Chapter 808 I'll tolerate it since you're so big

Flying Rudder Pirates...

If someone else were to give this name, Kuro would drown that person.

But what about Lida...?

Forget it, let's just do it once.

As for the title, he originally wanted to be called the "Most Ancient King", but after thinking about it, he felt it didn't quite fit, so he simply called himself the Heavenly King.

It uses the 'Heavenly Treasury,' and since it stands in the heavens every day, what else could it be called but Heavenly King?

After making the decision, the group headed towards the port.

The blood on the ship had been cleaned up by the arriving navy. The navy personnel, now dressed in rough pirate uniforms, were all elite navy personnel from the New World. In their uniforms, they were elite navy personnel; out of their uniforms, they were fierce pirates.

Upon seeing Kuro and his group, the first thing these people did was to salute, standing ramrod straight.

"Stand a little crooked, what's with standing so straight?" Kuro rolled his eyes. "You guys don't look like pirates at all. Loosen up a bit, or get some alcohol. Don't be so serious."

Smoker said, "You're the only one who's loose."

"Nonsense, your good friend Kuzan is even more flabby than me." Kuro rolled his eyes.

"So that idiot went to become a pirate!" Smoker gritted his teeth.

Kuro: "..."

"Alright, just make it a bit like One Piece, don't be so serious," Kuro waved his hand and said.

As he spoke, he boarded the boat, looked up, and froze on the spot.

On the brand-new sail, there is a skull painted on it, and on the skull, there is a golden object that is scattered in a fan shape, like a halo.

That thing looked like half a ship's rudder, and it was stuck to the skull.

"Who drew this?" Kuro's eyes narrowed slightly.

“Me!” Lida raised her head and said proudly.

"Why are you drawing this?" Kuro asked.

“A flight rudder needs a rudder,” Lida said matter-of-factly. “Isn’t it beautiful? My drawing skills are pretty good.”

Kuro took a deep breath and gritted his teeth.

I raised them myself!

These are my own pets!

You have to accept the fact that you spoiled them!

"Board!"

Kuro walked up the steps that extended from the hull of the ship.

Pirate ships don't normally have these kinds of stairs, but since they're marines, they naturally bring their own tools. Otherwise, they couldn't just grab a rope and climb up like the pirates.

That's so undignified.

"Alright, now that the pirate crew is formed, remember this: we are pirates now, so we must do things from a pirate's perspective. For example, if we encounter pirates, we shouldn't arrest them as marines, but rather double-cross them as pirates. Remember that." Kuro said to the marines dressed as pirates.

"Hey, what's the difference? We're still fighting pirates, aren't we?" Smoker shouted.

“That’s different. We’re flying this flag because that’s what we do,” Kuro said matter-of-factly.

"Whatever you say." Smoker rubbed his forehead and said, "Then let's set sail, Captain."

Kuro nodded and looked at the photographer who had stayed on land. "Will I be able to see the Newsbird issue the bounty tomorrow?"

"There shouldn't be any problem, Lieutenant General."

"Okay, I'll wait for the newspaper. I'm off."

Kuro waved his hand, turned and walked towards the captain's cabin, raising his arm at the same moment, and said, "Setting sail, men!"

"yes!!"

The sailors saluted again and then quickly ran to their posts, some pulling the sails and others steering the ship. As the sails billowed, the ship set off from the shore and headed out to sea.

In the captain's cabin, Kuro immediately found a place to sit down.

The previous owner seemed to be a retired king. His pirate ship was not small, and as a king, he would naturally be particular about the details. Kuro liked the layout of the captain's cabin.

Besides a large bed, there were chairs and a sofa, and Kuro also found a liquor cabinet inside.

The captain's cabin is quite large; Kuro doesn't need to hold back.

In the cabins, there were also separate rooms for the former officers, so Lida and the others also had a place to sleep.

that is...

"Kuro, I don't want such a small place!"

Lida burst in, staring enviously at the large bed in the captain's cabin, and said, "I've never slept in such a small room before, I want this one!"

“Hey, I’m the captain. What kind of nonsense is it for me to sleep in a small room?” Kuro said.

"No way! It's too small. I'm not used to it. I'm not going to put up with it," Lida pouted.

Kuro sighed, "Alright, alright, you sleep here, I'll go to your room."

"Huh?"

Lida paused for a moment, then said, "No need. This bed is so big, you don't have to put up with it. We can sleep together."

"Come on, what kind of situation would it be if we slept in the same bed? I'm so big, you wouldn't be able to stand it later," Kuro rolled his eyes and said.

"I'll put up with it if you're older," Lida said with a hint of longing.

Kuro shook his head and stood up from his seat. "Stay here. I'm going to the cabin. If it's too big for one person, you can ask Tashigi."

"whispering sound..."

"Hmm? Did I hear you tsk? Are you unhappy about something? Or are you resentful about something? I even gave you my room." Kuro looked at Lida.

“No, you misheard.” Lida quickly shook her head.

Kuro: "..."

"You can rest now."

He walked outside, out of the captain's cabin, and onto the deck, where he instructed a navy officer, "Go to the cabin and tidy up Captain Lida's room. I'm going to stay there."

"Yes, Captain!" The navy officer realized what was happening, but without saluting, he turned and went to the cabin.

At the bow of the deck, Smoker rested his hands on the edge of the ship, gazing out at the sea.

"What are you thinking about?" Kuro walked over and asked, casually taking one of the cigars strapped to his arm.

"Can't you smoke your own stuff?!" Smoker snapped. "I paid for the hot springs in Zatannosen earlier, you're richer than me, aren't you!"

"We're all base commanders, why differentiate between rich and poor? I'm fucking broke lately."

Kuro shrugged and said, "If you have any connections, help me keep an eye out for gold. I need to make a batch of gold jewelry and then sell it."

“Gold?” Smoker asked. “Where did you get your gold? Oh… I heard you robbed Gran Tesoro, did you get it from there?”

"Watch out or I'll sue you! What do you mean by 'robbery'? I called it a reward, a bonus. It was given to me directly from above. I didn't do anything. By the way, where did you get this information?"

"Tina told me that you gave 20 billion to headquarters. I've heard about that."

As Smoker spoke, he glanced at the sea again and said in a deep voice, "Why do those pirates have so much money?"

"If you don't make money, there won't be so many pirates."

Kuro spat out the remaining cigar in his mouth, then took another bite, saying, "It can't be that everyone is chasing their dreams; the world isn't that pure."
