He lit a cigar, leaned back comfortably in his chair, and said to Lida, who was sitting on the sofa eating snacks, "I'll have Kikyo cook a nice meal later to celebrate."
“Oh.” Lida nodded obediently.
"I've called all my subordinates here. I'm in a good mood. By the way, where are Cass and Wilbur? I didn't see them when I came back earlier," Kuro asked.
Logically speaking, if they were there, they would have definitely greeted him when he returned earlier, but he didn't see them then.
But after so much time, he still hadn't seen it.
Patrols take a bit too long.
But nothing bad happened, because if something had happened, a report would have been filed.
“I don’t know…aren’t they both here?” Lida was taken aback.
Asking you is pointless.
Kuro rolled his eyes and called out, "Kuro, Kuro!!"
Before long, the door was quickly opened, and Kuro, catching his breath, pushed up his glasses and said, "Mr. Kuro, you wanted to see me?"
It looks like he came running over as soon as he heard the summons.
"What about Cass and Wilbur?"
"It seems he went to the Kingdom of Laya to handle some matters."
"The Kingdom of Raya?"
Kuro pondered for a moment and asked, "What does our navy have to do with any kingdom?"
“Mr. Kuro, the Kingdom of Raya is on the border of our G-3 jurisdiction and falls under our jurisdiction,” Kuro replied.
"That's the sea frontier, isn't it? We can't interfere with what's inside the kingdom. Are there pirates nearby?" Kuro asked.
"No, we heard that an enemy has invaded and the king of the Kingdom of Raya couldn't hold out any longer, so he came here for help. Cass and Wilbur decided to go and see what was going on since it was within their jurisdiction, to identify the enemy."
"Non-member states?"
Kuro stroked his chin. "In principle, we shouldn't get involved in this kind of thing unless we receive orders from above."
“Yes, that’s what I thought when I received the news. I called Cass, but he insisted on going to check it out, since it’s within his jurisdiction and he didn’t want to tarnish your reputation,” Kro said, adjusting his glasses.
"What kind of reputation do I have?! Tell him to come back! Don't meddle in other people's business!" Kuro rolled his eyes, then thought for a moment, "Fine, let him find out what this thing is before he comes back."
