"Should we just ignore him?"
At the highest clock tower in Albania, the man in charge of the artillery fire lay dead. Kuro and Lida looked down, Lida chewing on an apple as she spoke.
“I think nothing will happen. He just needs some training.”
Kuro sat on the high-rise platform, a cigar dangling from his lips, his eyes filled with indifference.
After the battle with Crocodile, Kuro learned a lesson.
Even if he wants to find someone to take the blame, he needs to improve his skills, otherwise he will be exposed soon and he will have to take action himself.
He planned to make two preparations: first, to keep himself stable, and to avoid promotion or meritorious service if possible.
Let's further improve Crocodile's strength so that he can handle situations like those against Crocodile.
Although he didn't want to run into those famous people, there's always the chance of something unexpected happening on this vast ocean.
He's already run into this twice.
If Kuro were just a little stronger, even if he couldn't handle a monster like the Seven Warlords of the Sea, as long as he didn't suffer a crushing defeat, he would be as stable as Mount Tai!
"Cloth, you can do it!"
Watching Kuro scurry away like a big black rat below, Kuro silently cheered him on.
"I really am..."
Facing the relentless onslaught, Kro dodged left and right, his mind in complete disarray.
What kind of nonsense is this!
There hasn't been a single good day since I joined the Navy!
boom!
A baseball nearly grazed his face, exploded in front of him, destroyed a building, and blocked his path.
"Dust Slash!"
"Thorn Meteor Hammer!"
"Home run!"
Senior officials seized the opportunity and launched their attacks.
Now... there's no escaping it.
Kro's pupils constricted, and his legs seemed to tremble.
Kuro, above, pushed with his thumb, revealing a glint of blade light, and gripped the hilt with his right hand.
However, at that moment, the dark figure suddenly took to the air, and all the attacks struck the ruins of the building.
Kro leaped into the air, his feet seemingly treading on thin air, stomping several times before flying over everyone's heads and then crashing down.
When he landed, he paused for a moment, then pushed off with his legs and ran away in a flash.
"What's going on? How can he be flying in the air?"
Bonis was visibly taken aback, then his face darkened: "Are you playing us for fools?"
"Hey Kuro, look! Kuro just flew up!"
Lida stared wide-eyed, incredulous at what she had just witnessed.
"Moonwalk... he's self-taught."
Kuro was also somewhat surprised, but upon reflection, it seemed inevitable.
After all, this is someone who created a move similar to 'Shave' without a teacher, and now that he has learned 'Shave', it seems normal that he would be forced to use the advanced 'Moonwalk' to his limit.
Sure enough, this man made the right choice in recruiting.
If you push him a little harder, he might just learn all six techniques on his own.
When people are pushed to the limit, they'll do anything. Look, it's even flying now.
However, judging from Kro's appearance, he seems to be almost out of strength.
"Kuro, the battle has reached a stalemate. The fighting over there is getting fierce, and they're not caring about anything anymore." Lida stared directly at the battlefield ahead.
Unlike before when they were still somewhat restrained, the royal army and the rebel army are now fighting like madmen, completely enraged and disregarding everything else.
Kuro came to Albana because of this situation; otherwise, he could have just caused Crocodile to fail.
But some things... cannot be glossed over.
Kuro doesn't care about the military; those who join the military naturally have a mission and responsibility to sacrifice themselves, but innocent people cannot.
No matter how the tides of time surge, they cannot overturn the mainland.
Even if a dog with a brain gets beaten up again, it shouldn't harm innocent people.
He's a person with normal values, and the more normal he is, the more he dislikes people who act out of order.
Kuro straightened up and assumed an iaido stance.
"One-Sword Style: Ultimate Crushing Pressure!"
Hua Zhou drew his sword, its blade, adorned with fiery cloud patterns, and slashed down with a single stroke.
The killing intent transformed into a wide-ranging mental shockwave, descending straight down from the sky.
The tens of thousands of troops froze in that instant.
The two sides that were fighting each other stopped.
A soldier of the King's army was thrusting a spear at a rebel soldier in front of him, while behind him, a rebel soldier was slashing down with a sword in both hands.
In that instant, everything froze.
Thump.
As the first person fell, it triggered a chain reaction, like dominoes collapsing, and from above, a dark mass gradually collapsed.
"What's going on?!"
Bonnie stared upwards with trepidation, feeling as if he were about to die.
Apart from him, all the other senior officers had fainted and were no longer able to pursue and kill Kro.
Where did this powerful figure come from?!
He was on good terms with the others. As a well-known bounty hunter in the West Sea, he had killed quite a few people and was better able to understand what that aura was.
Bonnie broke out in a cold sweat.
Albana, a killing machine has infiltrated!
"You really are..."
The attack was swung downwards and didn't hit Lida, but even just grazing her made her break out in a cold sweat out of instinct.
“If it weren’t for the pungent smell, I would have thought you were a decent man.” Lida gave him a deep look.
"Where did you learn this? This is murderous aura, murderous aura, what kind of smell is this? It's too strong." Kuro gave Lida a flick on the forehead and said irritably.
Bang!
The ground suddenly shattered, and Crocodile was pushed into the air by two long arms, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
