"This thing..."
Kuro remembered, this was pure gold.
A legendary item, a priceless treasure, something that people all over the world would want to have.
Nobody knows where it is.
But Kuro remembered.
This is on the lanternfish's belly. Moreover, if I remember correctly, the huge lantern on its head is made of even more pure gold.
"Who...who are you? Navy?"
Suddenly, a sound came from the side.
A figure emerged from the ruins.
The man's clothes were somewhat tattered, and his belly bulged out, making him look like a decadent middle-aged man.
"Is there anyone else?"
Kuro turned his head, looked over, and seemed to realize something.
There are only two people inside the lanternfish's belly.
This person is one of them.
Mischina Asie, the scientist who created 'pure gold'.
"How did you get in? No, this is... the sky?"
Asie raised his head and saw the boundless blue sky, his expression somewhat dazed.
The warm sea breeze ruffled his hair, carrying a faint scent of the ocean. It wasn't the smell from Lord Lantern's stomach; it was a scent he hadn't smelled in a long time, a scent so distant he had almost forgotten it.
Ocean, sky...
"Is this...outside?" Asie murmured, lost in thought. "I came out of Lord Lantern's belly? The sky I haven't seen in two hundred years..."
"No! That's not right, now is not the time for lamenting! Navy, Navy, please save my daughter! My daughter is missing!"
Asie realized what was happening and cried out to Kuro for help.
Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke. To be honest, if he hadn't remembered something, he really wouldn't have believed that this obese man was the scientist who created 'pure gold'.
That thing is something that cannot be accepted in this world.
"Your daughter?"
Kuron nodded. "Over there, on the beach of this island... never mind, I'll do it."
Observation color allows one to clearly sense other life forms present here.
"This place is unacceptable; your presence has already caused enough trouble."
Kuro slammed his palm down on the island's ground, and with a loud bang, the ground beneath Asie's feet cracked open, forming a platform that lifted him up.
"This, this?" Asie panicked and instinctively squatted down, his hands gripping the ground.
"Hold on tight, don't fall."
Kuro narrowed his eyes and tightened his grip.
"Yo yo yo yo yo!!!"
In the distance, several figures flew over from the same rocky platform.
It was a little girl with golden hair that reached her waist. She was kneeling on the ground, looking at the flying platform in a panic. Beside her were two dinosaur-like creatures of different colors, which looked a bit silly.
"That's... Olga!"
Asie's eyes widened.
"Oh?!"
Olga saw Asie at that moment, her mouth agape, and after looking at him carefully, she was stunned.
Although they looked different and hadn't seen each other for two hundred years, Olga easily recognized that it was her father.
"You..." Olga said in disbelief.
“Olga, I’m your father!” Asie shouted.
Boom!
As soon as he finished speaking, the island below rose as a whole, breaking apart into large rocks amidst the collision of countless islands, rocks, and weapons, which then rose into the sky along with the objects.
"All done, cover up the crime." Kuro clapped his hands, then gestured, and the platforms where Asie and Olga were located merged together, heading towards Moe Island with him.
"Kuro! Kuro, are you done? Um... who are these two?"
Lida saw Kuro flying in from a distance and had just called out when she noticed two more people beside him.
Lida especially glanced at the blonde girl.
The girl was about the same age as her current build, maybe two years apart, but something just didn't feel right.
That aura... it felt the same as hers, or even... a bit more mature.
"Never mind that for now, call Kro, it's time for a meeting."
Kuro had already taken off his cloak and wrapped it around his hands to prevent the light from emanating from the things inside.
This thing is a big deal just by showing its face.
"Okay, I'll go call them right away."
Seeing that Kuro's expression was very serious, Lida nodded, no longer caring about the blonde girl, and ran to call Kuro.
"here it is?"
Olga looked at Meng Island with a gleam in her eyes, but she quickly became alert. "Wait, who are you? Why am I outside? And why is my dad here?"
“Olga, we’re actually all on the same island, but the environment there has kept us from meeting… My beloved Olga, it’s so good that you’re still safe and sound after all these years.” Asie shed tears.
“Dad…” Olga pursed her lips, unsure of what to say.
She didn't know how long she had lived on the beach, with only her pets for company every day. She saw no one and had no one to talk to. She had always thought that she was the only person left in the world. Unexpectedly, with a tremor, she not only came outside, but also found that her father was nearby.
What is this...?
"We can catch up later. I have something to ask you. Once this is over, you'll be free to do whatever you want, but..."
Kuro looked at Asie and said in a deep voice, "Keep the matter of 'pure gold' a secret."
