Chapter 50 Colonel T. Penn

Inside the hotel, Kuro lay on the sofa, smoking a cigar and drinking red wine, occasionally glancing out the window at the distance.

This location offers a high vantage point, allowing a view of the main gate of Water Seven. With Kuro and Lida patrolling outside, they're sure to spot the Navy.

"I'm back."

The door opened, and Lida's voice rang out.

"Why are you back so early? Didn't I tell you to have more time to explore? Is it because you don't have enough money?"

Kuro spoke without turning his head, then suddenly his expression froze, and he turned to look at him. "The smell of blood... Did you kill someone?"

Lida pouted, "I ran into a few small-time pirates. The leader was worth 36 million. That guy was disgusting. He even wanted to take me to see goldfish."

"Looking at goldfish? That's really something. Were they cleaned properly?" Kuro asked.

"Don't worry, nobody saw it. I sank the ship and threw the people into the sea with the rocks. There's no way you'll get a promotion," Lida said.

Kuro gave a thumbs up. "Not bad, it has my flavor."

Thirty-six million, a small pirate on the Grand Line. Of course, in Kuro's eyes, this pirate was neither big nor small. But if no one saw them and they all sank to the bottom of the sea, then it didn't matter.

Anyway, no one saw it, and this pirate wasn't famous. He's dead, so he's dead. The world is one less menace, and many more innocent people are one less threat. How wonderful!

A few days later, Kuro spotted the Straw Hat crew's ship during a patrol and immediately recalled Lida and Kuro, who then stayed indoors at the inn and refused to go out.

This hotel is a high-end hotel, after all. It has a chef, and the room facilities are quite good. You can stay here and have food and drinks, so you don't need to go out to buy anything.

night.

Lida ate potato chips, a red dot flashing in her pupils as she used her Observation Haki to sense the entire Water Seven.

In the dead of night, most people are asleep, and their breaths are evenly distributed, except in a few places where the breaths are heavily piled up.

However, she couldn't see it, and it was too far away to sense the strength of its aura, so she could only guess to determine it.

It's not like Big Mom, whose Observation Haki has been developed to the point where she can see through things.

"Kuro, a number of people have arrived on the sea train."

Lida looked at Kuro.

This level of mastery made Clonor envious. He had been developing his Observation Haki for some time, but he could only be considered to have mastered it. He didn't know how much further he had to go before he could develop it to the point of covering the entire island.

"The Navy?"

Kuro also activated his Observation Haki. His Observation Haki was much more advanced than Lida's, and he could sense its strength even from a great distance.

"Hmm...that group of people are stronger than the average person, and there's even a master among them. Judging by their numbers, they should be from the Navy."

Kuro withdrew his Observation Haki and lazily lay down on the sofa. "Never mind, never mind, it'll be fine tomorrow."

...

Inside the government-owned maritime train, Bruno looked at the navy personnel inside and shook his head slightly: "No..."

"What do you mean, 'nothing'? Bruno, why are you blocking people's way? Is there something you haven't done?" Kaku asked suspiciously.

Kalifa elegantly pushed up her glasses. "Bruno, although you're slow-paced, you wouldn't be so careless about a mission, would you? You know Lucci hates people who aren't serious about missions."

"no..."

Bruno slowly shook his head: "No, those good marines haven't arrived yet. Are they late?"

He reached out and casually pulled in the air, and a door appeared.

"Wait me a moment."

He entered through the door and disappeared into the space.

Inside the hotel, Kuro had just withdrawn his Observation Haki when he suddenly froze. Lida and Kuro both looked toward a certain spot in the room.

There seems to be something there.

A door seemed to open in the air.

Bruno stepped out of the door, glanced at them, and said, "Haven't you left yet? You're late..."

What the hell are you doing here?!

Kuro twitched his lips, suppressing the urge to curse, and said, "Brother Bruno, what are you doing here?"

"To pick you up."

Bruno said, "You're late. Luckily I'm here. Now, let's go, or someone will be angry."

"I won't keep you from doing your mission. You should go quickly. It's not worth wasting your time on us. If the mission goes wrong because of us, it will be a burden and we'll feel guilty."

Kuro is still making efforts.

Devil Fruits: Power beyond miracles.

He knew Bruno's abilities were overpowered, but he never expected that this guy would actually open a door out of thin air just for them.

However, Bruno nodded in agreement after hearing this, "You were dissatisfied before, but now I have made amends. You are a good navy, and we must complete the mission together."

Bruno stepped aside. "Alright, let's go."

What the heck?!

I've been so low-key, and you'd rather use your abilities than let me off the hook?!

Kuro's temples bulged with veins. He took a few deep breaths and finally sighed helplessly, "Alright, alright, I'll go with you, okay?"

The group entered the air and arrived at a distorted space.

After walking just a few steps, they reached another door, and stepping out of the door, they arrived at the train carriage.

Kuro gasped, "The Devil Fruit power is terrifying!"

The Door-Door Fruit's most impressive trick is to open doors in the air, creating a new dimension.

Fruit is the top choice for those who want to dine and dash and stay at hotels without paying.

"This is the good navy I'm introducing to you."

Bruno closed the door and spoke to a navy officer wearing a helmet, scale armor, and carrying a sword on his back.
