Kuro narrowed his eyes. "Ghost girl?"
That woman was Perona.
"Why haven't you left yet!" Perona asked in surprise.
"That's a question you asked..."
Kuro, with a cigar in his mouth, said, "I'm stationed on this island. Which way do you want to go?"
"Wait, weren't you promoted to lieutenant general? You should be in the New World by now!"
"Clam?"
Kuro gave Perona a disapproving look. "Don't talk to me about that! Speaking of which... what the hell are you doing here? Weren't you with Hawkeye?"
"What's it to you?"
Perona, startled by that gaze, swayed back slightly and hid behind the parasol.
"You being on my island is none of my business. Don't think that just because you're with Hawkeye you can do whatever you want."
Kuro clicked his tongue and said in a gloomy tone, "Let me tell you, I'm not in a good mood right now. You'd better not mess with me, or I won't even give Mihawk any face!"
"I...I came to see someone off..." Perona said weakly.
"Who should I give it to?"
"It's just a gift to a friend. Hey, even the Navy wouldn't ask about everything, would they?" Perona protested.
Kuro stared at her for a moment, then beckoned, and two Marines came to his side.
