Chapter 567 The Navy Like Pirates

When Lily arrived at the port, she had already brought Chloe with her.

Kro held several paper bags in his hands, while Lida took out bread from one of the paper bags and started eating.

The bread looked very soft and had a faint aroma, as if it had just been baked.

"Hey, Lida, where have you been?"

Kuro and the others were at the port. Seeing Lida approaching, they couldn't help but ask.

"You went shopping? Let me tell you, Kuro, this is so delicious, want one?"

Lida said, holding up a loaf of bread.

"You bought something, and it's only just finished? It hasn't been that long, have you conveyed my message?" Kuro asked, somewhat disbelievingly.

Lida subconsciously glanced to the side and said, "I brought everything, and I've sent it all over."

"Yeah?"

Kuro frowned and glanced at her. "Did you really bring it?"

"Really!" Lida exclaimed guiltily, "Would I lie to you, Kuro? You should trust me the most when it comes to doing things."

Kuro stared at her for a moment, then said, "Fine, let's get on board. We're going to G-5 for a vacation—no, for a mission."

Lida doesn't seem to have really wronged him much. After all, they've been together for so long, and she was his first subordinate, whom he treated like his own daughter.

I don't usually contact her for anything, but if something suddenly comes up, I'm sure she can handle it well.

This is Kuro's only backup plan.

With his back covered in knives, he had to carefully consider which one to use. The sharpest and most unusable one was Cass.

The effect is very good, but the probability of it being stuck in one's back is also very high. No, it can't be called very high. Anyway, Kuro gets goosebumps whenever he's around, fearing that he might get stuck in his back one day.

Kro's performance was alright, but there's a high chance he'll get a stab.

As for the rest, Kikyo is deaf, and Clow generally doesn't bother her except when cooking, since he can't hear anything anyway.

Sazir... is useless.

Fanny is a clueless master of side-effect potions; what can you expect from her? The Navy is truly doomed.

Donald?

What's the point of having that kind of brain?

Currently, Wilbur is the one I'm using smoothly. He can definitely do whatever I ask, and there won't be any unexpected problems.

Then there's Lida. Although she has some minor flaws, they're nothing serious and there's no problem. As long as she's not used for a long time, she won't suffer any serious consequences. Kuro doesn't think such a small thing will happen.

It's just passing on a message. What kind of nonsense could she possibly pass on? Even if it reaches Kikyo, Kikyo can hear it clearly, and she can simply repeat it without any problem.

The three boarded a warship and headed to the location of Branch G-5.

The G-5 branch, located in the New World, is on par with G-1 and G-3. Although it lacks the prestige of G-1's upgrade to a main branch and doesn't have the naval hero status of G-3, G-5's infamy is still very well-known.

Simply put, the navy characters in the story are more like pirates.

They do everything except illegal things; they're involved in all sorts of other unpleasant activities.

He's a master of deception and swindling, fighting is a regular occurrence for him, and when he encounters pirates, it's like the pirates are eating each other up.

But their combat strength is beyond doubt.

After all, it was the headquarters stationed in the New World from the very beginning. No matter how dirty the navy there was, those who have survived to this day are all elites.

"Ugh, Kuro, why do I suddenly feel so hot?"

On the sea, Lida stuck out her little tongue, fanned herself with her little hands, and complained.

"The new world is full of unpredictable weather and is even more intense than the first half, which is normal."

Kuro lay on a deckchair on the deck, wearing sunglasses and shirtless, sunbathing.

"No, it's just inexplicably hot, way too hot..."

Lida fanned herself with her hands, looked around, her eyes widened, and pointed in a direction to the side, "Ah! It's that one!"

Kuro turned his gaze and saw an island, divided in half by ice and fire, appearing in his field of vision.

That island is half ice and snow, and half molten lava, as if they are separate territories, never blending together, clearly distinct.

“Oh... Punk Hazard, which means we're almost at G-5,” Kuro said after a moment’s thought.

He was also involved in the duel between Sakazuki and Kuzan at Punk Hazard.

Their current location is quite close to that lava field, no wonder Lida feels very hot.

"Change course and get away from Punk Hazard," Kuro instructed the marine standing beside him.

"Yes, Lieutenant General!"

The navy officer saluted and rushed over. Soon, the warship's course began to change, moving a little further away from Punk Hazard.

The location of the G-5 branch is not far in front of Punk Hazard.

After all, the World Government doesn't control a lot of territory in the New World, so it doesn't have much depth; it's just a small area.

After sailing for about four days, the warship arrived at the G-5 branch from the location of Punk Hazard.

“Mr. Kuro…”

Standing on the deck, Kro looked at the heavily fortified fortress that was gradually approaching and adjusted his glasses slightly.

"ah..."

Kuro was now dressed in a gold suit, his cloak billowing in the wind. He glanced ahead and frowned slightly. "It seems Smoker's leadership isn't quite there yet."

At the port ahead, a group of people were already waiting.

Leading them were Smoker and Tashigi.

Only they were dressed in relatively traditional clothing, wearing navy cloaks.

Beside them gathered a group of menacing-looking people.
