Chapter 317 'Timely Rain' Kuro

Kuro glanced at him, then looked at the group of men in black behind him.

We just managed to escape a World Government official, and now a CP (Contender) has appeared?

Are they here to wait for him?

"When will the CP be able to recruit the Navy?" Kuro asked.

“Lucille, this concerns the Revolutionary Army. No matter what organization it is, the interests of the World Government must come first. I think you understand that.”

The CP member said coldly, "I remember sending staff to look for you before, didn't you encounter them? In any case, let's arrest the Revolutionary Army first."

"Oh...then you've got the wrong person. Kuro is over there. My name is Kuro."

Kuro pointed at Kuro and said to him, "Hey, Kuro, the World Government wants you to capture the Revolutionary Army. Why don't you take some men and go?"

Kro: "..."

"Stop joking, Lucilfer Kuro. We know you and hope you'll cooperate with our operation," the CP member said.

Kuro slowly took the cigar from his mouth, flicked off the ash, and said, "You know me? If you knew me, would you dare talk to me like that? Which department are you from?"

“We are CP3, and I am the special operations captain here. In terms of rank, I am a major general. Is it not enough for me to command a colonel like you?”

The CP3 captain couldn't help but ask, "Or are you saying you want to defy the World Government's orders?"

Kuro rolled his eyes. "Don't jump to conclusions. I'll complain to the World Government. I don't know anything about this Major General level you're talking about. We're not in the same system."

"You have no right to order me around unless my superiors give me an order. If you're so capable, have Admiral Kizaru come and talk to me personally. Now, get out of my way."

Kuro shoved the man in black aside and walked toward the warship.

"Someone, call the Luo family and ask them if they're still going to give us face. If they don't, I'm going home!"

"Hey, you..."

The captain's face darkened with anger, and he reached out to grab Kuro's shoulder, when suddenly a hand grabbed his wrist.

Kro appeared beside him, grabbed his wrist, and sneered, "What are you going to do to our colonel?"

"Do you want to defy the World Government's orders?!" the captain roared angrily.

"Stop talking nonsense to me."

Kuro said impatiently, "How do I know if you're real or fake? What if you use a fake document to fool me and make me deal with the real World Government's intelligence agency, trying to expel me from the Navy?"

After saying that, he suddenly paused, his eyes lighting up: "Yes, that's it!"

"What if you're the real revolutionary? You want to trick me into joining the revolutionaries, then scheme to make me and my colleagues kill each other, forcing me to give up my naval status and have no choice but to rebel?"

"Think about it, the CP and our navy are on the same level. We're all on good terms and working together for world peace. How can they just conscript people like that? That's disrespectful to our navy. What if I fall for their trap and end up back on the mountain? Am I supposed to call myself 'Timely Rain' Kuro?"

"Let's create another 'Black Storm' Kro, or 'Star of Wisdom' Kro, and gather a bunch of 'Leopard Leaders' and 'Walking Heroes' to rebel against the World Government? Heh, I'm not falling for that!"

Kuro waved his hand: "Anyway, I won't go without orders. If you bother me again, I'll arrest you as a revolutionary soldier."

"You unreasonable idiot!"

The captain was trembling with anger. He said "good" several times, shook off Kuro's hand, walked to the side, and dialed a phone while staring at Kuro.

"Pop..."

Kuro's Den Den Mushi suddenly rang. Kuro quickly turned it off, pretending nothing had happened, and looked up at the sky.

"Colonel Lucilfer Kuro, it's your phone," the captain said.

Kuro immediately retorted, "What phone call? I didn't hear the phone. Stop playing tricks on me. Kuro, have the people on the ship get ready. We're leaving."

Just kidding, he's sick and going against the Revolutionary Army, there's no benefit to him.

Besides, they don't really have any interaction. He fights his pirates and lives his comfortable life, while the Revolutionary Army plays the game of overthrowing the World Government and the Celestial Dragons.

Does it matter?

What do the Celestial Dragons have to do with me? I don't have the word 'Saint' in my name.

The captain pursed his lips, glared at Kuro with resentment, and continued making the call.

"Boom boom boom..."

This time, the Den Den Mushi rang non-stop.

Kuro instinctively touched his wrist with a Den Den Mushi, but realized that the sound wasn't coming from his wrist.

Click.

Kuro heard the Den Den Mushi being answered and turned around to see the Navy officer in charge of communications carrying the Den Den Mushi to answer the call.

The Den Den Mushi transformed into a creature with a seagull on its head, a braided mustache, and round glasses, roaring as it spoke:

"Kuro!!!"

Kuro tilted his head back, revealing the expression of an old man using a cell phone on the subway from his past life, but he didn't move for a long time.

"Moshi moshi, Kuro, answer me! This is Sengoku!" The Den Den Mushi called out again when there was no response.

"Colonel Kuro?" The Marine walked over and handed over the Den Den Mushi. "It's Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

What the hell are you doing here?!

Kuro glared at the Marine, stared at the Den Den Mushi for a moment, took the receiver, stretched the phone cord out to a great distance from the Den Den Mushi, and said, "Moshi moshi, Sengoku-san."

"Kuro!!!"

The Den Den Mushi roared again, startling the navy officer, followed by a series of angry roars.
