"What?"
Kuro paused for a moment, "You mean I should directly command what?"
"Marineford, or rather, the new G-1."
Akainu asked, "Is there a problem?"
This is a huge problem!
“I said, even if I get promoted, I’ll only be a major general. To be the commander of a branch base that starts with G, you need to be at least a lieutenant general, and a senior lieutenant general at that. If you hand it over to me like this, the people below will be resentful.”
"This is an order; you just need to accept it. I will send a base commander to Marineford, but you also have direct command authority. There aren't many people I can delegate the first half to; they've all gone to the New World. Only you can do it. If it weren't for the World Government..."
At this point, Akainu's expression turned angry again. He pursed his lips and said, "Anyway, that's it. Accept the orders. You should set off for Sabaody Archipelago."
Kuro opened his mouth, but found himself unable to say the words he wanted to discuss it further. This was Akainu, not Kizaru; if he continued to argue, he might end up in the New World.
"Farewell!"
Kuro spat out a sentence through gritted teeth, then got up and left.
Watching his departing figure, Akainu closed his eyes slightly and clenched his fists again.
Kuro harbors resentment.
But Akainu believed this was the right thing to do.
Anyone would feel resentful if they encountered something like this.
If it weren't for the World Government's requirement, this powerful figure would have gone to the New World with him long ago. Even if he went as a Rear Admiral, given his ruthless nature of killing any pirate, a promotion would have been inevitable.
However, Akainu cannot say this explicitly.
He's not like that.
He should bear the consequences of what the World Government has done; no explanation is needed.
So Akainu came up with another plan: even if Kuro was temporarily 'confined' to Sabaody Archipelago, there were other ways.
Command of Marineford, as the new G-1 branch, is responsible for protecting Mary Geoise. This branch is certainly not weak. Originally, it should have been given to a senior lieutenant general, but in order to promote Kuro earlier, he gave him this power.
With this power, those foolish pirates will surely be wiped out.
At that point, even the world government will have no reason to stop it.
That man, with his strength and character, will definitely succeed.
Kuro was the only one unaware of this. If he knew Akainu's thoughts, he would argue and try to relinquish command.
Kuro left with sadness in his heart.
He went to get promoted with a sullen face again.
When he set sail for Chambord, his face was still sullen.
No one dared to flirt with him at this time.
At least Kro wouldn't dare.
He had been 'specially trained' by Kuro during his time on Pegasus Island, and thinking back on it now still makes his body ache.
As for Sazir beside him...
"hiss..."
He gasped, instinctively touching his face, which was swollen like a pig's head. He had been "specially trained" by Kro.
Even though he used Armament Haki, he still couldn't escape his fate of being beaten.
but...
Sazir stretched out his hand, gathering his domineering aura in his fingers, and his domineering aura increased.
"Just you wait, the day I become stronger, I will definitely pay for it!" he thought fiercely.
"You're injured? Try the new medicine."
Fanny walked over, took out a medicine bottle, and waved it at Sazir. "This is my new experiment. It can quickly heal external injuries, whether it's a knife wound or a fist wound, it can heal instantly."
"That's amazing?"
Sazir's eyes lit up, and he snatched the medicine away, pouring it onto his hand and applying it to his face.
"Wow! It's really fast, and it's ice-cold."
Sazir said strangely, "The pain has subsided considerably."
"Huh? That's amazing, Sazir, your wounds are gone!" Lida exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah?"
Sazir looked around, then waved to the navy warships escorting them to Sabaody, saying, "Bring me a mirror."
Before long, a navy officer handed him a mirror. When Sazir saw it, his eyes widened in surprise. The person in the mirror had a completely healed face.
"You really did recover! Fanny, your medicine is amazing..."
Sazir smiled excitedly, but as soon as he finished speaking, his smile widened and turned into wild laughter.
"...Great, hahahahaha!"
Sazir threw his head back and laughed maniacally, "Great! Fantastic! I'm so excited, I'm so crazy!!"
"Sazil, what's wrong with you?" Kro asked coldly.
"Hahahaha, Kro, hahaha, sir, hahahaha!" Sazir laughed wildly.
If said alone, there's nothing wrong with it, but when mixed with laughter, it sounds very ironic.
Especially now that Kuro is still remembering the time when he was trained by Kuro and was in a bad mood.
"Do you want to be trained again?! Kuro!" Kuro's temples bulged with veins as he spoke in a deep voice.
"Hahahaha, Chloe, hahaha, sir, haha, I don't..."
Before Sazir could finish his sentence, Kro, sensing the sarcasm, grabbed him by the collar and dragged him to the back. "Come on, looks like I didn't train you enough yesterday!"
Fanny nodded in agreement, then pulled out her notebook and started writing: "Is the side effect that it makes people laugh uncontrollably? Looks like I need to make some improvements."
Kuro: "..."
"What happened?" he asked.
"Huh? You didn't know?"
Lida said, "Fanny's potion is effective, but it has side effects. Last time on Runaway Island, wasn't that what happened because the Guardian Ape picked up the potion?"
