Chapter 843 Okay, let's continue.

If this island really shatters, these few people definitely won't be able to rescue the two thousand navy men who are still unconscious.

At this point in the battle, Kuro simply couldn't care less about whether the island would split apart or not.

To be honest, given the current level of the battle, they are even worried about Kuro.

The power of that punch...

The momentum is unstoppable!

BOOM!!!

laugh!!!

The loud, mixed sound shook the entire island, sending sand flying and converging around Barrett's side like a sandstorm.

Before Barrett's fist, a figure retreated at lightning speed like a rocket, even breaking through the air and creating a swirling shockwave. At that speed, it might have rushed off the island and headed straight for the sea.

boom!!

Suddenly, a mountain of arid sand and gravel, resembling a mountain range, rose abruptly from the island behind them. The figure crashed into the mountain, creating a large hole that allowed a massive amount of sand to pour down like a sand avalanche.

That figure...

“Kuro!!” Lida exclaimed, her eyes wide.

Kuro lost?

puff!!

Barrett staggered, his body lurching as he half-knelt on the ground, a fountain of crimson blood spurting out and spreading across a fan-shaped area in front of him.

A deep gash appeared from Barrett's right shoulder down to his left ribcage, from which blood flowed freely.

Bang!

The top of the sand and gravel mountain exploded open, and Kuro jumped out, standing on the summit with a gloomy expression.

"Shh..."

He involuntarily exhaled breaths from his nostrils, and with those breaths, Kuro staggered, opened his mouth and vomited several gulps of blood, which landed on the sand dune, looking shocking on the sand.

"Cough cough cough!"

After spitting out blood, Kuro coughed violently, his body swaying unsteadily. Finally, he stood up, clutching his chest and abdomen, and gasped for breath.

That punch hit him hard, shattering his 'Black Tortoise Body' and causing him to exhale a breath of turbid air. His injuries were no less severe than Barrett's.

If he hadn't used his abilities at the last moment to alter the landscape and create a mountain, he probably would have fallen straight into the sea.

Under that kind of power, he could no longer control his body and could only use his abilities to change the landscape.

"Well done!" Kuro said through gritted teeth, his eyes fixed on Barrett.

"Ha ha ha ha!!"

Barrett stood up, bursting into laughter. He spread his arms as if to grasp something, and said excitedly, "Yes! That's it! Come on, Kuro, if I kill you, I will officially step into the world's strongest!!"

"So what, I'm the 'world's strongest' goalkeeper?" Kuro retorted. "Watch out, the goal might fall and crush you!"

Barrett looked up at Kuro on the mountaintop and grinned maliciously, "You'll have to ask my fists first!"

The two stared at each other, the atmosphere growing increasingly tense and oppressive.

Bang!

Just then, a gunshot rang out for no apparent reason, breaking the oppressive atmosphere.

A naval captain slowly regained consciousness and saw Barrett bleeding profusely. He instinctively raised his gun and fired a bullet.

The bullet, carrying an imposing aura, had already approached Barrett before anyone could react. Barrett frowned, turned around, and threw a punch.

Bang!

His fist made contact with the bullet, creating a shockwave that propelled the bullet at an even faster speed toward the naval captain.

At this moment, everyone realized what was happening.

"Idiot!" Crocodile cursed.

Mihawk closed his eyes, seemingly in silent tribute to the naval captain who was about to die.

“Arrogant person…” Hancock said with a look of disdain.

The flying squirrel moved swiftly, instinctively wanting to rush to the rescue, but it was too late. Everyone's attention had been drawn to the two of them, and the bullet's speed, after being countered by Barrett's punch, had already exceeded their current range.

It's too late!

The bullet was almost at the naval captain's forehead, but his body stiffened at that moment, unable to react in time, and he could only watch helplessly as the bullet approached.

laugh!

At that moment, a streak of black light flashed past, shattering the bullet, but the immense force propelled it upwards, causing it to embed itself in a sand dune not far from Barrett.

Black Blade, Autumn Water.

"knife!"

Lida stared wide-eyed at Kuro, who was now empty-handed, on the mountaintop, but quickly recovered and her expression returned to normal.

Kuro doesn't just have one sword; it seems he has something even more powerful in his possession.

“This is even more idiotic.” Crocodile’s face darkened. “Boring Marines, boring Guardians.”

Mihawk opened his eyes, showing a hint of surprise, but then laughed and said, "Oh? I heard that at Marineford, you helped Marco and the others exchange a few blows with Akainu, saying something like, 'If you want to protect something, then protect it.'"

These words made Crocodile's face darken even more. "Do you want to die, Mihawk?"

"Hmph hmph hmph..."

Mihawk smiled and said no more. Instead, he looked at Kuro on the mountaintop and said, "However, this is indeed an unwise move. A swordsman without a sword will lose more than just a little bit of his combat power."

Barrett glanced at the seemingly dazed naval captain, then looked at Kuro on the mountaintop. His expression suddenly calmed down, and he said, "Boring."

"It was just something I did on the spur of the moment," Kuro said casually.
