Chapter 853 Getting Drunk Again! Getting Drunk Again!

After Barrett died, Kuro swayed, his body tilting to the side before he fell to the ground. Just as he fell, he let out a scream:

"Lida!!"

"I'll lend you some of my strength!"

Lida flashed and landed directly among the unconscious marines. Her figure darted through the center of them, and it was clear that these marines had become a little thinner.

"They're here!"

Lida let out a shout and leaped in that direction, moving so fast that she was like a blur, landing directly near Kuro. With a flick of her hand, a massive surge of energy struck Kuro's body.

Thump!

Kuro was jolted by this energy and gradually clenched his fist.

The power has re-emerged.

Although it wasn't much, only a small amount compared to his physical strength, this energy was enough to heal his external injuries.

He sat up and moved his left shoulder blade and leg, where the wounds were emitting white steam as they began to heal.

Of course, it's impossible to fully recover now, but the injuries can be healed with some rest and won't become indelible.

Otherwise, he might have to go and keep Kuzan company, or he might have to completely cover his hands and feet with knives or something.

Fortunately, Lida was there...

Kuro took a few breaths, feeling himself come back to life, and looked up at the sky.

If his abilities hadn't been developed to a certain level, simply floating still wouldn't have consumed his stamina; otherwise, by now, the things in the sky would have fallen long ago.

"It's getting intoxicating! It's getting intoxicating! I'll make you get intoxicated! I'll make you get intoxicated!"

He then touched his forehead and excitedly slapped himself several times.

Now that the fight is over, he's calmed down.

So what are the higher-ups doing?! Why are they fighting so fiercely?!

What if I were the one who died?!

Wouldn't that solve everything?!

He just wants to be safe, not to fight to the death!

He went to great lengths to summon these people, just for this situation. When the fight was almost over, they swarmed in, and Kuro, puffing on his cigar, said, "Don't talk about morality when dealing with these evil heretics. Everyone, let's fight side by side."

How wonderful! How comfortable and safe it feels!

How did it all end up being a one-on-one fight when I got carried away?

Thank goodness we won; what if we had lost...

He shuddered, turned back to look at Barrett's body, and couldn't help but feel a lingering fear.

If we lose, I'll be the one lying down.

He swung his legs and stood up. Walking like this was a bit difficult now, but in the end he floated up. He glanced at Barrett's corpse, and with a flick of his finger, the surrounding sea swirled.

This body cannot be left behind. If someone finds it and turns it into a weapon, we'll be in big trouble, like Moria.

There are too many strange ability users.

But staring at the corpse, he finally sighed, "Never mind..."

The whirlpool stopped, and the land near Barrett swept away and surrounded him, like an earthen coffin, sinking into the sea.

He stared at the sea for a while, shook his head, and then looked around.

The entire island is now in ruins, with fragments scattered everywhere. Only the small area that Kuro had previously cut open remains intact. Even the spot where he is standing now is barely a place where he could land.

The island is long gone.

"Boom boom boom..."

The Den Den Mushi rang, and Lida lowered her head, took out the watch Den Den Mushi that she had previously collected for Kuro from her pocket, and turned it on.

"Hello..."

"Oh~ Is this Lida? Did you answer my call... Are you done?" The little Den Den Mushi's expression turned lewd.

“It’s Admiral Kizaru.” Lida handed the Den Den Mushi to Kuro.

"Old man?"

"Oh~ Kuro, you can actually make phone calls. Looks like you've got it all sorted out. Did you catch Barrett?" Kizaru asked with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I caught him. I threw the body into the sea." Kuro said irritably, "What do you want from me? I just finished, and I'm seriously injured. I'm not kidding you, seriously injured. It won't be healed for at least ten years."

"Oh~ So many vice admirals and elite naval personnel went there, and they still managed to seriously injure you. That's terrifying."

Kizaru, still smiling, said, "I just wanted to tell you that our proposal... has been approved."

Kuro was taken aback. "The World Conference is over?"

That makes sense. The World Conference only lasts seven days. He had been on his way here for several days, and then the fighting lasted for several more days before it ended.

“Yes, it’s over. A few things happened, but… we’ll talk about it when you get back. Those kings need to be escorted,” Kizaru said.

"I understand, sir. We'll talk again when we get back."

Kuro hung up the phone and casually put the watch on his wrist.

The meeting has ended...

The proposal has been passed, which means that the power of the Seven Warlords of the Sea is now in their hands.

He thought for a moment, then stretched out his hand and snapped his fingers.

boom!

A golden object fell from the sky and crashed into the sea, creating waves.

Golden number.

“It’s completely over.” Mihawk gripped his great black sword ‘Night’ tightly, his gaze towards Kuro filled with fighting spirit. “You’re really something, Kuro.”

Hancock scoffed, "Good luck."

For the Seven Warlords of the Sea, it's not their own business. Even if they are conscripted, they have already fulfilled their duties by doing their part. It's unrealistic to expect them to fight as hard as Clow Reed.

"Tch, is it over?"

Crocodile, with a cigar in his mouth, began to create swirling dust around himself, enveloping Mr. 1 as he prepared to escape.

Just then, Kuro pointed at Crocodile and shouted, "Stop him!"

Crocodile was stunned and before he could react, several lieutenant generals flashed and surrounded him.

"Hey, Kuro!"

Crocodile's face darkened, and he said in a low voice, "What do you mean?"

"What do you mean?"

Kuro took flight, casually dragging a stone platform to Lida's feet, and flew over to the Golden Lion before saying to Crocodile, "I'm a Marine, you're a pirate, isn't it normal for me to stop you?"

Upon hearing this, Mihawk, Hancock, and Crocodile distanced themselves from each other.

They are also pirates, but they are the Seven Warlords of the Sea, which makes them different.

"Trying to arrest me?"

Crocodile was enveloped in an even more intense cloud of dust as he said in a deep voice, "Try it!"

"Don't be so aggressive, crocodile."

Kuro said calmly, "Since you helped me before, I've come up as a guest. I have something to tell you."

"You, a Marine? You want something from me?" Crocodile looked at him with disbelief. "What are you plotting?"

"Are you scared?" Kuro asked.

"Hmph, I'm not afraid of anything."

Crocodile glanced at the elite lieutenant generals surrounding him, thought for a moment, and the dust around him disappeared.

He brought a subordinate with him, and if these people were truly determined to stop him, he might not be able to escape.

If they wanted to arrest him, they wouldn't talk to him like that...

So what's wrong with going up and taking a look?
