Chapter 500 How will you get to sea?

The power that a single fruit can grant is enough to revolutionize the world.

However, if Sazir, who is most likely to want it, doesn't want it, then the others are even less likely to.

Kikyo wasn't interested in this, and Fanny felt she couldn't help her, since amplifying the potion was a dosage issue that she could handle herself.

Kuro could only tell Kro to put the fruit away and bring it back to the display case so that whoever wanted to eat it could take it.

He may scold his subordinates on a regular basis, but he never mistreats those he personally recruits; they are basically treated as his own people.

Except for Cass!

Yes! Except for Cass!

The warship continued its journey, crossing the sea and entering the doldrums.

Amazon lilies live in the doldrums.

The Calm Belt is close to the South China Sea, and as legitimate Shichibukai, their raiding areas encompass the first half of the Grand Line and the South China Sea.

As residents living in the Calm Belt, they are naturally stronger than others due to the presence of sea kings; otherwise, they would not be able to survive in the Calm Belt.

"Hey, Kuro, there's a very strong presence in that direction."

On the calm sea, Lida pointed to a nearby island from the deck and said.

It was a small island, and strangely enough, while the calm zone was experiencing clear skies, it was raining on that island.

"Irregular islands whose weather is altered by magnetic fields?"

A red dot appeared in Kuro's eyes as he used his Observation Haki to scan that area, and then he froze.

The island is filled with many auras, all of them fierce beasts, but among these beasts, two auras belong to humans.

He had sensed both of these auras before.

"So that's how it is..." Kuro murmured.

"What?" Lida tilted her head and asked.

“A certain idiot who wants to become the Pirate King, and the former Pirate King’s right-hand man,” Kuro said.

One is in Shanghai and the other is in Shenzhen. How can these two possibly hang out together?

"Eh..."

Lida thought for a moment and said, "Rayleigh and the Straw Hat Boy?"

"Straw Hat Boy?!"

Kro's ears twitched, and he rushed over, shouting, "Where?!"

Although he was forgiven by Kaya and continued to be a good guy in Syrup Village, he still harbored resentment towards Straw Hat Boy.

None of this would have happened without him.

His Observation Haki range wasn't enough; at this distance, he couldn't sense anything. But following the direction they were looking, Kro knew where they were.

“Mr. Kuro…” Kuro said, somewhat eager to try.

"Forget it."

Kuro lit a cigar. "That old man's annoying. We're going to pick up Boa Hancock, no need to play these snake games with him, but..."

He looked at the sea connecting the warship and the island, and exhaled a puff of smoke.

boom!

In the center of the sea, waves surged.

A colossal sea monster rose from the sea surface; its massive body made the three warships look like toy models in comparison.

"roar!!

The sea king opened its mouth, full of fangs, and roared at the warship. A gust of wind blew open, causing the warship's sails to be pulled backward.

"Wow, what a huge sea king!"

Hearing the noise, Sazir came out of the cabin and was immediately dumbfounded.

On the other side, Kikyo immediately drew her bow and aimed an arrow at the Sea King.

Kro's body tensed, his entire body covered in black fur, transforming him into a half-beast werewolf.

Lida put down the snacks, shook her hands, and stared intently at the sea king.

That's huge, no joke.

They could easily capsize at sea if they're not careful.

"It's really big. Is this a sea king from the calm zone?"

Kuro gripped the hilt of his sword with his right hand and chuckled, "Perfect, consider it a warning, lest this old man remain young at heart despite his advanced age."

brush!

A streak of black light flashed from his hand, but the action of gripping the hilt of the sword seemed to remain unchanged, the blade still inside the sheath.

The massive, black and gold slash erupted immediately after the black light flickered.

The surface of the slash was stained with a layer of crimson, making it look exceptionally ferocious.

After the slash was launched, Kuro didn't even look at it. He turned around with his hand on the hilt of his sword, letting the slash rush towards the Sea King. The violent wind it emitted whipped up his cloak.

Pfft!!!

The vertical slash struck the sea king's head as it roared, tearing its body, which was still above the surface, in two. The massive body split open and crashed onto the sea, staining the surrounding water red with blood.

The slash passed right past the sea kings and rushed towards the island at lightning speed.

...

On the island.

A boy with a blindfold covering his eyes was punching a robust, white-haired old man in front of him.

The bespectacled old man easily dodged the boy's punch. "Observation Haki isn't used like that. You need to be calmer and more careful. You're a bit agitated right now. You need to calm yourself down. Don't let time prevent you from calming down."

The fist was covered in dark Armament Haki.

"I understand, Rayleigh!"

The boy yelled and charged forward recklessly, his fists striking Rayleigh with lightning speed.

"You, you..."

Rayleigh smiled and shook his head, dodging the boy's attack. He shifted to the side, his wooden stick coated with Armament Haki, and was about to strike.

"later!"

The boy suddenly turned around, his calves now tinged with armor coloring, and kicked straight at the target.

"Not bad, but still a bit lacking. I can sense that..."
