Kuro raised an eyebrow.
That's a provocation.
He doesn't really want to be in the limelight, but since you came to him yourself, there's nothing he can do about it.
I have no choice but to act!
He had planned it out: if he were to be taken hostage by Monca, he would create an "accident" to force Monca to surrender.
Kuro struck a pose as if he were bravely going to his death, and walked towards Monka.
"Sergeant Kuro, no!"
"Sergeant, I'll take your place!"
Monka watched as Kuro approached, and he followed him with his hostage. Just as they were about to meet, he suddenly threw the Marine towards Kuro and ran away.
"Monka, you!"
As Lipa watched Monka run outside, he roared, "Shoot! Shoot!"
Bang bang bang!
The lead bullets flew out and bounced off the ground at Monka's feet. Several bullets hit his body, and Monka groaned before running out of the branch office.
"Chase them! Chase them all!"
Led by Lipa, the navy charged toward Monca.
Kuro was a little stunned. He really thought Morgan would take him hostage, but he didn't expect him to run away so easily.
It's good that they ran away; at least they don't have to act anymore.
The other civilians dodged in the direction Monka charged, except for a little girl with pigtails who couldn't run away in time and fell to the ground with a thud, staring in horror at the giant-like Monka.
"Rika!"
A woman ran to the little girl and hugged her tightly.
"Get out of my way!"
Monka raised his axe and swung it down.
"Stop, Monka!" Lipa shouted, his eyes wide with fury.
But it was too late!
Zzzzz!
The sound of a blade being drawn from its sheath.
"One-Sword Style: A Line of Sky!"
A plume of smoke abruptly cut straight through the branch square, across the Monka, and reached right up to the little girl.
Kuro held the scabbard in his left hand and the hilt in his right, slowly sheathing the sword.
Click.
puff!!!
A bloody gash appeared on Monca's back, flesh bursting open and blood spurting out, causing his eyes to roll back and him to fall to the ground.
"You've gone too far."
Kuro glanced at him coldly and said indifferently.
It's fine if Monka runs away, but it's not so easy to hurt someone right under his nose.
He was, after all, a naval officer, and his values from his previous life remained intact.
If I can't see him, so be it; but if I do see him, I have to do something about it.
He can't just watch someone die in front of him.
"Ku...Kuro?"
Lipa stared at Kuro in astonishment; that last strike was simply amazing.
Is that really something Kuro could do?
Rippa's impression of Kuro was that he was a diligent and conscientious navy man who had joined the army early but had always kept a low profile. She never expected that he would have such a hidden talent.
Before Ripa could even ask a question, Kuro suddenly rolled his eyes back and fainted.
"Sergeant Kuro!"
The navy men were terrified and rushed over, shaking Kuro frantically.
"Doctor, doctor! Someone has fainted here! Quickly, call a doctor!"
Amid the noise, a few shouts were mixed in.
Lida pouted, "What terrible acting."
For inexplicable phenomena, just faint; you'll definitely get through it.
Want me to reveal my true strength? Impossible! This is my hidden strategy!
Monca was imprisoned again, and this time he was truly not going to get out. The navy tied him up with iron chains again and again to make sure he couldn't move before throwing him into the cell.
Inside the branch, Kuro was carried into the infirmary by the Marines, with Lida following behind.
While the Navy went to fetch the doctor, Kuro narrowed his eyes to slits and subtly beckoned to Lida.
Lida walked over and gave Kuro a strange look.
Kuro opened his mouth and mouthed to her, "Pop, me."
"?"
"Suck, dry, me."
That's what they said with their mouths.
Lida understood, and her eyes immediately lit up.
You asked for it!
She had wanted to make a move on this man for a long time!
She reached out and touched Kuro, and instantly, Kuro felt his energy draining away.
This wasn't the feeling of being blocked by Armament Haki as before; it was a real, tangible feeling of energy disappearing.
that is...
"Can you hurry up?"
While the marines turned their heads, Kuro glared at Lida.
Lida was also completely bewildered.
She has faced powerful opponents before; the so-called strongmen of the Grand Line are as numerous as carp crossing a river. However, few can withstand her power. Even a pirate with a bounty of hundreds of millions would lose his strength in five seconds if his mastery of Haki is not deep enough.
But what's wrong with this man!
"Damn it, how did you train?!" Lida hissed angrily, "Your stamina is just too incredible!"
Kuro thought for a moment, "We should start appropriate training at age six."
He spoke calmly, but Lida felt a storm raging inside her.
Judging from his tone, he's just going to practice casually?
But why can't I suck it all out?!
It was as if there was a vast ocean hidden within Kuro's body; no matter how much he absorbed, it remained boundless.
This energy... is enormous!
Kuro's training is actually quite simple. He doesn't know any of the Six Powers or any unique physical techniques. His training method is based on Garp's.
This was the only method he knew.
You may not know what it means to flatten a mountain with an ordinary knife; we usually call such a person a 'sword master'.
Garp once leveled ten mountains with his fists, so it shouldn't be a problem for Kuro to flatten them in eighteen years.
After eighteen years of training, Kuro didn't know how many mountains he had flattened, but he didn't think he was particularly strong. It was just flattening mountains; even a swordsman could do that, right?
