Kuro finally settled down at the naval base in Sabaody Archipelago.
With Chambord already cleaned up, he didn't need to worry about the current affairs; Wilbur could handle the minor matters.
What Kuro needs to focus on now is improving his strength.

Inside the training ground, Kuro summoned all his subordinates, except for Cass and Donald, the 'hot-blooded straight man' duo who were away on Pegasus Island. Even Sentomaru was called over.
Kuro stood in front of everyone and addressed them one by one.
"You actually fell for this little assassination attempt the moment it happened! I've been constantly warning you about your safety! Just a few assassins, and you all got injured. If they weren't outmatched, you would have been finished long ago!"
Kuro pointed at Crowe and said, "Especially you! Kass is one thing, he's just a mortal, one person's strength is limited, yet he still managed to take down two of them, and you! You actually got injured! You're a Zoan type, do you know that?!"
"Damn it, aren't dogs supposed to have a very keen sense of smell and perception? How come you couldn't smell that hostility!"
“I am a wolf, Mr. Kuro…” Kuro lowered his head and argued softly.
"Dogs were wolves eight hundred years ago too, don't try to argue with me!"
Kuro cursed, then looked at Lida, "You..."
“You didn’t notice either, Kuro,” Lida said first.
“I know, but am I proud? No!” Kuro said.
Lida: "..."
Kro: "..."
"In short, you need to be more security conscious. I've noticed you're all too complacent, thinking that you're absolutely safe just because I'm here. I'm not even safe myself!"
Kuro looked at them and said with exasperation, "Look at you all, which one of you wasn't personally recruited by me, and which one of you I haven't met in person?"

"I know, some of you know how to enjoy life better than I do!"
That's not untrue; he now feels that his subordinates enjoy life much more than he does.

Kuro yelled at him, "You're always acting like a pushover! What, are the residents your sons or something? You're always running around getting people to greet you! Have you got a 'greeting disease'?"
Kro lowered his head, pursed his lips, and dared not answer.
"Sazil! I entrusted this mission to you, and you've taken this long to finish it! You're a Marine, not a gangster! What are you doing hanging out with that trash? Do you think you're so important?!"
Sazir lowered his head, trembling with fear.

"I... I'll try harder next time." Fanny felt dizzy.

"What? You're saying you're bad at cooking? And lecherous too?"
Kikyo nodded seriously. "I understand. You're a man."

Kuro rolled his eyes. Well, this superior-subordinate pair is a mess, the superior is hard to say, and the subordinate is hard to say either.

Kuro sighed again and said, "I haven't slept for three days and three nights..."
"Huh? Didn't you just wake up?" Lida asked, raising her hand.
"Eat your food and shut up!"
Kuro glared at her and continued, "I want to say a lot to you, but there's always an end to everything. So, I've decided that starting today, you will all need to train hard, and I will also give you a test. Frieza was able to become Golden Frieza after training for three or four months. What does that mean? It means that training can turn stone into gold!"
