A moment later, Smoker came out with a happy smile, while Sazir, with a bruised and swollen face, covered his cheek and looked distressed.
"Kid, since I'm having a great time today, let me give you a piece of advice."
Smoker said, "Let's change the name. At Marine Headquarters, this name will attract attention."
"A real man would never change his name!"
Sazir gritted his teeth and said, "If I have to change my name because of a little pain, how am I supposed to achieve my dream!"
"What is your dream?" Smoker asked in surprise.
Sazel said, “I was born on a poor island. My family was very poor. Besides my parents, there was only a disabled old man who accompanied me. He told me that I must make something of myself. So this is my dream: to make something of myself and become famous at sea! I want to become a naval officer, a naval officer even higher than Mr. Kuro!”
When the time comes, he will have to pay back all the humiliation he suffered!
Smoker gave him a thumbs up. "This is actually quite easy to do. Keep it up."
If his position is higher than Kuro's, then there shouldn't be any problem.
However, if Smoker knew what he was thinking, he would still give him a thumbs up and say "amazing".
That's a dream even bigger than getting a promotion.
Once you reach that level, you can go anywhere on the open sea.
"Smoker?"
Suddenly, a voice sounded behind him.
Smoker turned around and asked, "You're fast?"
Kuro rolled his eyes. "What do you mean 'I'm so fast'? Let me tell you, you'll be held responsible if something goes wrong after you talk nonsense."
He sensed Smoker's presence as soon as he came out, so he simply came over.
"No, I mean, is the Warring States Marshal really that short?"
"..."
You'll never get a promotion in your life. Is that even human language?
Smoker, cigar in mouth, seemed oblivious to the inappropriateness of his words. "You've done something big. That old man didn't even scold you for half a day. Is it because he's about to retire, so everything has slowed down?"
"It's a bad habit to speculate about your superiors, Smoker. Instead of caring about that, you, who crave status, why are you still at headquarters? Shouldn't you be out hunting down pirates?"
Kuro walked over and casually took a cigar from Smoker's jacket pocket.
"Hey, Kuro! You clearly have someone better than me." Smoker's forehead creased with annoyance.
"Can those be the same?"
Kuro said, "My things are mine to begin with, but when I take something from you, it becomes mine instead of yours. Do you understand that feeling?"
He lit a cigar, patted Smoker on the shoulder, and said, "Don't worry about the details. Come on, let's go get a drink."
"I have to pay again?"
Smoker's face fell immediately. He looked around and, seeing that Lida wasn't there, breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, have a drink. I also wanted to say something."
"That's exactly what I've been waiting for. Hey, Chloe, go and call Lida over. There's food here."
Kuro snapped his fingers, and Smoker's face fell again after he had just breathed a sigh of relief.
No matter how hard you try to dodge, you can't escape the tricks.
"Smoker, what's wrong? Are you constipated? Is the excrement you excrete also smoke?" Kuro asked.
"That's enough, Kuro!"
Smoker rubbed his forehead. "Alright, alright, it's on me. Let's go."
...
Inside a restaurant in the city square.
This place was lucky; it wasn't damaged in the previous war, so many naval personnel who came to rest and recuperate had a place to eat and refresh themselves.
A table was now laden with food, and Lida's hands moved like blurs as she devoured it.
Chloe was cutting a small steak with a very gentlemanly air.
Smoker and Kuro were drinking there.
Smoker downed his drink in one gulp, let out a long sigh, and said, "I'm off to the New World."
"A new world?"
Kuro paused for a moment, then picked up the bottle and filled his glass. "Then I wish you a safe arrival. Don't get stuck there; I don't have many friends."
Cloth wholeheartedly agrees with this.
Most people who are scammed like this by you will either go broke or be beaten to death; those who survive are just lucky.
At least he, Kroos, has taken the blame for so many things and is still alive, which is something to be proud of.
“The New World... Straw Hat Luffy is still alive. He will definitely go to the New World. If I go there, I will be closer to this goal. He escaped from me in the East Blue and caused such a great threat. I am responsible, so I must catch him.”
"Come help me, Kuro."
Smoker took another sip and said to Kuro, "With your strength, if you come with me to G-5, you'll definitely be able to intimidate those Marines."
The G-5 navy is notorious worldwide for its chaotic state.
The people there are known as the most pirate-like marines, all notorious criminals; basically, all the scum of the navy are there.
"ha?"
Kuro paused for a moment, then said strangely, "Are you sure you're not mistaken? Smoker, I'm going to the New World? If you don't like me and want me dead, just say so."
He would never go to the New World. The Grand Line already has so many strange and powerful people and ability users, let alone the New World. Why would he go there?
"I'm telling you, don't mess with me. I'm trying to get back to the East China Sea. If you mess with me again this time, I promise you'll never want to know the consequences."
Kuro said viciously.
The last time they tricked him, they really screwed him over. If it weren't for this Smoker thing, he would have been living the high life in the East Blue long ago.
