At this moment, they are on the route connecting Dressrosa and G-3.
Two warships sailed to the left and right, respectively. A ship, different from the warships and decorated with checkered patterns, and several sizes larger than the warships, was in the center of the two warships.
Besides the cannons mounted on both sides of the ship, what stands out most on the deck is a building resembling a hotel.
The ship's sails bear a symbol resembling a wolf's helmet, adorned with a wolf's tail and a large sword forked across it.
That was the symbol of King David, the new king of Dressrosa, who was gradually being known throughout the world as the 'Conqueror King' and the 'Mad King'.
"Look, Cass Wilbur!"
On the ship's expansive deck, David, draped in a cloak, stood with his arms outstretched and called out to the island the ship had just passed:
“Since the master injected funds, we in Dressrosa have no pressure anymore. This island used to be very dilapidated, but now you can see construction sounds everywhere!”
Aside from the sound of the waves, even though they had just sailed past the island, the two sailors beside David could still hear the lively shouts coming from within the island.
On that island, many buildings have already appeared, but even more are just building frames.
The architecture is full of the island's unique charm, making you want to go up and experience it for yourself.
"I see!"
One of the two naval officers nodded solemnly and said, "This is truly a unique sight. It's just a small amount of money, yet it can ignite such passion and hope. It's really... amazing! David, amazing!"
Another person exclaimed excitedly, "It's truly exhilarating! Throughout the voyage, all we've seen are scenes of hope like this; it's so much more vibrant than before!"
Of the two sailors, the one who spoke first was a man with a thick beard, a thick mustache on his philtrum, and a thick ring of beard around his chin.
Overall, it conveys a sense of 'perseverance' and 'steel'.
Doug Cass.
The navy on the other side, while not particularly bearded, exuded an air of 'philosophy' and 'mentor'.
Wilbur.
The two of them were tasked with escorting the King of Dressrosa.
Compared to other kings, David, who also follows Mr. Kuro's ideals and wants to fulfill Mr. Kuro's wishes, gets along very well with him.
"Not at all. Compared to the two of you who can sit by the master's side and wait to be ordered and fulfill his wishes, someone like me, who still needs the master's support, would be too disrespectful to the master if I didn't do a good job," David said guiltily.
He was genuinely remorseful. The news of the destruction of Gran Tesoro had already spread, and he had heard about it. Unlike others who didn't know the inside story or who did it, David knew that the Master could come up with so much money and half of Gran Tesoro, so he knew.
This should be the savings and reward the master has accumulated from his hard work in completing the task.
Although he believed it was the master's scheme, David felt both guilty and deeply moved that the master had gone to such lengths for his own sake and for Dressrosa.
He will not disappoint the master!
He was very confident about this world conference. If he had rushed into the conquest earlier, he would have had to deal with the criticism from other countries at the conference. But with such a large sum of money invested, making the conquered areas more stable, he didn't care anymore.
After the World Conference, these territories will be his!
"Huh, a golden ship?"
Suddenly, Wilbur, with his sharp eyes, looked to the side. In the sea, a golden light refracted under the sun and slowly appeared. Within that golden light, the shape of a huge ship was faintly visible. As it drew closer, Wilbur could see clearly that it was indeed a huge ship.
The Golden Ship.
"The Golden Lion?!" The three of them were stunned.
Cass exclaimed excitedly, "We used flag signals and telegraphs, and we never expected to run into Mr. Kuro!"
"Is that you, sir? Are you on that ship?!"
“It should be. Mr. Kuro was also on an escort mission this time. It seems to be a new country, not far from Dressrosa, called... Kolf?” Wilbur said.
"The Kingdom of Korf?"
David thought for a moment and said, "I know that country, but it's not a member state, is it? The king is also very powerful. Why would they join the World Government? Or would you have to go there yourself, Master?"
David's eyes widened, as if he had just realized something, and a deep emotion welled up in his eyes. "That's how it is, that's how it is!!"
The Kingdom of Korf knew that it possessed abundant and exquisite stones, was skilled in stone carving, and had everyone who was a master stonemason and builder. Moreover, it had a natural weapon specialty called 'Bomb Rock,' which could be used immediately after being dug out without needing to be manufactured or mined, and whose power was comparable to that of cannonballs.
Most importantly, it's very close to Dressrosa.
David's first target was this place, but the Kingdom of Korf was quite powerful, and if he went there rashly, he might get stuck. Dressrosa itself had a weapons manufacturing factory, so apart from the trouble of purchasing materials, everything was fine, so he didn't consider it.
Now that we have money, we are less concerned about the scarcity of materials.
However, there are still drawbacks. Materials cost money, not only for weapons but also for building materials. The money given by the master cannot be wasted. There are still many things to do for the sake of the great cause.
If exquisite stones could be used to construct the island's buildings, it would definitely boost the industry chain. Add to that the specialty 'bomb rock'... and a lot of money would be saved!
