Chapter 31 Why are you chasing me!

Kuro knew that he was no match for Crocodile, so he just watched from the sidelines when he saw them fighting.

Yes, just watching from the sidelines.

Why get involved in this mess? Going out to help would just expose yourself.

However, when Kuro was really on the verge of collapse, Kuro did help him out.

That 'eye sword' was released by him.

Like 'Crushing Pressure', this is a killing intent-based move, a mental attack. His original purpose was just to slow down Crocodile, giving him time to escape. He was even prepared to go and rescue him. Unexpectedly, Crocodile actually stopped.

Kro collapsed to the ground, staring blankly at the sky, muttering to himself:

"I was wrong, I was really wrong. I shouldn't have agreed to join the Navy. If I hadn't joined the Navy, I wouldn't have met Crocodile, and I wouldn't be in this situation."

"Mr. Kuro!"

Tashigi then gathered the navy and followed. Fortunately, the navy suffered no casualties, only some unlucky ones who bumped into the edges of the ruins and sustained minor injuries, but their overall momentum remained undiminished.

"That was...?"

"Oh, it's nothing, just a new sandstorm. You lead the team to Albana. Lida and Klo, you two come together. I have something to take care of."

Kuro took the [Flower State] from Krona, tossed it at his waist, and said.

"yes!"

Dashi saluted and led her people toward Albana.

Because they were also riding mounts, and their speed was not slow, they quickly turned into plumes of dust.

Watching them drive away, Kuro sighed, "What a hassle."

He almost didn't make it out to be safe.

This clearly shows that Crocodile knew of Kuro's existence, saw him as a threat, and wanted to eliminate him beforehand.

"Even if the name Kro is famous, no one should know that I came to Alabasta. Did someone hear me? Nico Robin? Luckily I disguised myself beforehand."

Kuro thought about it and figured that was probably it.

He somewhat regretted agreeing to come to Alabasta with Smoker; wouldn't it have been better to just go straight to headquarters?

However, there are solutions.

His range of Observation Haki is very wide.

In the air, Crocodile reappeared and saw the navy rapidly advancing towards Albana. He then gathered a sandstorm in his hand.

"Sandstorm..."

That man must not be allowed to go to Albana, or the plan will be greatly affected!

Just as he was about to attack, a golden slash shot into the sky, cleaving Crocodile's body in two.

call!

The sand recombine, and Crocodile, his face grim, stared in one direction ahead. "Are you still there? Were you waiting for me on purpose?"

He couldn't see it, but that slash couldn't be fake.

Sure enough, that Krok had the ability.

"Then I'll settle this here!"

Crocodile transformed into sand, preparing to fly towards the direction of the slash.

However, at that moment, another golden slash flew over and cut Crocodile in two.

"you..."

He had barely gathered his strength and hadn't even had time to react when another slash appeared.

Immediately afterwards, like wind blades, countless golden slashes swept in, cleaving Crocodile into pieces.

However, for Logia-type users, this kind of slash is only a troublesome addition and serves no other purpose.

But that's enough.

Outside the rain-soaked ground, Kuro unleashed a slash with his sword, continuously swinging it.

There was no one in the rainy area except Crocodile. Kuro's Observation Haki allowed him to sense him, and he unleashed a slash that severed Crocodile.

Who knows how strong the Seven Warlords of the Sea are? What if Crocodile has a backup plan? Even if he doesn't, he doesn't want to have anything to do with these freaks.

Anyway, you can't see me, you don't know who I am, I'll just keep swinging my sword and dragging you along.

This is my Kuro's security strategy!

Crocodile, on the other hand, felt very uneasy, wondering what was going on with that flying slash.

He was like a lone boat in a storm, silently enduring the blows that tore his body apart, constantly recovering, only to be torn apart again.

The attack frequency is too high, like rain; once you're hit, there's no way to dodge.

Even though he is a Logia-type, he is unable to move and can only silently endure the constant destruction of his physical form.

"Are you waiting for the Navy to leave completely? That's your weakness, Kuro. After swinging the Flying Slash so many times in a row, you must be getting tired!"

Crocodile reconsidered and stopped worrying. If there's a weakness, there's a way to deal with it.

Even a great swordsman couldn't maintain that level of intensity for long.

However, he soon realized that his earlier thought was somewhat ridiculous.

I, Kuro, can spend a whole day cutting down a mountain.

Kuro continued to swing his sword continuously from day to night, only stopping when the sky was dotted with stars.

Because he sensed that Crocodile had given up.

Goodbye.

Kuro sheathed his sword and slipped away.

The rain-soaked ground was so badly damaged that it was unrecognizable.

Crocodile lay on the ground. He had given up resisting long ago. From initial anticipation to shock, anger, and helplessness, he had finally given up completely.

He had never seen anyone capable of unleashing such a barrage of attacks all day long.

Even though he's a natural-type, he's starting to feel pain in his body now, as if his whole body is being torn apart.

That wasn't a real wound; it was phantom pain caused by being cut repeatedly.
