Chapter 379 Hurry up and pull it out!

"Huh? Kuro?"

The old navy man, Garp, glanced at Sazir's bruised and swollen face and burst into laughter:

"Haha, long time no see, you're getting beaten up again."

Sazir pursed his lips, swallowing back the greeting he was about to say. His face flushed red, veins bulging on his forehead, as he argued, "It wasn't being beaten. How can something involving the Navy be called being beaten? I was training..."

Then came a string of incomprehensible phrases, such as 'training will make you stronger' and 'this is basic training,' which made Garp laugh even harder.

"Vice Admiral Garp, it's been a long time."

Kuro, who had been stepping on him, withdrew his foot, straightened his collar, walked over, and asked in confusion, "Looking for Mr. Kuro? On a mission?"

"Haha, I've already retired, so I don't have any missions to carry out anymore. I'm just here to relax!"

Garp laughed and said, "The one who's going to carry out the mission is Koby. Hey, Koby, come here."

Coby then walked over and politely said to Chloe, "It's been a long time, Mr. Chloe!"

"Hmm, long time no see. You're wearing a cloak now." Kro was somewhat surprised to see the cloak behind Koby.

"yes!"

Koby laughed, "I'm a major now!"

Major...

Kro raised an eyebrow and re-examined Koby. Wasn't he on the same level as himself?

"And me, I'm already a captain!" Bellemere walked over and said arrogantly.

"Major, not bad. Keep up the good work."

Major Crowe patted Coby on the shoulder in a senior-like tone.

"Yes! I will continue to work hard!" Koby stood up straight and shouted.

"Hey, pay attention to me! Pay attention to this old man!" Bellemere shouted, veins bulging.

"Helmeppo, Coby, it's been a long time."

With a bruised and swollen face, Sazir stood up, dusted himself off, and said very calmly.

"Oh! Kuro, I came in and saw Kuro hitting you, hahaha, what bad luck!"

Bellumeber mocked mercilessly.

“Yes, Mr. Sazel is the same at headquarters; he’s often pulled in for training,” Koby said with a suppressed laugh.

Sazier's face immediately fell, and he said fiercely, "Do you want to spar with me, Helmeppo!"

Why look for him? Of course, it's because he's the only one he can beat; even Coby is someone he can't beat!

gas!

"Tch, I don't have time to spar with you. I'm here to do serious business," Bellmeber said, scoffing.

"Oh right, we're here to see Mr. Kuro. Is he here?" Coby remembered and stopped catching up, asking.

"Mr. Kuro?"

This was obviously not referring to Sazir, and he knew it wasn't about him, so he remained silent. It was Kro who responded.

Upon hearing the name, Kuro's face darkened. He pointed upwards and said, "Mr. Kuro is in his office. Wait, I'll go with you."

As he spoke, he walked into the building next door, and soon came out carrying a tray.

There were two drinks on it.

"What's going on?" Koby asked, somewhat puzzled.

Kuro pursed his lips. "I'll get Mr. Kuro two drinks... Honestly, there are other Marines out there, why did they choose me!"

The thought of this made him somewhat angry.

Fortunately, I beat up 'Kuro' earlier, which made me feel a little better.

Clod led the group into the fortress. The interior of the naval fortress was also magnificent and very spacious.

“This place was originally just converted from residential houses. Later, as the area developed, Mr. Kuro renovated it, and it became what it is today.”

Kro carried the tray, talking as he walked.

Naval bases don't have a uniform design; some are as simple as those in Loguetown, while others are as grand as those in Branch 153, since they don't have the 'G' prefix.

At the very top of the base, there was only one office. When Kro arrived, he heard a crisp sound coming from inside.

"Kuro, hurry up!"

"Don't rush, it's more effective if you go slowly."

"But I can't take it anymore, please pull it out!"

"Everyone says not to rush, but I'm drawing it out, and look, it's out!"

Kuro pushed open the door and saw Kuro and Lida sitting face to face. There were piles of tall building blocks on the table. Kuro was quickly pulling a block out from the bottom. He smiled happily when he saw that the block did not fall over.

"Alright! Your turn, Lida."

"Tch, it didn't fall over? Watch this!"

Lida rolled up her sleeves, ready to pull out a block, but as soon as she touched it, the block shook and collapsed with a snap.

"Hahaha, you lost!" Kuro pointed at her and laughed triumphantly.

"What's so great about it? Let's go again, I won't lose this time!" Lida pouted, looking annoyed.

As she spoke, she saw Chloe enter the room, and her eyes lit up. "Chloe, you're finally here! Quick, give me the drink, hey?"

"What's wrong, Lida?"

Kuro was facing away from the door, reassembling the blocks. When he saw her freeze, he instinctively turned around to look.

"Hahaha, Kuro, you little rascal, long time no see!" Garp walked in first, laughing loudly.

"Ka, Garp?"

Kuro instinctively dropped the building blocks from his hands. He paused for a moment, then exclaimed, "What are you doing here?!"

"I'm here to relax. Quickly take out your rice crackers; I brought some tea with me."

Karp pulled a tea canister from his pocket.

Kuro rolled his eyes and said, "Do you think this is the Warring States period? There are no senbei here, and I don't like eating that stuff."
