluted, seemingly relieved; he too didn't really want to fight these terrifying monsters.
This place is filled with eeriness.
"Why! Why won't you let me atone for my sins!"
As Nilo watched the fire monster being shattered into pieces by the falling swords, he roared madly, "Let me atone for my sins!"
"Go die somewhere else, don't bother me."
Kuro said irritably, "If you don't even want to live, who the hell wants to save you?"
"Click..."
The Den Den Mushi made a sound, and its appearance quickly changed, transforming into Kizaru's lewd look.
"Oh~ Kuro, what do you want with this old man? Don't you want to go on patrol anymore?"
"You finally answered the phone, old man."
Kuro asked directly, "Let me ask you something. How much do you know about the Kingdom of Tada?"
"The Kingdom of Tada?"
The person on the other end hesitated for a moment, then said, "Oh, that shady country. If you're there, remember to buy some weapons; their weapons are quite good."
"I would like to buy it, but everyone in the Kingdom of Tada is now under the influence of powers and has turned into monsters that emit flames. With a power user causing trouble here, it is very likely that there will be no living people left in the Kingdom of Tada."
Then he told Kizaru about the situation in the Kingdom of Tada.
"Oh, how terrible. The entire kingdom has become like this? That's beyond the jurisdiction of our navy. Let's withdraw."
"There's no way to evacuate now. If you didn't know that, then never mind."
"Well, do as you wish, I grant your permission."
"Um?"
Kuro was taken aback. What was going on? Why was the old man so easy to talk to?
He wanted to say something more, but found that the other end of the phone had already hung up.
In Mary Geoise, Kizaru stood in a conference room, hung up the phone, and smiled at the five people opposite him:
"He's my subordinate. It's alright, let's continue the meeting."
"Lucil Kuro..."
Among the five, an elderly man with red skin sat there with his hands in his pockets and his legs crossed elegantly. He said, "I've heard of him. He performed admirably in the war against Whitebeard."
"It seems he has obtained the power of the Golden Lion, and is a fairly strong Marine," an elderly man wearing a hat with wavy hair added.
"The Kingdom of Tada..."
The bald old man gritted his teeth and said, "Is that place almost finished? Foolish! The disappearance of the member states will be a huge loss of face for the World Government."
An elderly man with a long beard said, "Back then, the king forbade us to interfere, but now there's nothing we can do to stop it."
