Chapter 786 Do You Look at Me?

"Cass?"

Kuro thought for a moment, and realized that it seemed the two of them had gone to escort David.

“Let them come closer,” Kuro said.

"yes."

Kro responded and went out to inform them.

"Aren't you going out?" Lida asked, eating snacks on the sofa.

"Why go out? Let them come if they want. Am I, a dignified vice admiral, supposed to go and greet my subordinates?" Kuro said, biting his cigar.

“David is still the king, isn’t he?” Lida said.

“Your brother is a king too, do you even look at me?” Kuro rolled his eyes.

Lida was taken aback, then her face turned red instantly. "I...I won't look!"

Kuro: "..."

"Lida..."

He stared intently at Lida and said, "You've gone astray! Who taught you that? Kro? Or Moore?"

Who the hell brought this?!

How did this child turn out like this!

"Huh? What do you mean?" Lida tilted her head. "Nobody's taking care of me? What can they possibly teach me?"

She thought about it for a moment, what could Chloe possibly bring her? Wasn't he just a handbag carrier?

Moore? Not very familiar with him.

“I’m always with you, so who else would take me?” Lida said.

Oh, it's me... NMSL.

"Never mind what I said." Kuro pursed his lips and leaned back.

Perhaps we should be more mindful of our words. Lida was so naive when she first arrived; she was so adorable except for her love of food.

How could staying near someone for too long corrupt them?

No, absolutely not.

A good child should be sunny, bright, and cute, not dirty.

As Kro went out to report, two warships flanking a large ship gradually approached, and soon the ships reached the same course as the Golden Lion.

Two warships followed behind, while the ships from Dressrosa were level with the Golden Lion, though their size was like that of an adult compared to a child compared to the enormous golden ship.

The ship was parallel to each other, and a staircase stretched out. David, Cass, and Wilbur walked up the parallel staircase to the Golden Lion, while the navy waiting on the deck saluted them in unison.

“Cass, Wilbur, and... David.”

Kro was there too, and pushed up his glasses. "What a coincidence, to run into you guys."

"I never expected to run into you on the same flight route."

David smiled, his gaze sweeping across the navy before finally settling on Aquitaine, who was dressed the only one who looked different.

"Hello, I am Aquitaine, the new king of the Kingdom of Korf, and you are my neighbor." Aquitaine smiled warmly.

Dressrosa!

This is the King of Dressrosa!

He was worried when Kuro mentioned wanting to find a powerful backer.

Now one has appeared.

Dressrosa was a powerful nation before, and it is even more so now. As a neighbor, Aquitaine has certainly heard the stories of the "Conqueror King" and the "Mad King" David. Dressrosa has conquered far and wide, making the surrounding countries feel insecure.

Even before his father was defeated by the Straw Hats, he had mentioned this matter, believing that this king was ambitious and powerful.

Isn't this the perfect backer and powerful patron?

"I see. The new king? Please wait a moment, I'll go pay my respects to His Majesty first..."

David nodded and walked straight toward the largest fortress.

Aquitaine's expression stiffened, but he shook his head.

After all, this is the king of a great nation; it's perfectly normal for him to be a little arrogant.

The road ahead is long...

David and his two companions entered the largest fortress and walked to the top. Before they could even knock on the office door, they heard a crisp sound coming from inside.

"No, Kuro."

"Be good, listen to me, I won't hurt you."

"No, you always say that, and then I become abnormal. This is more comfortable."

David's hand, which was knocking on the door, froze.

This is in...

Cass, standing next to him, had no such reservations and simply pushed the door open.

Inside the office, Kuro sat opposite Lida and said earnestly, "Where are you comfortable? You need to be more careful with your words in the future. It really affects a girl's image. Look at the things you're saying. If it weren't for me teaching you, I would have drowned anyone else, you know that?"

Lida pouted and said, "No, I think this is normal and comfortable. You said it before, that I feel very uncomfortable if I keep some things bottled up."

Just as the two finished speaking, the door was pushed open, and Cass exclaimed excitedly, "Mr. Kuro!!"

Kuro turned to look at Cass and the others, "Cass..."

“And me, sir!” David entered, bowing respectfully. “It is truly an honor for me, David, to travel with you, sir.”

"I told you not to call me 'Master' anymore."

Kuro rolled his eyes and tossed him a cigar.

David, as if he had found a priceless treasure, picked up the tossed cigar with both hands and carefully put it into his pocket.

"I told you to smoke it, what are you doing?" Kuro said speechlessly.

"This... I'd like to savor it slowly."

David said, "By the way, sir, isn't the king of the Kingdom of Korf Noadi? Why is it Aquitaine?"

"His son, the old king is gone, and his son has succeeded him, which is perfectly normal. Something has happened to the Kingdom of Korf, and it's in a bad state now. Otherwise, how could the Kingdom of Korf normally have joined the World Government?"

“I see, I understand, sir.” David nodded solemnly.

David understood what his master meant.
