"Mr. Kuro, Mr. Kuro!"
Kuro, transformed into a giant werewolf, arrived at the office building with a dying assassin in his hand, just in time to see Kuro and Lida.
"I've discovered the murder..."
Before he could finish his sentence, his eyes widened in surprise as he saw three people dressed in naval uniforms, skewered like skewers, next to Kuro. On the ground lay a naval corpse bound with dung, bleeding profusely.
The black-haired youth standing there, cigar in mouth, looked quite displeased.
Kuro's expression was calm, so calm that it evoked the gloom and silence before a storm.
"Glug—"
Kro swallowed hard, then casually crushed the assassin he had caught, his tail drooping. He lowered his head and said, "It's my fault for not managing things properly. I failed to control Chambord, which led to the assassin's invasion."
“It has nothing to do with you... Lida,” Kuro said in a deep voice.
"oh."
Lida walked up to Kro and patted him on the shoulder. "Turn off the transformation. It's too much trouble for me to heal someone this big."
Upon hearing this, Kro immediately deactivated his transformation and reverted to human form, casually discarding the assassin in his hand.
"Energy feedback!"
Lida pressed on Kro's body, and the energy ball formed from her essence was inserted into Kro's body from her hand, causing the wounds on his chest and back to gradually heal.
“Actually, it’s not necessary. I’m a Zoan-type, so I have strong vitality. This kind of injury is unnecessary,” Kro said, adjusting his glasses.
"Why didn't you say so earlier!"
Lida rolled her eyes and waved her little fist in front of Chloe: "I've already finished treating you and you're saying this now? Believe me or not, I'll hit you!"
"Forehead..."
Kuro scratched the back of his head, changing the subject, and said, "Mr. Kuro, these assassins came to me using Cass as an excuse. Could it be that Cass...?"
There's no need to worry.
Kuro closed his eyes slightly and said calmly, "Cass has arrived."
No sooner had he finished speaking than a white phantom appeared not far away, moving so fast it was like a blur, quickly approaching Kuro and the others.
The phantom stopped, revealing Cass's figure.
At this moment, Cass had injuries to his forehead, mouth, and shoulder. He was carrying a knocked-out assassin in one hand, and with his other injured hand, he saluted. "Mr. Kuro! I've found the assassin, he..."
Bang!
With a flick of his index finger, Kuro sent a finger gun piercing the assassin's forehead.
Cass put the assassin's body down in astonishment and looked at Kuro in bewilderment.
"I don't want any survivors!" Kuro said menacingly.
As he spoke, he reached out and hooked his hand. Cass frowned, and a spindle-shaped bullet flew out of the wound on his shoulder and landed in Kuro's palm.
"Not a single one!"
Kuro gripped the bullet tightly, making a muffled thud. When he released it, the bullet had been crushed into a lump of mud and fell to the ground.
"Let me treat you first, Cass."
Lida then came to Cass and used a 'spirit feedback' to heal his injuries.
"oh!!"
Cass swung his arm in surprise, his eyes widening as he exclaimed, "So this is Miss Lida's ability? How convenient!"
As he spoke, tears welled up in his eyes again. "Miss Lida, you are so kind to treat me, someone who was injured even though I couldn't handle something like this!"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Lida twitched the corner of her mouth and moved a little further away from the inexplicably agitated bearded man.
"Major Admiral Kuro!"
At this moment, Wilbur arrived, panting, with a group of sailors.
"I just heard a beast roar, this..."
Before he could finish speaking, he saw the corpses around him and his eyes widened.
"Colonel Cass, what happened to you... and Lieutenant Colonel Crowe, you're covered in blood too, what happened?!"
The injuries have been treated, but the bloodstains are still there.
Lida, too, had a patch of blood on her arm.
"I was assassinated."
Cass spoke frankly, then paused, "It wasn't just me; Mr. Crow, Miss Lida, and even Mr. Kuro all seem to have been assassinated."
"Assassination?! This..." Wilbur exclaimed in shock, "How is this possible? Someone would actually attempt to assassinate a Marine in Sabaody Archipelago?!"
“Wilbur…”
Kuro whispered, "Summon the entire navy."
"yes!"
Wilbur instinctively stood at attention before asking, "Major General Kuro, are you...?"
"search!"
Kuro narrowed his eyes. "From now on, Sabaody is under a state of alert. No one is allowed to leave the area at will. After the order is issued, arrest anyone who leaves without permission. If anything goes wrong, execute them. No need to ask anyone or care about their identity!"
"Kroo!"
"exist!"
Kro jumped and stood up straight.
"Send a telegram to Mary Geoise: From this moment forward, no Celestial Dragons are to be released. Say there are assassins in Sabaody Archipelago, or else..."
Kurosun gritted his teeth and said coldly, "I can't guarantee those idiots won't die here!"
Lida shut her mouth at this moment, not daring to speak, because Kuro was truly angry.
Anyone who knows Kuro even a little will know that his refusal to let the Celestial Dragons down wasn't because he was an assassin, but because he was in an extremely bad mood and might lose control if one of the Celestial Dragons did something stupid.
Can't you see that Kuro's eyes are all red now...?
Who would dare to provoke such bad luck at this time?
