Chapter 293 The ultimate simp gets everything he wants in the end.

The merchant and his crew boarded a ship and sailed out to sea.

"I will definitely come back!"

The merchant turned his head and looked in the direction of Pegasus Town, his face filled with deep resentment and unwillingness.

Then he saw the seawater surge back, and the few merchant ships that had been left behind were swept up by the seawater and rose into the sky together.

Following their leader's words, the people nearby shouted towards the opposite shore, "We will definitely come back!"

Snap!

The merchant smacked him on the head.

The subordinate held his head in grievance, "Boss, did I say something wrong? Why did you hit me?"

Are you blind?

Those ships had all flown into the sky; some of the navy personnel could easily annihilate them.

This is at sea; if the ship were to capsize, it's uncertain whether he would survive!

But I can't say that.

Even if he fails, he must maintain the dignity of a caravan leader and a boss.

"Set sail, let's go back first. I'll show him what it's like to offend someone with connections. Once he's demoted, I'll tell the Joker. I'll make this navy man understand the true horror of the underworld!" the merchant said through gritted teeth.

"Keep the heavy artillery for coastal defense, divide the muskets and lead bullets among yourselves, and I'll gladly accept the swords."

Kuro had just launched the ship into the sky when he snapped his fingers. A clump of soil rose up from the ground, carrying with it the piled-up weapons.

"Hey, you don't need to touch anything anymore?" Lida asked suspiciously.

This guy seems to have been sent straight into the sky without even touching a weapon, although he used the soil as a medium.

"It seems... we don't need it anymore."

Kuro shook his hand, felt it for a moment, and confirmed, "We really don't need it anymore."

By focusing on a single point and expanding outwards, although he still uses physical strength to control things, his precise manipulation allows him to influence other objects through a medium.

These are all experiences gained through manipulating seawater.

"So hentai again..."

Lida couldn't help but say, "Hey, Kuro, can you tone it down a bit? If you get any stronger, I won't be able to keep up."

"What do you mean I'm strong? How am I strong?"

Kuro was a little indignant. Why did people always think he was strong? In this world of great exploration, strength meant having a flag, didn't they know that?

Those who are strong are the ones who get beaten and defeated.

Take Doflamingo, for example. He was powerful, with an incredibly high level of prestige, but he was still defeated by a pirate who had only been in the business for a few years.

Look at Whitebeard, the strongest man in the world, he still died, didn't he?

A strong person?

The rule of this world is that the strong must die.

Lida looked at Kuro with disdain as he uttered the same old tunes as "I'm not strong," "I couldn't cut down the Red Line with one strike," and "I can't beat the Four Emperors."

This person is unreliable; just take what they say with a grain of salt.

Cass, on the other hand, found a notebook from somewhere and listened to Kuro's speech while nodding as if he understood something. He then wrote something down in the notebook.

Kuro leaned closer and took a curious look. The page was filled with Kuro's quotes.

It includes everything from his past pronouncements of justice to his current pronouncements of 'lack of strength,' including his own annotations.

"What's the use of you memorizing this?" Kro asked curiously.

"These are Colonel Kuro's words. From his words, one can understand his ambition. I am the man who will make Colonel Kuro a general. There are some things I must do!"

Cass put away the notebook, carefully tucking it into his arms like a precious treasure.

Kro: "..."

You're so awesome, does Mr. Kuro know that?

“You remind me of a phrase? One that Mr. Kuro often says,” Kuro said.

“What is it, Mr. Crow? Please tell me.” Cass said earnestly.

"A simp who keeps fawning will eventually have everything." Chloe pushed up her glasses.

He didn't understand what that meant before, but now, seeing Cass's behavior, he felt he understood it a little.

"Simp?"

Cass paused for a moment, then asked in confusion, "A canine creature? They have everything? I'm truly envious. Is it a legendary creature?"

"It seems so... I'm not quite sure either. Maybe it's a legendary creature. Mr. Kuro has always known a lot about it."

Kro spoke as if he understood but not quite.

"What are you two talking about? Hurry up and get things organized and distribute the weapons properly."

Kuro spoke to Kro and Cass, then turned and walked toward the naval base.

With his adjutant there, he didn't need to worry about these things; Kro would handle them. Not to mention Cass, who used to be his adjutant, the two of them were enough.

"Lida, do you remember the Flower Kingdom and the Insect Kingdom?"

Back at the base, in his office, Kuro, with a cigar in his mouth, looked at Rita, who was rummaging through snacks, and asked...

Lida shook her head, found a bag of potato chips, tore it open, ate a chip, and said, "I have no recollection of it."

"Do you want to go?"

"Hmm...whatever, I don't mind." Lida ate her potato chips, looking completely indifferent.

She genuinely didn't care.

After struggling to survive for ten years, family no longer holds any weight in her heart.

She's not the type to dwell on past pain. Unlike Robin, whose life is haunted by childhood trauma, she's more carefree, or rather, her past life didn't allow her to be.

Only after meeting Kuro will this kind of life improve.

As for things like having deep-seated grudges, a dark past, or being unable to forget one's parents...
