Kuro's Observation Haki kept sensing the royal palace on the central island, but the person with the lion-like aura remained motionless.
"Strange, aren't you coming?"
Kuro had been gripping the hilt of his sword the whole time, thinking that Shiki would sense him and come over, but it seems... nothing's happening.
“Strange, why aren’t they coming? Where are they, Indigo?”
Similarly, at the royal palace on the central island, Golden Lion was waiting there. Some of the pirates he had invited were already on high alert in front of the palace, but the marines who could use Moonwalk seemed to have no intention of coming.
Puff, puff, puff, puff...
"Shut up!" the golden lion roared at the side.
Indigo walked up to the Golden Lion and said, "Boss Shiki, we can't observe you once you've landed on the island. Perhaps you've landed on some other island."
"Strange, if they can fly, they should come to the palace. Don't they want to know who's here?"
Shiki the Golden Lion stroked his chin, looking puzzled. "I am Shiki the Golden Lion. How can I instill fear in them if they don't come?"
"Perhaps it landed on an island and got entangled by the ferocious beasts there."
Indigo chuckled from the side, "Boss Shiki, let the Navy experience the power of SIQ first."
The golden lion sneered, "That's a pity. It must be a shame that they can't see me."
...
On the island, Kuro is still waiting.
Logically speaking, Shiki should have come. Three unfamiliar auras inexplicably entered the island. Couldn't his Observation Haki sense them?
Does it really lack a domineering presence?
Kuro shook his head, banishing the foolish idea from his mind.
How could that be?
On the small island they were on, ferocious beasts were constantly being attracted by the bloodstains of the beast that Kro had just killed, and they appeared one after another.
"Swift Shave - Tiger Claw!"
With a single blow, Kro dismembered a rabbit-shaped beast. After catching his breath, he saw several more beast corpses around him.
If he keeps using this trick, his stamina won't last long.
He glanced enviously at Lida on the other side. She seemed quite content. A ferocious beast pounced on her, but she easily dodged it, brushing her hand across the beast's body. The beast collapsed to the ground as if struck by lightning, motionless.
"What are you thinking, Kuro?"
Lida asked Kuro.
He hadn't moved much just now, standing there like a statue.
Kuro pulled a cigar from his pocket, lit it, exhaled a puff of smoke, and said, "Lida, why don't you think the Golden Lion comes over?"
Lida paused for a moment, "Why did he come here?"
"Because I won't go there. There are many scents there, some human and some beast. As the enemy's lair, if we go there, wouldn't we be stepping into a trap? Only if he comes will we not be so passive."
They had already entered the enemy's lair; it wouldn't be stupid for Kuro to enter the lair's lair as well.
Lida nodded. "I understand what you're saying, but why did he come here? He's the Golden Lion."
"Does he need a reason to come?" Kuro asked.
"Don't you need it?"
Do you need it?
"Don't you need it?"
"Never mind, if he doesn't come, I'll start clearing from here."
Kuro originally thought that if Shiki came alone, he would only be one person, while there were three on this side, especially Lida, whose Devil Fruit ability was slightly overpowered. If she touched Shiki, she wouldn't be able to lose his fighting ability, but his energy would definitely be reduced.
For every point the opponent loses, Kuro becomes one point stronger.
What?
One-on-one?
Let whoever wants a one-on-one fight go ahead.
But if the Golden Lion doesn't move from there, then Kuro has another plan.
In my past life, when playing games, I needed to clear out the mobs before fighting the boss.
There are too many small monsters here. In any case, to prevent being surrounded, the 'small monsters' need to be cleared out first.
Kuro gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, his eyes narrowing slightly.
The air in the surrounding area seemed to become heavy.
"Awooo!!!"
When Kro saw a ferocious lion that had just run out of the jungle, he roared and ran away with his tail between his legs.
It is fear.
"What's there to be afraid of? It's just..."
Kro curled his lip, then looked down at his uncontrollably trembling legs, and gritted his teeth, saying, "Just killing intent!"
brush!
A mad bee appeared behind Kuro. Without even looking, Kuro lightly flicked the hilt of his sword with his left thumb. A flash of cold light appeared, and the mad bee was instantly cut in two.
"One-Sword Style: Crushing Pressure".
call!!!
A wave of air surged from the direction where Kuro swung his sword, stirring the grass and the jungle.
In Lida's perception, the life force in that direction weakened instantly.
The direction in which the sword was swung forward saw ferocious beasts hunting for food, fighting, and roaring at each other. In that instant, their eyes rolled back, and they collapsed one by one.
The more powerful beasts, in that instant when the murderous aura filled the air, scattered in fear, but after only a few steps, they all collapsed.
The direction from which Kuro swung his sword was now silent.
No more roars could be heard.
"Lida, Clooney, stand behind me."
Kuro turned around, changed direction, and addressed the two of them.
Without him saying a word, the two obediently walked behind him.
Lida wiped the sweat from her face. No matter when she looked at it again, that murderous aura was still frightening.
